[ROM] CM6 RC3 w/ Goodies

I just started making ROMs today and I'm going to start with just modifying a ROM.
Couldn't get the Golden Elegance theme to work with anything. So it's has ADW Launcher and everything else.
Goodies added:
Hulu
Flashplayer
Wireless Tether
A Skinned "Droid Does" Swype Keyboard
Option Of ADW Launcher or Launcher Pro
I'll work on different colored themes in the near future.

What did you do to get Hulu working?

is 8GB internal storage present and is BT audio fixed? Those are keeping me away from CM6 for now...

I included the hulu.apk and the hulu flash player I got from skyraider

thx for the response and no worries, was just curious. don't pay attention to the negative comment(s).

Yo hot taco, overall pretty nice. The only thing i would suggest is to theme over all the cyan (blue) parts to make them look like vanilla (even though thats my area of expertise).
Good luck with future roms.

I agree 110%.. I've thought about trying to learn how to cook up some ROMs but if this is how i would get treated, forget it. So what if its not a "ROM". Everyone has to start somewhere. He's learning. He's obviously smarter than you at age 13 and you obviously have a problem with it. Grow up before you decided to post such nonsense.
EDIT: just to clarify, this was directed at rulevoid, not mtag. i was just agreeing with mtag, which is the reason for the quote.

@OP glad ur taking interest and trying to learn to cook roms.
perhaps u should work on creating some original material and get some people to test/help u before u create a thread for a ROM...
That way nobody could complain and u could learn and put together a good ROM

Wow, sure he just used a basic kitchen to add things a lot of ppl add anyways. This isn't for me so I'm not gonna flash it, but I'm not gonna flame someone for doing this. A lot of people will find this useful. Just because its not for you doesn't mean its right to treat someone trying to contribute like this.

x911 exclusive droid X rom

Hello everyone. Well I have some free time now and have decided to make a rom exclusively for the X. It will be called x911. After testing out a few and not finding exactly what I like, I decided to start this project. So If anyone is interested in testing a beta, giving some input/requests on certain features etc, let me know. Updates and news about dev will be on "thevideomole" .com - can't direct link sorry. Well who am I is kind of a weird question. Who are you? Anyway I made a crude boot animation for my x911 AOSP Froyo Rom, needs much polishing but the concept is there. Video is on the site previously posted. This weekend that should begin and I can begin coding.

I don't think that a person asking about your background or experience is kind of a weird question. To be honest I normally close threads like this because its been my experience that ROMS are never produced. Perhaps you if you are soliciting feedback you may post a beta or test ROM you are working. Guys in this forum are used to a lot of fake posts.

Exactly...I didn't mean who are you on a personal level, I meant it as, who are you as it pertains to the Android Community. I write articles and news that's Android related, and have been around for a long time in the forums, but I have never heard of you or your brand of ROMs. So I meant who are you as a Developer or Chef, because maybe you are an experienced Dev and I just don't know of you. But also you could be that kid jdkclipse from the incredible and other forums...some might know that drama.
Either way though, if u have a ROM, just post it and a screenshot and a detailed changelog/info on it, no need to open a thread until you have that.

If you're looking for a nice off-topic channel on IRC, check out #romkitchen on freenode. Some android talk and other random talk going on out there. Feel free to hang out, although I might be the only one with an O2x in there

Not sure abt the difference but its recommended to install it through ROM Manager, thats how I installed CWM too. It works fine, no issues

Ah really, I'll have to look in to that. I've done a little ICS wallpaper for LC's ICS and a boot anim for DX Rom with the little guy so far too.
No not blender...I have tried to use that and it baffles me haha. I use Solidworks for my modelling and rendering

I am considering buying a small amount of bitcoin (<200$) just to make a bit of money in the short term. This is brief but has anybody had any experience with it? I think it's going to crash after awhile, but for now there is definitive money to be made.

It is similar to stocks in that the price fluctuates very rapidly, but it's like an internet money that has no gov associations on its back. Imagine an internet gift card that instead of money is loaded with fluctuating stocks.
