lg optimus wall charger please help

does lg optimus x2 compatible with ipod touch wall charger rated 5.1V 1A or samsung android charger series with 5.1v 750mah?
please share volt and ampere rate on original charger or share your experience using wall charger other than original
thx
original charger: 4.8V/1A
with one charger that puts out 5.3V/1A the touchscreen starts to act weirdly
The charger (from a motorola RAZR II V8) I mainly use puts out 5V/850mA

samsung Galaxy S? does it rated 5V and 850mah? okay so it seem wall charger from samsung galaxy series work fine, tommorow i will go to store to buy them, Original LG charger is expensive in here 14$ and there's chinese micro usb wall charger for 3$ that works fine dont know it's volt and mah rate
thx for answer:laugh:
got samsung traver charger adapter for 5$ rated 5v 1A it charge fine without problem.it say 5v 0.7A on the package maybe it's a fake or half fake/third party but still no problem
Building on the topic, I would like to know if I use the original charger but with other cable USB (commom) I will have same efficiency in recharge? And I would like to know if I will Have problem if I make this?
dont know about usb cable maybe yes,my only experience just with generic usb cable that dont work as data cable in sgs

Using different chargers question please

I have numerous chargers at home all of which have charged my evo, gs2, Nexus 7, etc.
Can these be used interchangeable in the Note 2 without harming the charging process?
Thanks
As long as the Voltage is the same (5V) there is no Problem. But you should have a charger at 2 Amper for optimal charging speed.
I just tried charging mine with the normal microUSB charger I use for every other phone I have had and it took 7.5 hours to charge from 5%-62%. I used the stock charger that was in the box and it charged it in 3.5-4 hours no problem. Seems like the charger in the box charges faster.
reading this thread made me curious, my NOTE II should arrive in about a week, I can't tell for myself yet, what is the A (amps) specification mentioned on the original charger?
as i come from HTC, my current chargers go up to 1 A current. witch is the double A a standard USB port will give unless crossover'd .
thanks in advance!

in the wiki thread i found the answer, the supplied charger delivers 5 V 2 A output to the device.

2A! Same as the Tab 10.1 charger.
Filling a 3100mAh battery requires some grunt.
i think even the usb cable makes a difference..
when i use the stock usb cable with the stock charger ..my s3 would charge up comparatively faster than with the other usb cable connected to the same stock charger.:rolleyes

It certainly does! :good:
All electrical cables have some resistance. Very low (but not zero) for quality cables, sometimes quite noticeable for thin and cheap offerings.
From Ohm's Law we know that voltage drop will be proportional to current. A cable with a resistance of just half an ohm will loose about 0.5% at 50mA. That's pretty much nothing. However, at 2000mA the loss reaches 20%.
dude use any charger, just don't use LG charger **** !!!!!
You must use the 5volt 2amp charger and cable provided or a replacement with the same output or youll either be waiting for ever for it to charge or do some damage.
I tryed using my note 1 charger rated at 1amp and guess what? It took about twice as long to charge.

Some of my old 1 Amp chargers aren't happy at all, and will often decide to stop charging randomly.
I though it was something weird with my phone, but after switching chargers it never happened again.

USA official charger
This are the images of the official USA charger that will comes when they release the device in USA
And yes its a 2.0A charger, so the SIII charger isn't appropriate for NoteII.
this is the kind of charger used in Canada, USA, and Latin America, i bought this NoteII in Mexico from an authorized Samsung provider, of course factory unlocked 710usd, like 10,900mxn.
Has anyone tried a 3A charger? Just wondering if this would speed up charging even more than the standard 2A charger.

No, it won't speed it up. It's what the device takes from a charger, and not what a charger can potentially supply. If the device's charging circuit is spec'd for up to 2A current, that's what it will suck out of a charger, not more. You can connect a 30A lab power supply, and it will still be the same 2A (or less) input. To speed up the charging process, you need to mod the charging circuit of the device itself.

Lost Charger, Need replacement HELP

Hello guys,
I lost yesterday my charger, and i can't find any charger seller.
I am not going to import a new charger yet, in the meanwhile a friend who has a moto x too told me that the Moto X has a power of
5v and 1150 mAh
Charging with original cable to a PC via usb is too slow
i have an Alcatel (5V - 400mA)
PS Vita Charger ( 5V - 1500 mA)
I tried to investigate by my own, but the more i learn i get more confused..
Which one should i use to charge my Moto X?
Alcatel or Vita?
Thanks in advance

They don't even export to South America, i will end paying $100 bucks if i use a miami pobox, il wait until motorola local store brings original chargers.
Thanks but as i said, i can't buy/import a new charger at this moment only have:
- Alcatel charger (5V - 400mA with it's own microusb cable)
- PS Vita Charger ( 5V - 1500 mA with the original cable)
Yet i am afraid to damage my cellphone or it's battery.
=(

A USB/USB2.0 port will output 5V 500mA (and in some cases 550mA).
The less current the charger outputs, the slower it will charge the phone, which is why charging via cable to USB port on PC is so slow. If the phone really needs 1000 or 1150mA to charge, then using a 500-500mA charger might not even be able to maintain the current battery level.
In most cases, the output rating on the charger is the voltage (V) and max current (mA) the adapter can supply.
While you must match the Voltage and do NOT exceed the rated Voltage of the original charger, usually it is acceptable to use a higher current charger as the phones will draw as much current as they need without exceeding the max output of the charger.
I charged phones and headsets that shipped with 550mA chargers using 750, 850 and even 1000mA chargers just fine. And I use a 1000mA(1A) and 850mA chargers to charge my X at the moment.
So you should be able to charge via the PS Vita charger.
as long as the charger can supply enough amps it will charge the phone fine or at a slower rate.
amps are like the flowrate of a pipe. if you have a charger with a lower amp rating than the phone can take in, it will just atke in less. if your charger is more than the max, the phone will just take the max it can and there will be no harm.
if you watn to be sure a charger can charge your phone at its top speed just buy one for an ipad or a tablet as they are usuall over 1AMP and up to 2AMP.
i dont think the moto x even draws the full 1150ma, just the charger itcomes with has 2 USB ports so its a heavier duty phone charger
I'm using a galaxy s4 2amp charger and it works wonderfully. Fastest OEM amperage and a nice long USB cable.

Using Indian Dash Charger in US

Can Indian Dash Chargers which have Voltage rating of 200 - 240V , be used in US with voltage rating of 110V ?? If anyone has used/tried please reply
generally they are worldwide compatible, i'm italian and on my charger there is "110~240v"
Hello, was in the same situation and ended up buying new charger.

Huawei P10 and standard type-c charger

Is there a problem with P10 and standard type-c charger? If not, do anybody know which rate P10 is charging with standard type-c charger? 3A? I believe Huawei SuperCharge uses 5A.
I am buying a charger and wondering if I can buy standard type-c charger so i can use fast charging with other devices too.
The voltage is the thing. There're some chargers with more than 5V. Don't buy one of these. The current is only important for fast charging. The phone only uses max. 5A at 5V, if the charger has more than 5A the phone won't use more current.
So you can buy every charger with 5V.
