What's wrong with you, man? This article is from november 2012. It does not even point the correct date for SGSII... and Sony didn't say ANYTHING about 4.2 for Xperia T.
Just be patient, PLEASE...

if you are impatient you can flash TX firmware to T but camera will not work...but its a lot better than ours 489 version

It's still jb so camera files from 489 should correct the camera issue

Hmm. Didn't know there was any distinction whatsoever, since I thought this was generic as my device isn't from any carrier. The only bloat that I saw (which are removable) are things like File Commander, Evernote, Officesuite.

Probably won't come out. Looks like a carrier exclusive, with little changes and a lot of bloat.

If you uncheck wiping data, your data won't be lost, although best to back up to be safe.

I remember the numerous steps involved in rooting .244 involved initially backing up keys & unlocking bootloader ...
Does Vroot require these 2 steps as a pre req?

Well, if you find those root tools shady, you can always downgrade and use the perf_event exploit and upgrade via OTA, or unlock and flash a superuser zip.

Xperia T and Xperia V get new Android 4.3 build certified (9.2.A.0.295)

The Sony Xperia T (LT30a, LT30p) and Xperia V (LT25i) have seen a new Android 4.3 firmware build certified by the PTCRB. Build version 9.2.A.0.295 follows on from the last certified version of 9.2.A.0.290. There is a modest jump in build number suggesting some more bug fixing from the Sony developer team.

It's not as bad as directly quoting a post by XperiaBlog word-by-word without crediting them.

If this isnt the final build we may need an index thread about these many 4.3 threads opened for every certification

I think that sony are delaying us on purpose. since the t is nearing 18 months and saying 4.4 is under investigation they are delaying the update on purpose so that they will make 4.3 as final and class the t as 18 months and stop updates as an excuse not to update it as 4.4.

I think everyone is out there to find you and do you all kinds of harm imaginable. Even Sony with this firmware update is out to get you. They're delaying it so that you would feel anxiety; then you'd gradually sink into a depression and then they will come to your house, ring your doorbell and tell you: “there will be no 4.3 update ever”. And they'll also laugh in your face.
That's the sole reason the update is being delayed.

Has been using the leaked firmware one, with (they called it) build 9.2.A.1.131. Just wondering what if Sony delays the update and somewhen they rolled out firmware with same build number as leaked one, just lol

That would not be the first time SONY pulled off something like that...
The "under investigation" has now been there for over 3 months...
- and nothing new yet...
It would in fact be really easy to "investigate" if or not the phones can handle the 4.4, SONY just have to decide on it or not...

Our device can handle 4.4 for sure,look how great runs OmniRom run.
It's like other phone.

What I think is that if Sony ended support for 12 phones and not for T, TX and V (2012 phones) then we will get 4.4. If not, maybe in updates page should say also "Latest & final version".
Is like you say, our device can handle 4.4.

there is updates getting pushed out today ,so hopfuly yours will be one of them ,kind regarde joe, yeah i had this update before it was published on there ,C6903 Singtel - SG has 108 update at the moment,so you might have to wait a bit longer for your 118 update,

Hopefully. But I won't be flashing it immediately if it does. I rely a lot on stock-based kernels. So i'll wait for either DooMKernel or F(X)TrinityUltimateKernel to be updated. Maybe those who already got the update could share with us any changes or improvements?

The kernel should be the same, I doubt a small update like this will have major kernel changes
When I get home I will update and install Doom's advanced stock kernel to gain root again.
I will let you know if it works, but I imagine it will be fine

No.. But Easy Root work just fine so you need to root it again..
BTW, I've posted latest FTF in main thread, it's from Vodafone DE.

Just checked PCC but it's not online for me yet! Now I wait.....

Been running this on my C6903 overnight, and boy is it hot. In fact my device was so hot too the touch that it was almost unbearable.
Because of this I've had to revert back to the '108' build. Is it just me, or is anybody else experiencing this?
Also, on every boot there is a notification relating to mobile data, is this specific to vodafone?
If anybody has another ftf aside from this German one, I would be extremely grateful if you can post it, so that I test and compare, thanks in advance.

Very strange, I finally got around to flashing this and I stayed on the same version, same kernel, same baseband.
Pccompanion said I was up to date now but nothing changed.

then you have to flash dualboot recovery and done
ALL works good but in settings it's show as Z3 model lol.

i don't know much about that firmware just found on their website and read about on some forums, hope some improvements is there like Sony said but need a few days to check the battery life

I hope its Z3 rom ported to Z2 because the Z3 has 100mAh lower battery in specs but better in software..

lol yes now i need o change in setting to Z2 cause its show's me Z3 and even i have to install Z3 driver to recognize ADB so looks like Z3 rom lol

For those who will try this Rom,you will lose all data if you don't backup it.

Always do back-up man , because it's worth too , and the dirty flash is always good to any rom you to install.
this rom will not delete your data also it's not ftf.
