Hey guys. I just received two Duzign valor cases (blue and red). These are seriously amazing in terms of look and feel for thin cases. The valor serious had a soft matte finish. The look is similar to seido surface colors. My cases are cut out perfectly without any random sharp edges.
I have two elago cases (hard plastic smooth white and soft matte black) as well and the Duzign feel and look way better. The elago cases are way more slippery esp the matte black (it also has bad cutting with two random sharp edges at the top showing that it wasn't perfectly cut).
I also own uag navigator, cruzerlite tpu, mercury tpu, fosman kickstand hb tpu, and cimo tpu. I just ordered the Spigen wallet posted in the threads. I want to test these Duzign cases in it to see how they fit. I will be posting detailed reviews of all my cases soon, but thought I'd share my findings for anyone wanting beautiful thin cases that really are on par/better than the big names.

awesome! i was beginning to think that my thread wasn't helpful, lol. glad you guys found something you liked. that case looks really nice/rugged. looking forward to hearing what you think about it .
ps: i'm not in any way associated with Duzign. after buying two of their slim cases, i was quite satisfied with the quality/price.

Got this in. Very nice and well made. My only issue with almost all the cases I have bought is it makes the phone unusable with one hand. I keep going back to not using a case at all.
But if you want good protection and a well built case this is it.

Then, you don't really need the outer plastic frame with kickstand to hold it together and can use inner TPU shell by itself? The reason why I"m asking, among other case I have a similar designed case but with soft silicon inner shell (first one in my post HERE) and it was a true garbage because soft silicon was pulling and I had to use outer plastic frame to hold it together from slipping of the phone. This Duzign case kinds of looks similar but sounds like a much better design!

I second that. I ordered at the same time that you did and just got mine here in CO. Black/black
It's so cold outside that when I got the case into the house I thought it needed to warm up because the inner TPU was hard. Little did I know, I've been dealing with soft style TPUs as mentioned.. This is truly a very nice case for $9.
Also, the exoskeleton shell fits on my cruzerlite circuit case! Win, win.
The Spen cutout, speaker, mics and usb ports are all perfect. Very happy customer (even though it took too long [by my standards] to arrive)
I saw it on ebay $6 shipped, local US seller. Very tempting. How is button response, too hard or soft? How about color of white inner case, how close is it to white of the phone?

Don't trust pics because of overexposed flash My cheapo ebay case with silicone inner shell had perfect color match. UAG Navigator (white) is a different shade of white, although not a problem because of black bumper thus white part of case doesn't come in contact with a phone.

pretty straightforward, but I am looking for a case for my Nexus S in the color orange. Historically I have preferred TPU case's, but the black TPU case I have for this the buttons are incredibly hard to press.
I am not looking for the 2 piece snap on case's as they add to much bulk. So far the only thing thats even remotely close is the ReEarth Ringke
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Google-Nexu...cessories&hash=item4159a49888#ht_10875wt_1063
Anything else out there in Orange worth a damn?
So why don't you get the Ringke case?
If your concern is that the buttons are hard to press, that is not the case with the Ringke.
Also, they're cheaper on the official site.
Too bad Boxwave doesn't make an orange Duosuit TPU case for the Nexus, they do for the Incredible.

I didn't like in the video review for that case how soft and lose the sides are. Seemed slightly better then the cheapo silicon ones, but not near what the tpu ones are.

I haven't seen an orange TPU case either.. If I had cutting the buttons out might be viable depending on how thick the case was.

Is it squeezy as in flimsy?
Why do a lot of these cases have slots for credit cards? I wouldn't want a hard plastic card and the extra thickness of the flap and stiching to possibly press against the screen of the case is squashed slightly.
There is a gap between the flap and screen... the flap sits on the case edges.

No, it is of good quality and feels solid. Not designed to hug the geometry of the phone correctly hence there is a gap around the sides which squeeze when you hold it firmly.

I just got mine and it's pretty good for the price. I'm a bit of a flip case fan, and I can compare this against the Verus Classic K and the Tridea Italian Card Pocket Flip. My random thoughts:
In terms of build quality and how it fits to the phone, the Nillkin is IMO better than the Verus but worse than the Tridea. The Verus had squeaks around the volume button whereas the Nillkin is more form fitting. The Verus' opening for the speaker was also slightly off-centre (i.e. it looks bad). OTOH, the Nillkin is very bulky around the buttons, making it hard to access the volume and phone buttons.
The Tridea had the best quality of materials and fit the phone the best. However, I felt that the fit was just TOO precise - on mine, I had to close the flip cover "just right" or else the cover would not fit at all. Too finicky - which is why my "daily driver" is the Nillkin.
The Nillkin is good value for the money. Of course, I'm never satisfied so I'm now looking at the SGP flip case.....
Kind regards

The Classic K is a simple flip case. It is not a combo hard case and leather case (which Verus also makes - I believe Verus calls their combo ase a "diary").

Tridea, due to a more precise and slim fit.

Yes, Classic K and Saffiano case is a bit different.
1. material: synthetic leather vs saffiano leather
2. type: leather case vs hard cover + leather case. it can be either used as leather case or hard case.

I would love to get the UAG, but I need screen protection and from what I see, they do not offer a case like the defender.
It comes with a screen protector.... but also the front lip of the case extends maybe a 1/4 of an inch past the screen to protect from falls, if that's what you mean
I want something with a hard plastic cover for the screen, just like the defender.
I don't have time to look through the patents that they have (76 issues, 70 more pending), but if I recall, having a screen protector built into the case is one of them

depending on which region youre from, with the money you save from buying a UAG instead of an otterbox, you can afford to add a tempered glass screen protector as well, which offers better protection. this is the route i went, still waiting for my clearvue glass screen protector though.

Ok so I absolutely cannot stand the glossy back on this phone. I mean, it looks nice... if you never touch it. But man the smudges... its just terrible. The Incipio Feather Shine is also great. I have been using it for almost a week now and have had multiple people tell me that they didn't even know a case was on the phone!

I just got the Incipio Feather Shine and it's too slippery for me. I had a Feather before and I liked the tackiness. I can't stand the Feather Shine. What's the best case that's tacky like the Feather and is slim and just barely covers the phone.
I just got my matte black Diztronic. I can't imagine anything being thinner than it. It's pretty grippy, too.

I had a matte black TPU case for my HTC Inspire back in the day that I really liked, it was only like $5 too! I could never remember what brand it was though. I know it wasn't Diztronic (they have their logo on all their stuff right?), but when I searched for TPU cases for my GNex they looked closest to it.
Anyways yeah the TPU case I had was pretty thin, I think I am gonna try the Feather though and see how that goes. :fingers-crossed:

The Diztronic cases are TPU cases and like all TPU cases, adds a decent lip around the edges of the screen = nasty.
The Incipio Feather is the best slim case around. I have a feather case on my wife's iPhone, my old Gnex, and new G2. It is made up of top notch material that won't flake off the coating and is very durable.
I honestly can't recommend any other slim cases. And don't go for the Feather Shine or whatever... just the plain jane Feather. I got the Blue one from Verizon. They are like $18 on Amazon. Walmart also carries them. Pretty popular cases.

Also have the Matte Black for the VS980. I usually hate cases but this one is pretty thin and has a slight lip on the front to help keep the screen from resting on anything. I love the grip and the way the case feels and like most says it easily slides in/out of pockets.

They look exactly the same as the Feather (but cheaper).
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Palette-case-Sand-Black/dp/B00ED2DVZ2
Poetic also uses cheaper chinese plastics compared to Incipio, so you get what you pay for.
Also that case is not specific to the Verizon model. It appears to a be overall generic LG G2 case because of the additional unused microphone hole found only on the AT&T. Also the cutouts won't match the Verizon's smaller buttons.

Also that case is not specific to the Verizon model. It appears to a be overall generic LG G2 case because of the additional unused microphone hole found only on the AT&T. Also the cutouts won't match the Verizon's smaller buttons.

I was recently fortunate enough to be chosen to review a new case for the LG G4. I have been using a versus wallet case for my note 4 off and on (depending on work etc etc) so I was excited to try another wallet case!
First impressions of the case-
I received very quickly from Amazon and good packaging making sure case wasn't flattened. I think you can tell a lot about a product by shipper/seller's packaging. Very well packaged ready to go. I immediatley put my G4 (leather back edition) and it stuck like glue. I tried to get out and could not it was in there good, very good. Very impressed with the strength to hold it. Sold my leather back one and I currently now have a regular gray back one and it fits just as tight. I thought the leather one fit snugly because as you know the leather is a little thicker but both fit very tight and will not go anywhere. Leather is very nice and much better then my note 4 versus case. Feel is superb and it even smells like real leather!!!! Very impressive! Onto a little pro/con list for the Artech21 Full Leather Case.
Pros:
Feel of leather (best feel of a leather case)
Quality of leather (best leather on a phone case I have seen)
Stitching (some of the best I have seen)
Clasp (best I have seen, very small yet sturdy and hides away when case open unlike others)
Cons:
Cutouts by camera/volume buttons (short explanation needed here imo, just a little funky looking does not effect case or functionality just worth mentioning, could just be because it was one of the first produced)
Top/Bottom bezels are exposed (can't complain a whole lot here as my versus case on my note 4 is the same way and haven't seen another wallet case that is enclosed completely)
Neither are deal breakers
A few photos to show quality and color of it.
Personally I love the tan color some may not as they also offer a nice vintage brown (very dark color)
This photo shows the cutouts off center a tad around power/volume buttons
A look of it laying flat and the little strong clasp
Close up of clasp
Ignore the dust on the screen, my new screen protector isn't here yet lol
Notice the quality difference in the leather, Artech is much higher and not cheap like versus
Notice both are open at both ends. In a perfect world it would be closed all the way around the bezels
Notice how with the tiny clasp it sits flat compared to the versus note 4 case which will not lay flat

Thanks for thorough the review and good pics. Were you able to assess how well the wallet component of the case worked; does is close properly when filled with credit cards/id/cash?
So ugly.

You're talking about a leather accessory in a forum for a phone with a leather back. So...
This leather craze is getting out of control. Feels like we're going to put on our cowboy boots and conquer the west.

When people need a leather case to accompany their leather backed phone, they're a hat away from being Billy the Kid

i have no idea why you put the full grain leather case together with PU Leather ,
Verus is over priced as they used PU

just comparing similar wallet cases
Just a note, when I received my case, the bezel is covered all the way around. I got the darker version, so not sure if it was a design change or variation. I'll be doing my review sometime soon.

How would you describe the quality of the leather/product as a whole?

interesting. Are the sides of that tpu relatively soft or is the whole thing very rigid?
