[Q] The best way to transfer contacts and settings from Xperia X10 to Z?

Just got new Xperia Z, what is the best way to transfer contacts, apps and settings from my Xperia 10x ?

For contacts - use Google Account sync, they bare always backed up there (of course, if you turned on the contact syncing)
For apps - use Carbon or Titanium Backup
For settings - I doubt they are transferrable across different devices, might break some stuff

Select backup contacts in x10and then restore contacts in z.
Make sure to use the same memory card.

Facebook Home

What about getting the working version of facebook home for Xperia z with complete guide.
Today is 12th April launch date of the same.
I am sure someone will have an idea.
Note:
i tried the 3 files way but they didnt workd at all. so looking for a concrete solution.

Did you manage to sort this out?
Just downloaded the leaked file however it would appear that Facebook have turned something off which stops the leaked build being recognised by Facebook when you log in.
Shame, fancied trying that too.

Facebook Home isn't supported by the Xperia Z, yet. Devs could port, but not as of this moment.

Can't Create Folders In App Drawer Bug

Hello,
I just got my Xperia Z yesterday, i updated to .334 and rooted the phone, installed Titanium and removed some of the Junk that comes pre-loaded:
Xperia Keyboard (i use Go)
Xperia Link
Woody 2.0
Wisepilot
Track ID
Sony Car
Socialife
SlideMe Marketplace
Sakura
PlayNow
News & Weather
Moxier Pro
Mono 2.0
Games
Evernote
Now the phone is working perfectly except for one problem, i can't create folders in the App Drawer, a friend of mine has the same phone with the same firmware however he can simply drag and drop an app over the other and create a folder while it's impossible to do that on mine, any ideas?

.334? are you using a japanese version?
the newest one is
.253 (newest)
.434
.350 (oldest)
If you are experiencing problem, maybe you shouldnt delete those apps.

Fixed it by deleting the data for the Xperia Home App, and i got my phone from Egypt, the latest one we have here is .334

Okay turns out that if you set the app drawer to auto organize (Most used, recently installed, etc) you lose the folders functionality all you need to do is just set it to ''My Order''.

i dont find the word my order ; i cant find it at alllllllllllllllllllllllll how to get in it plz help me.I have been trying for days to find the my order choice, i dont find it, everyone talks about it but i dont find it at alllllllllllllll damn it

[Q] Xperia Z1 Weather widget location update issue

Hi Folks,
Wonder if anybody came across an issue with Xperia Z1 Weather widget location automatic update. Have to manually update it all the time.
Checked all GPS and location related settings - still no joy.
Looked throgh the forums - didnt find if anybody logged this issue before here.
Anybody knows how to get it working?

umghh is this the weather widget for lockscreen or something else? I found no pre installed weather widget like there was for the S3 with accuweather being pre installed on the phone!

No idea about that sorry man!

I didnt think sony made one that followed you and auto updated your location.

What about clearing data and cache from the app...did u try that?

Is this amazing or what? This widget is essentially unchanged since X10, Sony's first Android device. Every manufacturer has a location following weather widget. Get with it Sony.

[Q] Voice Dialer app?

Guys, when I updated to kitkat, 4 months ago, i noticed that the voice dialler app had disappeared...was this the same with your phones?
And now, ive downloaded the Xperia Z kitkat update FTF and i found that in priv-app folder there is the voice dialler app...so i installed it to my phone, its installing, when i press it, its kinda starting...but it just crashes on the screen, no errors, just hangs...so my point is, if xperia Z has it on kitkat update, why xperia Z1 doesnt have it? And another question, can You please check out your walkman widget...do you have just one widget, or two different (the one from Z2, and i guess the old one without the song progress bar)...is it the just me who has this duplicates (error or something)
