[Q]New Xperia V 9.1.A.0.490 FW..?

i googled and suddenly saw this website shows new Xperia V firmware 9.1.A.0.490..its probably jellybean..but its only for germany and swiss..sorry if this thread is wrong..

I got the update through pcc now.. (im in denmark) Updating right now

T & TL & V are out every 2 days. Iguess I will be back in 6/2 and Sony better releases JB for TX.

If you have an unlocked bootloader you can't update.. Just saying

SXT, SXV - no

I bumped into some problems. Tried to flash the ftf-file but got an error asking me to enable unknown sources and debugging, and now the phone wont boot. All I get is the triangle sign.
Any ideas?

I managed to update the phone via the pc companion and now it's up and running! I'm so excited about the update

Just tried it a little bit so far, but I'm falling in love all over again. All the studdering is gone, the new look is amazing, Google now (needs no further explanation, right? ). In short it's awesome!

TX, T and V start JB from 9.x.x.x so 4.2.2 still have 9.x.x.x

I'm using greenify, which more efficient for me
Also, extended standby mode still enough for me

If you want a horse power, at least you need upgrade your battery, using at least 1900 mAh or more

yes, me too, i just wonder why people nag about stamina mode, battery extended mode is good enough, and having stamina mode is as easy as having a third party app, or know how to manage the phone, like what you said...
yes, you're right, it can start with 9.x.x.x, but consider the fact that EVEN the second number, i mean "1" in 9.1.x is not changed, i THINK if it's gonna be 4.2.2, at least that "1" has to be changed, for example 9.2.x.x, correct me if i'm wrong bro

Strange it's not on PTCRB but shows in update checker for just a few customisations. What on earth are they playing at now? They have phones running 3 different versions of 4.3 now and that's just half the customisation numbers. The other half are still on 4.1 fgs

And info at Sony site 199 is still newest.

You could do and check this yourself, or at least say please man
Just change your customisation number and use macmol update checker to see what's happening in real time.
2 of the 6 updates are for customisation numbers which don't really make sense though.

Both on build .205 now whereas the proper UK generic is still on .199 so if someone is that desperate to try it go ahead lol but I think i'll wait until I see whats fixed this time. Can't deal with charging bugs and that for a 3rd time round.

You know, I've never had a problem with the Mobile Bravia Engine working with photos on any official 4.3 version on my T/TL. However, it does take a few moments sometimes to lock in. In fact, the effect actually fades in slowly.
One thing I've noticed is that the Bravia effect is different in 4.3. I'm wondering if it's actually the same software effect as X-Reality in the Z1 under a different name, but without a direct comparison, I can't confirm.
I liked the Bravia Engine effect in 4.1.2 and 4.0 better.

then you have to flash dualboot recovery and done
ALL works good but in settings it's show as Z3 model lol.

i don't know much about that firmware just found on their website and read about on some forums, hope some improvements is there like Sony said but need a few days to check the battery life

I hope its Z3 rom ported to Z2 because the Z3 has 100mAh lower battery in specs but better in software..

lol yes now i need o change in setting to Z2 cause its show's me Z3 and even i have to install Z3 driver to recognize ADB so looks like Z3 rom lol

For those who will try this Rom,you will lose all data if you don't backup it.

Always do back-up man , because it's worth too , and the dirty flash is always good to any rom you to install.
this rom will not delete your data also it's not ftf.
