Its called bottom_bar/semc_bottom_bar_holo_dark/semc_bottom_bar_holo_light depending on your firmware.
The problem is that is controlled by the navigation buttons. The bigger the buttons the bigger the bar.
You could try making the image transparent.
Is it in framework-res.apk?

You dont delete it.
Open up framework-res,
pull out the image,
open it with an image editor,
set it to transparent or make an image that is transparent with the same name and dimensions and apply it.
There are plenty of guides around here how to apply things, there is one in the sgs2 section i created.

thanks a lot dully
it was enough modify only "semc_bottom_bar_holo_dark.png" from black to transparent
PAVNEET101
1. copy your framework-res.apk (system/framework/framework-res.apk) on your pc
2. change its extension from .apk to .zip
3. open it with, for example, winrar
4. search the image and exctract him
5. open the image with photoshop or paint.net and make it transparent
6. save it and replace in the zip file, the old image with the new image
7. change again the extension in .apk
8. copy and replace the file in system/framework/ (but first make a backup copy of original file )
9. the smartphone will reboot, but don't worry... when it will turn on, there will be a perfect lockscreen
Does the transparent image effect other apps? (ie, if apps use that image they might look bad). If not then it's great.
For the moment I haven't any problem with other apps
But I can't guarantee that there won't be...

I also need the /system/app/SystemUI.apk.
Ok please mod ics task manager and change date/clock to a blue colour. Thanks for your help btw.
Here you go
You know how to install ClockworkMod Recovery, don't you?
In ClockworkMod Recovery, go to "install zip from sd".
Choose "choose zip from sdcard"
Select "ICS-JB_taskmanager_blue_clock-date.zip"
Enjoy !!!!!
It could be that the date hasn't changed to blue, if so, say it to me WITH A SCREENSHOT.
Here's the file: View attachment ICS-JB_taskmanager_blue_clock-date.zip.

Yes, I see.
And what I also see, is that the color of the clock isn't the same as the other icons.
I am now modding it again to get the correct color (easy peasy).
The zip file, I don't know exactly. What I do know, is that I got the META-INF in the zip from another zip, a sample.
By the way, for the ICS/JB task manager, extract framework-res.apk from the zip and copy it to /system/framework/.
And I have the backup of SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk so if something goes wrong, ask me for them.
Oh, can I have /system/framework/twframework-res.apk also?

Dont worry, i already do a nandroid backup Now im gonna test ICS task manager and i will tell you the result.
Clock centered? nevermind, im prefer on right clock than centered clock.
Here's the (flashable) zip file with the blue clock AND date.
You may have to copy framework-res.apk (from the previous zip) to /system/framework/ if the ICS/JB task manager is gone (of course after flashing the zip file).

You can do this by de-compiling the apk and then changing the appropriate .png files inside the /res/ folder. The names can differ from apk to apk but in most cases you can distinguish what is what. After that is complete you have to recompile the SystemUI.apk and push it back into your system. Note that this assumes that you are using a deodexed ROM.

Yep it's deodexed it says in the thread you gave me ^^ And no it's not related to a setting in the phone. There are multiple folders in the /res folder you might need to edit several files. Try experimenting with them to see which combination gives you the best results. Also a nand backup would be good before doing this in case you want to revert. You can also just backup the original SystemUI.apk

I think that while you use tw, it will be the same for apps like root explorer, my files and so on. some of the roms are themed so that may be why it looks different. can't really say as I prefer just plain stock, and even with holo launcher hd it uses the tw colors when opening apps.

Since you edited the SecPhone.apk check the in-call Dailer. And you don't have to create a flashable zip, you can just push file to /system

Hey guys..
So, you want you lockscreen to show your live wallpaper?
Then check out post 8 in this thread!
Original question:
Hey!
I've already been looking for this for ages, but without success..
So.. Is there a way to mod the stock JB lockscreen to make its background transparent?
(So live wallpapers etc are visible ^^)
I have already found a mod for Xperia Go which included a theme with transparent lockscreen background and a modded UxpNxtLockscreen.apk file with added support for transparency.
But it doesn't work on our T/V because of the difference in dpi.
So, could anyone help me out with this?
Thx in advance!

I did the following:
1: Remove your old UxpNxtLockscreen.apk
2: Go to recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache, then fix permissions (just to be sure )
3: Download the UxpNxtLockscreen.apk from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259985
4: Move it to system/app with the right permissions (rw-r--r--)
5: Reboot
6: Download the Purple Theme from the same thread and open it as a zip
7: Extract the semc_theme_lockscreen_wallpaper.png and move it somewhere to your sdcard0
8: Select the image as lockscreen background in the settings
9: Set your desired homescreen live wallpaper
10: Done!
Just gotta mod the lockscreen because it still shows the navbar and somehow becomes dark upon touch. But for the latter a fix is mentioned in the thread where I found the lockscreen mod.
So we just need some friendly guy to decompile and mod this one for us
Won't be that hard, I'd do it myself, but I don't have the time right now.
