what you flashed ?? and can u call and somebody else hear ur voice ?
Silly question, did you reboot it to release the lock?
I had some app also lock my mic, could not use it with BT. so I reboot and it worked. again
Maybe look in the market for a microphone control app. see if there is one that turns it on or off. and try to turn it on again

Hi
I have a Xperia Z1 and i have MIC issues. It is a primary mic. People can not hear me well, there is sparkling and like waterfall/windy sound.
I tryed Factory reset and it doesnt work. Secondary MIC working fine but not Primary.
Even when recording videos it is the same.
What is the issue of this? Is it standard problem with Z1? Its not expensive to replace to new one but i just wonder if someone other have same issue?
Where is the MIC flex cable located?
I do have the same problem.. But only with whatsapp sound messages, everything else works fine..
can't figure out how to fix this or what is causing this problem.. :/
Ye it is wierd but for me nothing works not even calls

Can someone help me where the mic is located?
I found a mic on top of the phone under the cover and disabled it and turn phone on and tryed to see if it is any
sound recording but i still got same issue even when mic us not connected to mainboard.
Is it wrong MIC? It has primary and secondary where are they located? Please help
Ok i found it

The MIC i disconnected was secondary mic. The primary mic is on bottom of the phone built in with speakers i think.
I believe I have the exact same problem. The primary microphone seems to have died completely or people could just hear a distorted "canny" voice. I have no idea how to solve this.
I have even more miracious issue - my microphone (in C6903, Qualcom MSM8974, software: 14.5.A.0.270, Android 5.0.2, kernel: 3.4.0) works only in Whatsup and not Viber (which is another communicator) and normal call ?
How is it possible that mic works in Whatsup but not in Viber ?
Thanks,
Artur

Hi guys am facing a headset issue and the problem is like when connected via headphones everything works normally however when removed headset...the phone says headset connected only...there is an app called headset toggle where i can manually make the headset undetect but it does only for sound and it does not remove it completely, calls dont work..so i was thinking if there is any module in xposed or something to make the phone work normally and remove the headset? Any help will be appreciated..am using xperia z custom rom and i have formatted my phone as well..i know its hardware issue but i just thought if we can manually override the settings and make completely undetectable..

Hi,
By default when i use ok google call XYZ the call is being made on the watch itself and not on the mobile phone.
How can i make or switch between watch call or bluetooth call on my phone?

If you're paired to phone via Bluetooth, make sure you're not connected to number sync... In order to use the voice diameter to initiate a call from your phone: settings -> Bluetooth -> enable phone audio: ON
Note when you "OK Google, call Batman" it will dial through your phone (if data is enabled it will prompt you to choose phone or watch).
Two annoyances:
1. Even though it's now using your phone, it will default to the watch speaker and microphone- obviously you can change on your phone's call screen to phone. Unfortunately, without phone audio enabled in Bluetooth it will not route calls through your phone.
2. If numbersync is on, the watch will assume it's a phone, even if paired. But, you just have to toggle it off (rather than disassociating).
Good luck!

Hi.
I have a similar problem. In the LG Watch Urbane 1 gen all worked fine, in 2 I have a problem because I am using a Bluetooth headset. And I wanted to call with a Bluetooth set instead of a watch. If enabled "enable phone audio: ON" then the watch is ringing only by the watch, as I turn off it stops ringing completely. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Solved
I solved the problem using two applications "Bluetooth Auto Connect" and "MacroDroid".
Hello
I am on Globerom 6.12.8 and I am having trouble using my cabled headphones during a call. If the screen goes off I can still hear the conversation but people on the other end can't hear me. It's very annoying since I use headphones for calls all the time. Any idea of what could be the problem? (I use Nova Launcher as default). Thanks in advance for the help.

Did you ever find an answer on this? I have the same problem
I don't have this problem, but perhaps play with the settings in:
settings -> sound & vibration -> audio settings.
I'm guessing there is a headphone setting causing it o recognize/not recognize the microphone in the earphones.

Excuse me, but what's about updating GlobeROM to newest version first and ask again if update doesn't fix that issue?
