Hey guys, while I was typing a text mgs to my other half, the app crashed and since then it crashes every time I try to select her messages. It's fine for other messages, just hers.
Anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong.
Does anyone have the messaging apk. I'd like to try reinstalling it.

Really makes no sense to work normal for everyone beside a specific person.... Got no solution here.
Maybe a dumb question, but have you tried restarting your phone already?

Yeah tried that and the soft reset. No joy.
Oh well, I just deleted her conversation completely and now it's working again.
Maybe the Z wants to be the only one in your life lol. Having said that, something similar happened on my S too with her messages but that was to do with the fact that there were just so many messages from her in there. She must text me like 50 times a day. Women eh!

after two days use.I have found two problem 1 each time when I make group chat with friends it forclosed.2 I just find out tonight you can see the sensor on the up right cornor of phone it blinking while on phone call..... I don't know this is normal or not....anyone who have incredible s can you confirm this?? if only me have that issue what can I do

My sis has bought an incredible S last saturday so 6 days ago. While these 3 days she had 3 random reboots of the device. Once it was in the mid of the day, today it was during the night (it was charging) and no its not because the battery was low. So does anyone know what the problem is?

After about 10 days playing arround, my phone did not reboot or crash. not even ones.
I really dont care about dualcore becouse this thing runs like a dream. Really looking forward to the upcomming android/sense update.
Since we don't have logs or anything no we don't.
Just like every ROM: probably a faulty app. Factory reset and only use the stock apps for a day or 2. If it still persists you can complain @ HTC with no problems install some apps and repeat. The usual debug process.

You know that really nice solid click the screen makes when you open the keyboard? Well, I'm on my third Droid 3 now, and every single one, after two weeks, the sound gets quieter and quiter, until it's complete mush upon opening the keyboard. My friend has had his Droid 3 for about the same time, and doesn't have this issue. Has anyone else had it? Does anyone know of a possible fix somehow? I know it's silly, but I'm picky haha!
I have not had any problems with mine, maybe u push it up to hard.

Ha! Well, breaking in new shoes is supposed to make the experience better, not worse.
You made me curious, so I just tried this and it clicked fine for me...
Been using it quite a lot the last month too!
after few days looking iv managed to work out how to close apps
you have to you double tap the home key and it opens recent apps used in a page with all apps in boxes
to close them just slide the box up and it closes the app
You just told everyone to do some thing everyone already knew how to do.

So yours has been that way since you purchased it? Just trying to rule things out. Im running Viper Rom and Elemental X kernel, but i dont think that has anything to do with it. I was able to find mention of the issue before the One was even released.
Have you been able to uncover anything?
Ill try to research it more later, im running on no sleep so my mind is a bit too clouded to make sense to anything lol

i honestly started rooting and rom-ing mine from the day i got it. i don't think i used chrome before installing my first ROM.
with that said, i've used ARHD and trickdroid. both don't allow me to trace in google chrome.
Yesterday my phone's volume up stopped working so I googled to see if there was a fix. Some had suggested unticking fast start up and rebooting didn't work tried soft reset didn't work then later it just started working. So tried it again tonight and it's not working again, so does anyone else know if it's software or hardware or any suggestions of what to do thanks.

Think it might be hardware because if you shake it it normally starts working again dreading having to send off for repair been reading about some real horror story's .

How about you try the built in diagnostics: in dialer type *#*#3424#*#* then select "Button Test" and run it.

Yes going to try it but would that tell me anything useful apart from there's a problem with it never used it before.

I guess if it fails the button press, then it's most likely a hardware fault, and not much you can do to fix it
It should still be under warranty so will take it back next week hopefully they can fix it but dreading handing it over incase it comes back in worse shape then when it went.

If anyone reads this from the UK what's the best way to send phone off for warranty repair through shop where i got it from phones4u or HTC UK or HTC international need some advice before it goes on it's journey for repair. Also time frames of how long it normally takes would be nice. Iam hoping they tell me to send it somewhere locally for repair but doubt it very much, had a Nokia years ago wich went to a local place for repair but don't think they do that now.
