Xperia Z lens distorted camera

have you ever noticed the distortion at xperia z pictures from camera?
in horizontal position the camera take pictures wheres de left and right sides of the picture are streched or pulled out!, if you take a pic with a row of people, the first and last person looks so fat and distorted
is there any app to correct this issue? any "Lens correction" app or true lens camera app?

I've observed this issue at my ZL too but only if I set the camera on automatic and 16:9 ratio.

Hot to improve Camera quality of Z camera?
Some people said Z1 camera mod will improved the quality of camera, but I have bad experience with Z1.
So Z1 camera fail
Cyber shot camera not working on 4.2.2
Stock Camera is okay
But tell how to improve?

I feel that the hardware is not to be blamed here...
The software here is at fault..
The superior auto mode is not so superior in its job(it's ok if you want to capture something real-quick)... But if you want the best from the hardware you'll have to turn to manual controls...(Camera FV-5 is the best app I know for that)
Jpeg compression is just too much here...thus we can see the lack of detail in some photos(macro)
To get the best of the camera,My suggestions are as follows :-
If you like the stock camera app... 1)Turn off superior auto mode... Switch to manual mode
2) set the ISO at 200 (max) for daylight photography,,,,400 for twilight
3) HDR off
4) metering mode set to average
And if you still want better results:
1) install Camera FV-5 (full version support developer )
2) go to settings -> photo encoding settings -> file format -> set it to PNG ( it takes some seriously huge pics (15 mb..)
3) now apply all the manual controls mentioned above
If you think what difference does the above methods do to the quality of the photos... Take a photo with normal method (superior auto) and then manual method... And then compare..

Best mod for camera

Hello, I use a lot the camera on my Z3c. Can someone tell me what's the best mod to improve the camera? I'm rooted on LP .232

Im using the Phone right now, so cant add links, try to find the mod v4 camera, and then flash the Xperia z5 camera libs, It really improved photo quality and cando Super Auto 20mp and HDR 20mp in manual Mode.

Lost DRM keys and better low light quality?

I would like to ask you to compare low light camera results between Sony camera and Open Camera.
I have the impression that the green and purple spickles are much less using Open Camera, both in 20.66 MP and in 8.28 MP
File size of Open Camera is 1/3 from Sony Camera file size

First of all.... Clean your keyboard.
And if you are happy with the results... Use the one you like!

Unlocking means is a decrease in camera quality since you lose all DRM Rights to Sony's post processing algorithms. You could try different camera apps with slight differences but it certainly won't beat the Camera of a Z3C with a locked bootloader. The Green and Violet Spickles will be visible if the scenery is dark
