Help I cannot put download mode

I cannot access download mode in Gt-s5830M is series M cannot put download mode ,
only others series i can get download mode
help mee how , i like change firmware

When you press, volume Dowm + menu + power button, what does the phone do?? just restarts??
It should go to download mode using this combo....

Why don't u flash a rom for galaxy ace m srries which has an extended power menu like cynogemod 7? (Check compatibility as gt5830 is different from gt5830m. ) then u can enter download mode thru it????

Is this the first time you went for a firmware change, and have u tried the key combo for download mode?????????

Does not work:
Recovery mode, download mode!
Does anyone know how to do?

For S5830M is the same to S5830C :
Recovery: Home + Volume Up + Power
Download: Volume Down + Volume Up + Power

Maybe your locked phones to your telco, so you need to unlock the bootloader.

ADB always works, try using it to boot into download mode.

You could try a USB jig

i tried , dont get download mode , and the other model non N i get.

i get it download mode but i cannot flash with odin dont show Com coonect :S is incompatible , only odin 1.83 and 1.85 show com connect but dont have pit of 5830 how flash this cell T.T

dampit i got this s5830i can connect to 1.83/1.84/1.85 version,but this model only accept ops file and not pit file.
whats wrong was it,damp it

Use Odin Multi Downloader 4.42 (Just google it, a massive page of filecrop will come up)
Right, This is the bit im unsure about. You will need Cooper.ops for Odin to Flash. But as the M Series it may be a different one.

i have an galaxy ace gt-s5830i and i want to flash middle east rom to get arabic but i can't acces download mode. what i have to do?
i have middle east files for galaxy ace gt-s5830 and my mobile is galaxy ace gt-s5830i will that brick my mobile if i flash that files?
but i can't get download mode i hold volyme down and home button and power button.

Download Mode: Volume Up, Volume Down, Power.
Recovery Mode: Volume Up, Home, Power.
You probably want recovery mode, not download mode.

No.
If, however, your phone is S5830I and you use files from the S5830, then yes.

Download your required stock ROM from sammobile.com, but you'll have to convert it to multi-package firmware before you can go to download mode (volup+voldown+power) and flash it via Odin. Here is the complete guide by Rafael: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156

Galaxy Ace Problem

Hello,
I have a problem with the Galaxy Ace S5830i.
When I turn on the phone, a black rectangle appears in the center of the screen. It appears in about 20 seconds. Then the phone keeps restarting itself. The phone is not rooted.
Please help!

More explanation please...what did you do before this?

rest factory settings
turn off your phone, then hold down home button and power button, after that chose from the recovery menu wipe data/reset factory settings ..good luck

[Q] Ace S5830M boot loop

So today i was playing one of my apps on my galaxy ace and then all of a sudden my phone froze, shuts down, and goes in to a boot loop. I have never rooted my phone and i don't understand anything about roms and flashing. Will someone please help me.

You will loose all your data, apps, contacts, ALL.
1.- Power off your phone completely.
2.- Boot it, and while you press the power button, hold the menu button (middle one) until you get to a blue menu.
3.- Wipe data/facotry reset
4.- Wipe cache
5.- Reboot

I have tried that but a blue menu doesn't appear. I'm not sure if i'm doing this right or my phone is messed up.

I tried this and nothing happen

Try to do volume up and down + home + power button
If that still doesnt work then u may have to take it to service centre as it is not ur fault and u have also never rooted it

I am new at installing roms/cwm/download modes :silly:

I also used to get confused relating to opening download mode and recovery mode.
