Several people have told me that my mobile number is hidden when calling from my Xperia Z.
I've tried to find where I can change the setting so that my number will show up but I can't seem to find an option.
Any answers please.
Go to setting>> calling setting>> additional setting>> caller ID
This might help you

I can't get mobile data connection at all. I'm on Zeus 6.32N. Can anyone help...?
Look at ur Access Point Name settings under wireless settings.
Go to ur mobile providers website and get the settings for ur provider under the support tab.
If they won't send u a settings message then u will have to contact support or look up their FAQ section.

Hi,
my Droid 4 auto puts a + in front of 1800 numbers that I am calling, here in Singapore. Think in the US, it is somewhat like how ya all call 800 numbers? Those toll-free helplines..
I checked online, and most advice are to deactivate the assisted dialer, via call settings. However, I've tried to find that on my droid 4, but am unable to find any call settings, or where to deactivate the assisted dialer. Anyone else facing this issue, or can assist to resolve my situation?
Thanks in advance!
To turn off assisted dialer on stock d4.... apps>phone>menu>settings>assisted dialer>uncheck

Did you try anything with the "reference country" of the assisted dialing setting?

I am on GiffGaff which is a virtual network of O2 in the U.K. As a result the dialer thinks my voicemail is 901 rather than 443. I wouldnt normally care but i have a persistant notification to check my voicemail. I am unable to change the voicemail number in the dialer for some reason as the setting is greyed out. Instead i found a voicemailconf.xml file under /system/etc, and there also one in /etc.
This is a lookup dictionary for all the networks and their voicemail numbers, ive tried editiing the O2 one to 443 in both files but after restarting it goes back to 443. Really annoying what am i doing wrong, now do i make this permantent?
I have replied to your other thead on this same subject
Please do not post duplicate threads it is against the TOS
I am with giffgaff as well and press and hold 1 works with out any issues goes to giffgaff.
If you need to change the number go into settings then go to voicemail settings, then click on voicemail number and change it!
Guys the option to change the voice mail in the dialler app is greyed out. Holding 1 just goes to 901. The phone is convinced I'm with o2. How do I make permanent changes to the system partition?

Hi to all,
my question is:
how can I block calls and messages from my contact ?
It is possible with app inside rom, or to install other app ?
I have rom kitkat 4.4.2.
There may be an option called 'Privacy' in your settings... I got it and my phone runs on Pac-Rom 4.4.2.
In there I can blacklist calls and messages.
It should also be able, when you longpress the contact you want to block. I guess there is an option like that.
Hit thanks when it helped you!
Greetings from Austria!
