My LG Optimus 2x seems bricked. It was rooted. Yesterday, I tried to update my phone from Android 2.3.4 to Android 4.0.4(both official) with Smartflash. But an error occured :

Since this moment, when I turn on my phone, it stucks at LG logo and I can't access to CWM.
I tried to fix this problem with NvFLash, but when I run the file "flash.bat", the error is :
waiting for bootloader initialize
bootloader failed NvError 0x0
command failure : bootloader download failed.

Keep flashing the AP .bin file until it is flashed successfully. Change usb ports, restart íyour computer, try on other computer. It will work after many tries

It was the .bin file that generated the error. I tried several times and now it works. It's a strange way.

Try to restore your previous RIL (if you remember which was), it worked for me.
Otherwise, i think it's better if you reflash a stock rom through NVflash (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007825).

Try to upgrade again. It failed for me the first time too.

Which baseband are you trying to flash? If you are trying to flash the v20m one, there are 4 file in the zip. Flash the files from the largest to the smallest in size. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1401921

my phone is p990 with v 20 indonesia, first i flash to ICS LEAK , Everythings work fine when use ics , but when in ICS it said my phone is LGSU660
then after few days i planned to get back to stock rom , i used smartflash and download stock rom from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
when it started to flash everything work fine and

Turn device off, remove battery, plug device in while holding volume up and down - screen will stay black but Windows will add a new 'APX' devices
Install drivers extracted from driver file download
Run 'flash.bat' from ROM file download
Wait for flash to complete and device to reboot

just use this....one of the best ICS ROMs available.flash with the NVFlash method.

I tried to flash back the stock rom, on Django X 1.4 atm, but i get an error. I've turned the phone off, pulled the battery. Holding down the vol- button, while plugging it in. Open smartflash p990. Select the 'ROM Copy D/L' tab. Ensure 'Normal Mode' is selected. Ensure 'Erase CAL' is NOT selected.
Put the fls file in first, the bin file second. It's starts flashing. Phone turns itself off, then i get an error:

After this i can just put the battery back in, and it restart with Django X 1.4 still on it. Dunno what's going wrong, maybe because i'm already on the new bootloader?
You can try a few things.
1. Just try again straight after the timeout error. Sometimes that works for me.
2. Flash the files one at a time.
3. Change the position of the files in the boxes (put the bin file in the first box and the fls file in the second).
One of those methods should allow you to smartflash successfully.

are you connecting your phone directly to motherboard's usb? if not, try it.
you should also try to change the order of baseband and rom in smart flash (I mean the files), that can also help.
