remember that some will not only require the application itself but also the additional files that are added to the system, or how you will find in the package right away, "zip" and install via CWM and there is immediately an application and additional files
Best Regards from Team Blur

There is at the play store, I think. Search for "gingerbread keyboard" or something like this and hit "install" lol
If you can't find it tell me and I will upload it.

Aye, the Gingerbread keyboard is the one you are looking for.
However, if you can, definitely do try Smart keyboard pro. IMHO, for Xperia X8 that is the one I found to be most responsive.

is the stock android if you flash a rom without sense like cyanogen you will have it
Hey, that app ur looking for is called Widgetlocker, it can be found in the market.
gl
if you have Stock HTC ROM and root access, then you can just go to your "Root Explorer" app, and go to:
/system/app
and rename the 'HtcLockScreen.apk' and 'HtcLockScreen.odex' (you can just add a '1' at the end of both of them. i.e. 'HtcLockScreen.apk1')
reboot and there you have it, the original android unlock screen.
:::if you want it back, just delete the '1' at the end of the .apk and .odex files:::

a.i.type transparent and white keyboard HDPI

I bought this keyboard a.i type even though i have flex t9, swift key, swype, android standard, htc, and i actually find this the best as i always mistype alot of stuff on my phone, and unlike swiftkey it doesnt add "the" where ever it likes. It beeps when you get a spelling wrong and auto corrects, MAGIC!
I have gotten a bit bored of the stock skin, so decided to theme a little with some transparency, and subtle color changes.
Theres a market link to the app im talking about.

I have been talking with mayfield03 on here, and hes got me into looking at this last week, but anyway i thought i would share this with the rest of you. (thanks mayfield) apologies that it looks a bit rubbish.

HOW to install
1 download the file
Download
get your APK, ( i didnt want to give the apk here as that would be piracy)
extract your apk from /data/app (use root explorer to copy the file to your memory card)
use 7zip to open the APK on your desktop and then drop in the files which i have on my zip
download SIGNAPKTIC from the markey "stericcsons app"
sign the apk which we have edited.
https://market.android.com/details?...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zdGVyaWNzb24uc2lnbmFwa3RpYyJd
USE THE TEST KEY
Now run the signed apk, which should have been placed on the root of your memory card, it will install the app over the top of the old one, i used ASTRO to run this.
Done.
I may come back to this to enhance, we will see. Let me know what needs doing.
PART 2, White/Green skin
install the same way

[MOD] Google Now for ICS Tabs [P31XX] Maybe [51XX?]

I have Google Now on my SkyRocket, and decided I wanted it on my Gtab2 as well
So after alot of reading, and trying different combinations of APK's on my Tab, I finally got a perfectly working version of Google Now on GTab2 7" (P3113)
I'm pretty sure this will work on the different P31XX tabs, as well as the P51XX Tabs, but YMMV
I take ZERO credit for this mod, the work for this has been done by cajunflavoredbob and mikeyxda
All I did was install and test stuff until I had a working Google Now
Please visit the Original Thread for lots of good reading on this great Mod and remember to hit both cajunflavoredbob's and mikeyxda's "THANKS" button
What You Need
CWM
Stock Samsung ICS Rom (I'm Using Romwell V1.1 [ICS 4.0.4])
Offline/Online Package (the one i'm using, and supposedly less laggy)
Online Only Package (never tried it, but takes up less space)
M7 Velvel APK Update
What to do
Save Either the Offline / M7 Update OR the Online / M7 Update Combo to your SD Card
Reboot into Recovery
Install the Offline/Online Package
Install the M7 Velvet Update
Clear Cache
Reboot
If you are Interested, You can Check out Google Now Commands you can use which have been compiled by Killer-B (Don't Forget to Thank Him Too )
Note: This WILL replace your "Voice Search", but you now have "Google Now", who cares about voice search

[PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD] [APP]Android 4.2 Keyboard into XOOM

Hello Xoomers,
Here I am going to provide you with Android 4.2 Keyboard ported to XOOM which has a very nice feature: Swype typing
Gesture and swype typing is present in this keyboard.
Note: Since currently I am on CNA ROM, I was able to test it successfully on CNA ROM but I believe it should work the same on any other ROM as long as the updater script takes care of installing the new app with its libs, removing the old one.
How to use swype typing?
1) lets say you wanna type the workd "Android".
2) just swype your finger on the letters [a, n, d, r, o, i, d] in a raw.
3) you will see the word has been typed already.
Pre-Requisites:
Rooted XOOM
Custom Recovery, TWRP advised.
How to use?
Download the flashable zip from the download section.
Place it in your internal or external SDCARD.
Boot into Recovery.
Choose the zip.
Flash it.
Reboot.
PINGO...

Great work, going test soon
BTW, the swype worked so well that you type "word" as workd lol... Just kidding, but anyway, I think it's a nice idea fix it
"This Story Ends Where It Began"
GUYS,
I am sorry, I just came to know that this keyboard has been ported already by other teams. It is my bad that I didn't search before I posted.
All what I did is that I got my hands on 4.2 ROM and tried to port it to XOOM. So, I think I am going to ask the Moderator to close this thread.
Thanks,
dont see download link??

[APP] MotoInfo

Well, few days ago I was bored, so I decided to develop this very simple app which can be an altenative to that "Hardware information" section under "About device" you can find in stock rom.
There also is an option ("Dump all the properties!") which makes a file called "getprop.txt" which lists device's properties; useful to developers when they have to bring up a device tree for building custom roms for a new device or when they have to add the support for a new variant of that device. You can find this file under /sdcard/Android/data/org.alberto97.motoinfo/files/getprop.txt (I have choosen this path because it doesn't need root access and it is always availaible).
This app should work on every Moto/Motorola device (It works well on my 1st and 3rd Moto g).
N.B.: "Manufacture Date" field is available only on those roms which include this commit. Else if you have root access, you can see it from /proc/config/date/ascii. Still not sure why Motorola took another longer (and not working) way in stock rom.
