[SHW-M240S] Korean Galaxy Ace (here)

Please put here anything about the Korean version of the Galaxy Ace.

i have a korean version of galaxy ace shw m240s currenty need help installing a custom rom.unable to find any,also i upgraded to 2.3.6. now i cant root it with superclick

I want to root my galaxy ace SHW-M240s. I tried looking on the internet, but i couldn't find it how. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Hi I have samsung galaxy ace shw-m240s korean. i just used to update a zipped file on my samsung and after I rebooted my phone it doesn't turn on anymore. Evern recovery or download mode. Nothing happens. Is there any solutions? Please instruct me. Thank You

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830-D Help.

Hi, first off im a noob when it comes to this stuff so try to be patient with me
I recently rooted my SGAce S5830-D And put CWM on it, everything went fine.
Then I went to flash it to ICS 4.0.3 And the installation aborted and I soft bricked my phone >.>
I just flashed it back to Gingerbread 2.3.4 and I was wondering.
Is there a difference between Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 and the S5830D in terms of what you flash it with?
Id rather not brick my phone again so I came here to make sure.
Also, if you could provide a link to a ROM that would work for my model that you know works 100% please do would be
very helpful, thanks in advance.

Galaxy Ace S5830 and S5830-D are very different models. You cant (and should not ) install S5830 ROM's on your phone. It will get brciked again.

Go to sammobile.com and search for your phone, then select the rom of your choice. Note: this is regarding stock roms

You can try the custom ROMs from the development threads.. You can upgrade to android 4.0, 4.1, 4.2.. You cannot directly upgrade to higher versions from gingerbread as samsung will not provide updates to galaxy ace.. But this will void your warranty, so upgrade at your own risk and only if you are sure of what you are doing..

Galaxy ace won't be updated further than gingerbread so going to sammobile is a waste of time..

AW: Help in androd
I can recommend Wayland's CM 10.1 ROM. It is a beta, but really good.
(It is Android 4.2.1 JellyBean.)

I have already install MIUI V5 Rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-mini/development/rom-miuiv5-4-10-21-gt-i8190-t2990602/post57890203#post57890203 into my S3 Mini GT-18190N.
After that, i repair back to Samsung Stock Firmware and get lost its 'samsung galaxy s3 mini model logo'.

Flash your current firmware via Odin3. You can get stock firmwares from : sammobile.com/firmwares
This should fix the problem.

Why do you install I8190L Firmware when you have an I8190 device?
-Crazy
