I tried a few codes and none of them work.

Works fine for me when using standard dialler

Yeah, a lot of these don't work for me. IMEI, INFO, and CHECKIN are the only things that work as far as I know

As ive already said it defers from version to version.

You should remove the codes that do not work then.
Otherwise change to title to something like, "Random Android secret codes that may or may not with the Nexus 4, because some are OEM specific"

The codes posted by you are Samsung test mode codes. They won't work on a LG devices like the Nexus 4.
Most of the codes you posted are found here in the codes for SGS3 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098642
Only few of those such as *#*#4346#*#* and IMEI are Android/universal and will be present on all devices.

Yeah some of them are universal but some are also meant to be for N4

Nope, none are meant for the N4. No Nexus device has every had proprietary 'secret' codes, just the standard Android ones.

These are not Nexus 4 codes, and most of them are not even Android codes. They are legacy GSM/TDMA/CDMA codes, most of which are no longer used on any newer device.
Out of the list you provided, only 2 work (as was mentioned by arvonn here):
Phone IMEI: *#06#
Testing menu: *#*#4363#*#

if you go to the service menu on your z, the customization is listed as row (as opposed to jp). No idea what this stands for. Assumedly its something to do with the generic US version
yes it is real. Created from SUS package and flashtool

In the contacts option page, hold down the blank space abpve the status bar for about five seconds. A button will appear. This will lead to a dialer. In the dialer, enter *#*#7378423#*#*. You'll then enter the service menu.
And no. Lol

Downgraded to .344, flashing with Flashtool 0.9.11.0, rooted with this, kept root with OTA RootKeeper (just in case, don't know if needed) and upgraded via OTA from tablet to .370.
Thank you all!

Great! by the way i didn't use OTA RootKeeper, also try to mount /system as RW that's the only one with problems, in my case the tablet reboots. I found a way to bypass this a little lol, but before to post the solution i want to see if you have the issue.

Mine does the same. Some seconds after
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
reboots. I'll follow you for that solution... :highfive:

Those codes don't work on every model, some will and some won't.
If it means that much to you try flashing an unbranded firmware. (GXXXu1) XXX being the digits of your device. It will always end in U1 for unbranded firmware (THIS IS NOT UNLOCKED)

Rooting p9 lite

Hi guys
I was wondering if it could still be possibleto root the p9 lite in 2023.
Here are the specs:
Model nuber: SLA-L02
EMUI: 5.1.3
Android: 7.0
I've tried every thread and website(freewares also such as Kingroot), even contacted huawei but none of it worked. I was only abel to unlock the FPR, but not the bootloader.
