OK, this may be a stupid question and I apologize in advance but how do you get adobe flash to work on the experia z? I have the APK file for the latest version of flash and it has installed properly but I don't see any settings within chrome to enable plugins..? Am I missing something?
Chrome has no flash support.
Dolphin withdrew it also.
Try Boat browser.
Since Xperia Z runs Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean),you may need to install the flash player manually.
Flash works with Firefox browser.

I did but it does nothing to the chrome browser.
AW: Adobe Flash with Chrome..?
Never think your question is stupid ^^
Adobe not longer support Flash Player on Jelly Bean / Devices which doesn't had Flash pre installed. But there is a leaked apk, you can find it on Google and install it easily without root.

Yea, I have the leaked APK. I used it on the droid DNA when I was trying it out and it worked fine and enabled flash and the DNA has jellybean 4.1. Not sure if the droid DNA was using chrome as the default browser or not. I wanna say no. Anyway, I did try the same thing with the experia Z and it does NOT turn on flash on google chrome. It does work with firefox thou. Thanks again all.

I have been using gingerbread still for the sole purpose of flash support. Is flash working on ICS for us? I spent an hour looking on google and didn't find much. Some devices work, like asus transformer. Some said on cm9 it works.
I've already upgraded to ics and downgraded back once, there was no way to make it work then. when ics first officially came out for us tho. German release.

If your on ics just download in google play adobe flash player.
Flash is fully supported until jelly bean. Even then if you are on cm9 with flash installed and upgrade to CM10 without wiping, flash will remain and work correctly in cm10

Yes, all works, so what I understand Adobe is saying is there will be no updates or fixes, but you can still use without problems, until the time some new OS conflict makes it not work anymore. Then it is over.

Can you confirm that flash content plays fine on ICS in different browsers? (Stock,Opera,FireFox,Chrome,Dolphin HD)
I haven't found much discussion on this topic except for that people seem to have problem with adobe flash support after upgrading to ICS.
Flash...
Too bad adobe has decided to support on JB.
I have written this few times on other thread. But i m going to write again though.
Adobe has stopped its support for mobile device.
And adobe has even removed the flash app on google play since 15 or 16 august.
So, in theory, u won't be able to find adobe flash on google play.
Nevertheless, if u have installed it before u update to JB, flash player might still able to run.
And if u want to try after install JB, and u have the apk file for flash player, it might be able to run.
What adobe has decided is only to stop its support. Means no more update on flash player on mobile devices like android. Adobe will only concentrate on pc and laptop for its flash player.
Remember....
Google is our best friend. And it can give whatever u want.

After updating my Note (India) to ICS 4.04 I noticed that flash no longer works in the stock browser. It is not even available in the PlayShop anymore.
I tried installing other browers too but non of them show the option to enable flash plug-in in their settings. (Have attached a screenshot of the settings page for your reference).
So how do we view flash based websites and flash video on ICS 4.04?
Any help with this issue would be most appreciated.

Why does flash not work on Galaxy Note?? I am using Note myself and its on Android 4.0.4, and flash works fine. See the screen shots.
But i do remember one thing while i was updating my Note from gingerbread to ICS. I got my Note updated to ICS but could not find SNote app in it, later I have factory reset my phone and then rebooted it. Then rather than booting automatically, it again went to Update mode and started instaling something. When my phone was ready with ICS, i got the SNote app. Try factory resetting and rebooting ur phone after backing up all the imp data, like pics, music, vids, contacts, apps(apk files) etc etc. Hope this works.

Did you get it to work after a reset? I am curious to find out as there is not much discussion out there with people confirming flash to work fine on ICS. (I am wondering if the performance is similiar or actually worse? Is hardware acceleration working on the Note with ICS for flash?) Many people seem to have problem with flash content after upgrading to ICS...

Hi,
I needed to see some website that have Flash, and I found that my LG4X doesn't have flash player installed. I tried to install from Play Store, but it is not listed. I read that the Flash is not supported any more on 4.1 and 4.2 but should be available for older versions like 4.0, 2.3...
Does someone knows why it's not listed? From what I can see we have Android 4.0.3, in this it should work (on my Samsung Galaxy S1, were I have also Android 4.0.3 I can see flash player in Play Store).
Thanks

Play Store and Adobe flash player are not sharing same planet for some time now...latest update is couple days old...read...read more...and do some more reading before posting, is it hard to do such big effort to look two posts above yours and find latest update. I don´t think so, but still maybe it is?!?!
I don't know why but when I type adobe flash in market the app doesn't come and more over there is no adobe flash player available in play store. I dont know whether it's in my country or in other countries.I swear in my country when I go to play store and type adobe flash player 11 I get no results. But I know we can get it through external links.

Did you read the previous posts? Flash player can't be downloaded from Play Store any more, you'll have to install it manually (from Adobe download site posted 2 posts ago) or via a 3rd party app store (like AppBrain). If you have done so, you can still upgrade it through Google Play Store.
This is how you can download adobe directly from market click on this link

Is there a way to install Stock ICS/JB Browser (which is faster and supports Flash Player) and later Flash Player for it(or all in one package)?

You can download flash player from any page (can not playstore) and you can download firefox to use
You can find last version of Flash Player as an .apk at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
As for browser, on JB the built in browser, Boat Browser and Firefox support it by default, Dolphin can be set to use it.
Lower than JB you can use whatever browser you want.
For me Flash works reasonably well under Jelly Bean browser. I was even able to play flash games like Pet Rescue Saga.
