Guys i bought i new computer it has Windows 7x64, and i've installed the latest flashtool, installed the drivers in it. In flashtool the device is recognized, but when i try to flash a kernel it says USB device is not recognized or flashtool will start to flash and stops at checking header... I've installed all the drivers and i don't know what to do.
Any help is appreciated.

It occured to you to edit the title and put Solved. It didn't occur to you to write up how you solved your issue.
This would be helpful for others in the future with the same issue.
Cheers
...
Set in compatibility mode for windows XP. If you have the original Windows 7 then you can have problems, too, so I - I went back to XP ... on Win 7 was so that I could connect the phone only once, the second time he did not detect it in flash mode. helped restart the PC.
its okay dude!
my win7 is x64 too..
reinstall all drivers include gordons gates and flashtool driver (C:flashtool\drivers)
dont forget to running the FlashTool64.exe ! not the flashtool.exe
- run as administrator -

gordon's gate, X8 driver, driver in the flashtool folder?
Try just connecting your phone once normally with p.c and pc companion then the drivers might get installed..

Install PC companion and connect at least once time the device with that

Install gordon gates driver just to be sure that they are installed properly
OR
Repair your phone through PC companion or Sony Update Service
And try again the whole steps.
If they don't work try some older versions of SuperOneClick.

It's really hard to help someone who REFUSES to read..
If you don't even know what gordon gate drivers are, this is proof that you have read nothing at all..
My advise is to forget rooting your phone and return to default SE software..
You cannot be helped without doing the minimum of work yourself.. XDA and it's members are not here to babysit you.

Press winkey+C>config>change config>general>Advanced Initicialization;
It'll reboot. then select "disable bla bla bla signatura driver.
Then install flashtool again and the drivers.
I don't remember all path, it's in somewhere in the forum. If you're in a hurry, you can search it. Otherwise, wait till I get home
**Just remembered now: winkey+c>change pc settings>general>advanced startup>restart now>troubleshoot>advanced options>startup setting>restart>press 7 and install flashtool and the drivers again. Shoul be work
I tried that the drivers installed successfully but whenever I connect the device with flash or fastboot mod I get this message
Sent from my C5303 using xda premium
In Windows 8 I didn't get this message it's like Windows 8.1 isn't recognizing the device & my device is automatically rebooting if it was in fastbootmode or flashmod when I get this message

tried to connect in fastboot while in "disable driver signature enforcement mode"?
It happened to me, and I did it. Works here.
I think there is no way to get flashtool working on 8.1, that's why I'm still on 8. I wish I could "downgrade" my VAIO to Windows 7

have u tried other USB port ?
Drivers installed properly?
Remove Sonymobile drivers and reinstall them.
This should do the trick. I also advice you to restore your device on a Windows 7 machine. I am unable to restore mine on my Windows 8.1 machine and I have to use the one from my sister to restore my device.
Sounds like you are using Windows 8/8,1
Try again on a Windows 7 machine.

Windows 8 and 8.1 have problematic drivers. I suggest you use windows 7 to flash a stock ftf

Ohhhhh is there any way to do it?
Or need to restore windows 7?!
There is a way. Download stock FTF, install flashtool on a Windows 7 device and restore.
Windows 8/8.1 got problems with the drivers. These problems cause connection issues with your Xperia SP and Flashtool

On flashtool official download site, go to FAQ, it has instruction on how to install drivers on Windows 8.
http://www.flashtool.net/disabledrivers.php
*However, I tried it myself, but wasn't able to get it to work. (most likely because of my AMD USB filter driver problem)
You can check it out and try.
Are you using Windows 8.1 64bit? if that is the case, I can help...I have a solution. but first I have to go back to my home. the main thing is you have to uninstall USB driver from Microsoft and install modified intel driver for this purpose...

YUp! But im not home!
I will be there for 20 days and i need phone -.-!
Alright lets do the following things:
- Remove Flashtool and its drivers
- Reboot pc
- Follow this to install Flashtool and the drivers correct: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095087 (only the drivers required for Flashmode and Fastboot)
- Reboot again
- Connect phone in Flashmode (dont open flashtool) and let it install the drivers
- Reboot again
- Connect phone in Fastboot (dont open flashtool) and let it install the drivers
- Reboot (last time) again
- After reboot, open Flashtool and connect phone in flashmode (dont do anything) and wait a few minutes. Via the log of Flashtool you should be able to see if the phone is connected properly and if the phone stays connected
- Try to flash a Stock ROM and see what happends
If above fails then you can try to use compatible mode (flashtool.exe > Rightmouse button > Properties > Compatible mode > Windows 7)
