Hey Guy and Gals,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a ROM that works with Screen Standby that doesn't have the HDMI rotation bug but also isn't stock so that Six Axis works .
I now have an S3 now and want to turn my 2x into a pseudo android game machine I've been using paranoid android cm9 version but it doesn't seem to work with screen standby or maybe screen standby doesn't work with 2x full stop or maybe it's a kernel issue i really don't have the smarts to figure it out.
Thanks in advance for any info that can lead me to my holy grail of roms

Hello i would like to ask if anyone tried to port or use the Touch HD calling interface for the Touch Pro.
The touch HD aparently features the Slide2Answer and Slide2Ignore functions which i lack on the Touch Pro. Anyone could check / think about that?
Did you check the ROM Development section?
Regards,
Carty..
so far you can have the in call curtian which you slide down to prevent from hitting mute and such
but they havent made the slide to answer or slide to ignore work yet
still hoping its soon
Till HTC comes with an official solution, you can use Slide 2 Unlock. It has Slide2answer and Slide2ignore (you need to enable them via settings)
I should warn you though - it is possible that you will have battery issues with S2U.
I installed it and loved the features but my battery life dramatically dropped. I uninstalled it and the battery now lasts just as before.
A bit off topic, but a just warning. I set safe mode and turned off battery charging animation and never had any problems with battery drain with S2U2 again.
Still wouldnt like this topic to be forgotten. I think the Caller from Touch HD would benefit the Touch Pro users too.
I agree. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the Dialer as such but I'm dissapointed with its behaviour on TP - I had to disable it to have a working phone ;-)
Maybe a custom made dialer/call interface can be a good solution to this.

some people are working on it
does anyone know how to make i9000 fancy rotation animation work? i'v already click the fancy rotation under the spar parts, but nothing happened, and it also said 1.5 only. what is that mean? thanks.
Solved the problem
The answer was here in XDA
Lie galaxy flat.
( back side galaxy isn't flat!)
Setting- Display-Calibrate
Back to normal.
thanks, but it is still not working. i heard that only g1 can have that rotate effect.
Hello all!
I have been a proud user of Galaxy Note user for a bit over a week now, and I am trying to test (in real app-world) if all the sensors are working correctly to be able to bring change it at the store if something doesn't work, since I'm eager to root my device and I probably won't be able to return it then.
Yesterday I installed the game AirPenguin, which uses accelerometer controls, and it seems all messed up. Basically what happens is that as soon as the game starts, the bird goes flying way left, even though I am holding the phone still. What I found out after experimenting a bit was that the game itself is locked to portrait mode, but the accelerometer works as if it was in landscape. Meaning I have to hold it in landscape, and when I then tilt it left, the bird flies left in game-screen, but left is down from my point of view.
I was wondering if anyone else has seen such problem in this game or any other app, and if it is just a game bug or if there could be a problem with the accelerometer.
The stock accelerometer calibration works without a problem - when I tilt the phone left, the ball goes right, and when I tilt it right, it goes left (I suppose that's how it's supposed to be).
Thank you all in advance!
ME TOO
I'm facing the same problem on my Galaxy Note, I wonder if that happens also on other android devices or it's a galaxy note issue only?
i dont have the app, but is auto-rotate (that thing in the notification bar) turned off or on? try changing that to see if it fixes it?

Nexus and HTC Flyer, too any solutions?
Same problem with my Galaxy Tab 7+ P6200. I have encountered so many games in the google playstore with this problem. Too bad, i hope the app developers fix this problem for our devices.
afair there was a free app for comprehensive hardware testing, it was called Z-Device test, if stones interested, and google does not hello, I may try to find the link or apk later

Hi!
My GT-I9000 only rotates when i hold it so that the screen faces down (like when you lay in the bed and hold the device above your head). My device runs CM10 (4.1.2) but I already had this problem when it was on DarkyRom 11.0 (CM9 based). Is there a way to calibrate the movement sensors in CM10? What else can I do?
thanks

i have exactly the same problem in TWO other i9000 s. it started after flashing to cm9. i'm surprised that this problem is not well know apparently. if it's any use, my i9000s were bought in germany.
Hi, try this [Setting -> Display -> Rotation.
Try un tick 180 Degrees
Edited: maybe I got you wrong
If you wanna to rotate, then tick all

i tried this already, no luck. there doesnt seem to be an obvious solution.
Hey guys, I've been off the forums for about a week or so now...can anybody briefy bring me up to speed regarding the issues of the wifi bug, and the auto rotation bug? From what I very hastily just skimmed, I didn't see anything indicating there has been a fix yet. Is there at least any news regarding the status of these issues, and when they may possibly be fixed?
I'm quite fond of ROM flashing, and we all know our small Droid 4 following is pretty limited in the amount of dev support it recieves, compared to several other phones; and continue to appreciate the few devs that have remained faithful to providing the Droid 4 with the few ROMs it does have. So, the not being able to use any custom ROMs because of these few critical glitches has been horrible.
Any insight from anyone on the status of these issues would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hello,
Sorry to but in, but I'm also experiencing an issue with the Accelerometer not producing any data. I can only switch to landscape mode by sliding the phone open, but I have to turn the screen off and back on to restore back to portrait. Not a huge problem, but one I'd love to see a fix to. Any updates on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
if your on CM10 download his latest version. This should have a fix
