Then I think you need to check your apps, there could be one with settings, loke some allinone tools that disable radios or something while asleep.
Only other thing I can think off is possibly fast dormancy, or your modem. First is tricky, second did you have same modem on all roms? Not sure if thats it though
Amigo, gracias por responder. Yo creo que es mas con el WiFi el problema.
Si, siempre use el mismo modem en mi casa, pero que confoguracion puede ser?
Y las aplicaciones que utilizo, ninguna es un task killer, o al estilo. :/

Thanks for answer. I think that its with the WiFi the problem.
Yes, I always used the same modem in my house. But what setting could be?
And I don't use any aplication like a task killer, or similar.

XD hahahhh. I don't know, I just send messages to friends of Whatsapp. Then, I lock the phone, and they answer me at minute, but the notification comes 10 minutes late or when I unlock the phone.
But wait, I just test with my dad's cell phone and is exactly the same. He has the Xperia S.
Maybe it's the wireless router, but what can it be?
Moved to Q&A
did you change the CPU-clock, when your Phone turns to deep sleep?
No, dude. It's all for default. I only change the rom a couple of times
havent checked back in a while, anyways, if you dont have it on non wifi network, i would check you internet traffic on your wifi, if your not using torrents or other bandwidth eaters. If thats not the case, or just do it anyway, flash your wifi with latest firmware, reset it and change your password to more secure one. You might have freeloaders hogging your bandwidth.
your device has a modem, some better then others, considering the other photos ne has it also, it might be something with your home network, or country if you have it on both networks. In that case you can try contacting the companies, as long as you eliminated all else.
A verry verry longshot, but maybe fast dormancy, but thats a longshot.

This is about all the data connection through the MOBILE provider, so not WIFI.
It is after x time when the phone is on. Maybe it is GPS related.
But bottomnline: the icon with the H or the E(dge) is there and it is even flashing for data, however every app stats there is no connection to the network.
After a reboot all is fine.

I am using cyanogens latest with one of pershoots latest, but other kernels show the same behaviour.
My guess is that everyone has this problem? Is this a bug somewhere?

Oh, ok, I should trust you. If you hadn't told me to trust you, I wouldn't have, but now that you did tell me, I do.
I think it's a software issue, as do many other people. Never had this problem with tmobile on any other phone.
Oh, I almost forgot: trust me.
Does anyone here notice it seems to get lost after leaving a wifi connection? Like this bug?

really a bug ?
ok guys, I am completely in a stock 2.1 rom .. no mods whatsoever and not rooted as well .. to get this problem, use wi-fi for a while(5mins example) and then disable it .. then use ur gprs/edge and see if it works.. the small E logo will show and the upstream arrow will glow white but downstream arrow will stay dark gray.. both should glow white when accessing the net but it doesn't after using wi fi .. this is really pissing me off having to restart my phone everytime this happens and I use both wi fi and gprs for everyday use .. can someone check to see if this problem is persistent ? thanks ..
Juicedefender is the cause
Ok, I figured out what was causing these problems. And I found out that after uninstaling Juicedefender my Cell connection returns. Anyway Juicedefender didn't seem to do so much for me anyway. (on the contrary I believe)
Can anybody confirm?
hi, i'm new here and didn't found nothing to fix my problem.
I'm trying to use my wifi always on, i already set the wifi-policy on always but it still disconnects when my screen turns off so i'cant get notifications like mail, whatsapp, steam, etc.
i already tried with the different "wi-fi lockers" in the market but nothing.
my previous phone (galaxy 5) didn't have this problem so i think the router it's not the problem.
also, i'm using this baseband "S5830CVJKL4" and obviously in a 5830m (same as c and i)
thanks.

Is your mobile data/roaming turned on ?

Are you using a battery saver (juice defender, for example)? If so, make sure you don't let it control your wifi.
i'm not using battery savers and my mobile data is turned off.
i'll try with a different baseband today, not sure if that have something to do with the wifi.
Weird, i use advanced wifi locker for another tablet that i got that problem and fixes it, though, i noticed that works in some roms and in others don't.
Anyways maybe is because the rom? i use the stock galaxy one and i don't need to use 3rd party to get the wifi on always.
well, aparently IT IS my router, tested in a friend's home with his wifi and didn't have this problem.
weird, the problem it's only when my screen is off, i guess i'll call my internet provider tomorrow, thanks guys.
So guys, I'm having a weird and annoying problem on my One, I'm on a converted GE, full stock, started to note that when I'm on Wi-Fi I can't see any videos.
So what happens is for example if using YouTube app goes fine until it starts de video, then it freezes and never play.
It happens with chrome too, if I'm on a page with a video as soon as start to play it simple crashes.
Turning off Wi-Fi solves everything, on LTE everything works.
So I did a lot of workarounds by using different Wi-Fi settings, different Wi-Fi networks but with no luck, so the next step for me was wipe, even then the problem persists.
It doesn't have this problem on stock sense roms, as soon as I flash GE, Wi-Fi acts really wrong.
No matter what app I'm using to watch YouTube or browser to see videos it freezes or crashes on Wi-Fi.

I found out that when I take out my sim card, streaming videos works on WiFi. It only doesn't seem to work when it's connected to both a mobile network and WiFi.

My moto edge 20 pro has the same problem. Can anyone help?
Hello rambo. I have this problem and it bothers me a lot. And I don't even know if it worked well on Android 11, because when I bought the device, I barely used it and the update to version 12 appeared.
I tried the solutions available on the internet, which are:
Clear Bluetooth app data;
Reset data from Wifi, Bluetoth;
Restore factory settings;
Install another ROM (Lineage 19.1).
None of this worked for my Bluetooh problem. It only works once in a while, most of the time I can't even activate it.
In my case, wifi was never a problem. Bluetooth only. As apparently we have some differences in hardware, I don't know if all PSTAR uses the same modules for Wifi and Bluetooth. I have no problem with the fingerprint sensor in Lineage, for example. Some people do. If they use different hardware in this, who knows what else we can have on our devices in different regions.
For now I'll stick with Lineage OS as I think it works better overall. In the past I always used CyanogenMod on my devices, using Lineage is nostalgic for me.
I'll follow this thread in the hope that someone can help us. Android 13 should arrive soon, let's see if Motorola has fixed something in the new version.

No, I'm using Lineage OS and waiting for Android 13 to see if Motorola has done anything about it. Right now Bluetooth is working normally, I just don't know for how long.

In my case, the private DNS feature doesn't work with any of my wifi. It always keeps saying private DNS not accessible. It was working for a long time. I was able to connect to the DNS with no problem. But few days ago I was unable to connect to a DNS server. My Wi-Fi kept saying private DNS not accessed and it wouldn't connect. I tried everything and even reset it my phone and it didn't even work. If someone has encountered this session sold it please let me know. Thanks.
My phone was having the same issue.
Bluetooth started failing three months ago and became completely disfuncional last month. Wifi became very unstable too. Tried Lineage 19.1 and Stock ROM (Android 11) but it only worked for like two days, then got disfuncional again.
Last week I remembered of a native Hardware Test (Diagnóstico) tool, under Hello You features.
Ran the complete test and, after that, Bluetooth is running flawlessly. Wifi still loses 5Ghz networks sometimes, but the 2,4Ghz keeps stable.
