KK4 is directly rootable... therefore use

It was just a very odd response when you're in the nexus 7 section but are saying you only want a 10.1

You started a thread in the Nexus 7 forum asking about the Nexus 7, an 8" tablet, and a 10" tablet. Then you stated you're only interested in 10" tablets. ...You're very confused, and in the wrong forum.
Yeah, that was a bit silly lol. If you want a 10.1" tab, try not to compare one with a 7" tab.

It was just announced that AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint will be getting this smartphone in Q1 2014..sadly no other information was given.
