If you set up a reboot command from Tasker, it shuts down immediately, without unmounting anything. See if you can set up a Shutdown command from Tasker.
You could use this:

If you set your phone into airplane mode there is a bug that will restart the phone about 8 hours later. then, you are forced to enter your pin again after turning airplane mode off.
I think you could use either tasker or settings profiles, both paid apps in market. Settings profiles has a free lite version to try as well.

Let me know if you get tasker to work, you will also have to get locale and the locale execute plugin since tasker actually doesn't have a reboot option. I've got everything necessary but couldn't get it to work.

Hi,
My 4x has an annoying problem, but it isn't just this phone as this is a replacement of may first one which developed a fault after 2 weeks and that had same problem too.
I'm on UK v10h. Every now and the when I restart my phone, my personal ringtone saved on my micro sd gets reset to default system tone. The ringtone is in root folder of my micro SD card in folder named "ringtone," but this is a weird problem I never had on my xperia arc.
Also, again randomly but very annoyingly the "auto brightness" gets turned off and I either have a super bright screen or a very dim one, and I have to go into settings and select it again.
Lastly, when phone starts up, it takes an age for media scanning finish, I've installed media scan app and it does a good job, but for initial startup it still takes ages.
Anyone else gave similar problems?

The media scanning seems like a normal process since it does take forever. As on the ring tone u might have to put it on the phone instead the sd card or wait for the media scan to finish and see if it still defaults it.

My Xperia t is working perfectly but at some times when I press lock button, its not responding, screen is not unlocking... Then I Need to long press the power button and volume up button... Then it's working perfectly.....
Help me what to do?

I'm not 100% certain with what you've given here.
1) does it do this from an overnight stage?
2) how long is it asleep before this happens?
3) what ROM are you on?

It's running ICS firmware-7.0.A.3.195
Not yet rooted,
Not yet flashed,
Not any special kernel,
Im not experiencing this problem due to over night usage.... It's working perfectly for 2 hrs or 3hrs or 4 hrs also but this last time I locked t screen after 5minutes of net usage... It was not responding after two minutes! After reboot its working fine....so far I have rebooted 4 times bcoz of screen not responding.

I have the same problem and I'm thinking of sending it back to the customer service. It' s very annoying, it happens randomly and i'm forced to do a soft reboot.. Has anyone have a solution or should I send it?
Try repairing it with Pc companion. If the problems still occurs than I would send it back.

I unrooted my Z1 for several reasons, but for the time being, mainly was so I could use an app called power schedule. When I set a time to turn off, the app works fine, but a permission pop up comes up which stops my phone turning off automatically. Is there anyway to turn off this pop up off or grant permission to allow the app to function? (I unrooted using vroot)

Hello, I have a small problem. Whenever my device sleeps, I found out that the time doesnt update, and just updates when I wake it up again. This causes my timer apps to miss since the system time "freezes" whenever the device sleeps. Can anyone help me please? Thanks
