Is every powerbank compatible with note 2? - Galaxy Note II Accessories

Just got myself a mini powerbank for 3000 mah. However when i plug it in note 2 charging icon appears for about a minute and then it doesn't charge i was thinking the problem is in the powerbank so i got it replaced but it is exactly the same problem, Google did not give me any satisfactory answer
Any thoughts?

[Q] Using Nokia E7 charger with Samsung Focus

Hello guys,
I'd like to know if anyone here has experience of using a different brand charger to charge Foccus.
I have a Nokia E7 which comes with 1200ma microUSB charger. The one which comes with Focus is 700ma.
Since the battery of Focus is 1500ma rating, I guess there shouldn't be any issues?
Also, charging Focus via it's own charger takes too long to charge. So, using a 1200ma charger will charge it faster as well. Also, it's be far more easy to only plug one charger on power outlet.
Just want to be sure if anyone else has already tried non-Samsung charger with Focus, or any other recommendations / suggestions, before I plug my Focus with Nokia charger.
Thanks,
// chall3ng3r //
I've used a bunch of different methods to charge my Focus.
The supplied wall charger, a couple different car chargers, a motorola, LG, and Uniden wall charger, several USB ports on various computers...
So far, no magic smoke has escaped...
Hi,
Thanks for your reply and giving me some idea to try our the Nokia charger with my Focus.
As soon as I read your reply, I put my Focus on charge, and it's more than 20 mins without any smoke
I guess it'll be just fine
Thanks again.

I've also used and successfully swapped chargers for:
Omnia 2
Omnia 7
LG E900
Focus
Any charger/phone combo worked, with no issue.
Hello guys,
Are you still charging with other chargers? , have you gotten any issues yet?,
Please comment cuz I really bored to wait the slow and annoying charging of my standart package.

I also bought from ebay one additional battery and a battery charger (charges the battery directly). Works perfectly. (If interested, search "BATTERY USB CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i9000").
With 2 batteries you don't need to wait for a charge/leave the phone to charge. I just leave the other battery to charge and swap it when the one in the phone is low. Besides, you have a backup this way too.
I'm charging with microUSB Nokia charger, Nexus One charger, and even iPhone charger with microUSB cable. There is no issue.
I'm using the charger from a Galaxy Ace and no issues.
I have used LG optimus charger and iPad charger (Which comes with 2100 ma output) no issues. But none of these changed or reduced the charging duration (including iPad's!!!)... It is taking 2.5 to 3 hours to completely charge... USB ports output is generally 300ma-500ma, so definitely not recommended!!

Does quick charger work for slow charging?

Just got one used nexus 6 from ebay, but I found it charges very slow and the ampere shows the charging current is only about 200 ma. I think there must be some problems with the hardware, but I do not have a quick charger and was charging with my normal charger. Can anyone tell me will it help if I buy a quick charger now?

The Google quick charger (2500mA) can boost/quick charge by raising the voltage to 9 or 12 volt.
That boost works only with compatible chargers and when the battery is charged below 70%.
A good way of charging is wireless. Every usb charger and a cheap QIpad will work.

Quick charge 3.0

Hey guys. Just got my mi max 2 with the xiaomi charger but only getting around 1450mAh a hour.. Nowhere near dash charge from one plus 3t (3600mAh).
I use ampere app to measure.. I also tried Aukey certified QC 3.0 charger but also not getting anywhere near 3000 mAh
What charger do you use to achieve quick charge?
I've bought a Anker power port anr cable. I'll test it out soon...
But the 2.5 hour charge with the original charger isn't that. I mean, with such a big battery could of been longer.

Mi Mix Factory Charger/Type C USB Question/Issue

Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I made a thread about my Mi Mix NOT detecting on any PC despite trying different Type C usb cords and the factory one.
I've never really timed how long it takes to charge my phone and recently I downloaded this Ampere app that measures the voltage and mah.
My Mix was at 40% and I plugged it in and left it in for 20 min and checked the app. It said something like 3.7 voltage and charging at 120mah minimum and 190mah maximum.
From what I'm reading, thats really bad.
So I plugged my phone in with an Anker Type C usb and a charging block from an LG 5.
Phone was now charging at 1600mah ish.
I'm assuming there is an issue with either my charging equipment AND / OR the charging port of my Mix. I've already ordered a new charging port from aliexpress 3+ weeks ago because of my PC unrecognized issue.
Anyway I just want to confirm that getting 120mah- 190mah on the stock charger is NOT normal?
I've ordered this https://www.amazon.ca/AUKEY-Charger-Samsung-Qualcomm-Certified/dp/B00RJO6AHM
and another Anker Type C cord to replace.

I don't have it with me, but I think the original Chinese charger that comes with the Mix is a 2.5A/5V one.
I've never used it, don't trust the Chinese chargers, rather have used an original Xiaomi EU approved (CE marked) charger that came with a Redmi Note 4.
That charger is "only" 2.0A/5V, so you don't get any "fast charging". But the Mix will still get fully charged in max 3 hours, which is fine for me.
And I figure the battery will last longer, it gets quite hot when charging at higher rates.
I know because I tested on a Mi Note 2 which came with a 3.0A EU approved charger. That charger works fine, really fast, and I trust it from a safety point of view - much heavier and thicker than the Chinese one.
But I charge the Note 2 with the 2.0A charger also, to spare the battery.
Normal charging current is 1500mA and up, depending on the chargers capacity. It will be less towards the end of the charging cycle, when the battery is nearly full, and sometimes also in the beginning, for some reason.
Don't understand why, never figured that out.

well it sounds like my factory charger is messed. 190ma when it should be getting at least 1000ma. I hope that the Aukey charger I ordered is safe for it, I've done some reading with other xiaomi phone owners and they've purchased it but I haven't seen a Mi mix owner review it. It says its CE approved.

Aukey has a good reputation, but I prefer the Xiaomi original EU approved chargers, just because they are "Xiaomi". (and I am located in the EU, of course.)
There "might" be some sort of intelligent interface built in that especially suits the Xiaomi phones.
No particular reason to believe so, just color me superstitious.

i understand you. It is typically safer to always go with factory rather than aftermarket. But in my case, my phone is not charging correctly as I'm only seeing 190ma on the amp meter.:crying:

That can and does happen on certain custom ROMs and rapid charge doesn't kick in all the time. I can also say I had this issue on lg g5 and the charger proved to faulty on this occasion. So try the new port with old charger see how it goes. If no improvement try a different charger, the ones that come with the phone are very good. IMO

the new charger and cord are getting me fast charge now!
Bought a CHOETECH 50W 6-Port Desktop Charger last year and attached it to my bedside table; one of the best purchases I've ever made; quickcharge 3 on two ports and one power adapter in place of the 3 or 4 individual chargers I used to have. Bargain.

Question Tab S8 Ultra constant popups when charging.

I bought a HEYMIX 45W GaN PD Wall Charger, 30W USB C Fast Charger, Max48W Dual-Port Quick Charger AU Plug, Compatible with Galaxy S21/S20/10, iPhone 13/12 Pro Ma (thats a mouthful) for this tablet but i have an annoying issue since I started using it. I have constant popups showing the charge %
I have tried a couple different cords. I thought it might have been Gauge Battery Widget so I installed Battery Reborn and no difference
Is there anyone else with this issue that can help please.
Many thanks in advance
Same thing used to happen to me on my Tab S7+ when connecting to a non Samsung charger. Try the original charger or a high wattage charger. On my Tab S8 Ultra I have no issues when charging with a 65watt Oneplus charger.

To clarify - there is no "original charger". Samsung doesn't include chargers anymore. I suppose you could mean one that Samsung sells that's aimed at using with this tablet, but wow they're expensive and limited (one USB-C port) for what they are. Looks like Samsung is out of stock of both colors - no idea if you can find them elsewhere.
I haven't been actively using my Tab S8 Ultra enough at the same time as charging it so I don't know if I would experience the same thing. I do have the recent Anker 3-port 100-watt charger for when I have to charge fast (at 45-watts), but I haven't had a need to do that yet.
Thanks for that, the company I bought my charger from sent out a 65w charger and it works great
