When i tap home touch button for a longer time there shows a circle with google icon which launches me google search. Can i disable this?
Yep. If you have root, uninstall Google Search with Titanium Backup for example.

I was wondering is there a way to switch the search button on the button to goto googlesearch app in stead of the search app. I was just wondering because google can update the googlesearch app through market but the search app cant. Thanks

When I'm tap on google search bar in home screen the stock soft keyboard dont want popup - i see only history of search. To see the keyboard i must tap again over search bar.
Same is situation with google search bar widget and conjure application
P.s. This is happened after I'm doing about 2-3 cycles - open application then home screen (or back button)
Is there any possible to see and use keyboard after one tap over google search home screen bar?

I use Swiftkey and it appears immediately when I hit the search bar, no need to hit twice.
Didn't try with stock Kb.
Mine pops up on the first tap.
I think that problem is: keyboard layer (window) is open but is behind application layer (window) because when I'm switch to other application keyboard is showed for short time.
So, how to force keyboard layer (window) to be always over application?

I use apex instead of the samsung launcher which is faster and use less usage which i think is good for me. But i want set the long-press menu key to open google search and the samsung search ( which very ugly and useless) will open after the google search start up. I want to know how to disable or remove the samsung search.
Looking for the same answer. In the meantime I've just switched double tap on desktop to Google voice search (which isn't hijacked by s voice) and long menu to Google search. Using Nova launcher
Edit... Just realized even normal Google is hijacked too from menu key

I disabled S Voice and all that other stuff, as well as in the voice search settings. Now when I hold the menu key for a short period Google Now pops up, but if I hold it longer S Finder pops up.
Slide Launcher has been available for quite a while and fortunately, it's still working on Marshmallow. It allow you to have a custom list of shortcuts to any apps, intents or activities you want and you can access it from anywhere. You can configure your phone to launch Slide Launcher when doing a long press on Home button. This action usually launch Google Now-on-Tap but, in my opinion Google Now-on-Tap is of limited use and with Google Now card, it is quite obtrusive so, I disable it anyway. In order to launch Slide Launcher with a long press on home button, you have to go to Settings/Apps, tap on the Gear icon on top, then you'll see an option called "DefaultApps". Open it and you'll get the option Assist & Voice input. Tap on it and you'll see an option called Assist app, a tap on it will allow to choose which action is desired on a long-press on home button.
Hey. Can you help me someone? I use google home mini on control my smart devices. But sometimes i want to use my old phone for(not voice controlling commands) In that case i must open google home app and tap (for instance: on/off light). But i want to widget on my home screen for every smart device in my home and turn on/off for simple one click. Is that possible? Thanks
In Google Home or Google Assistant, set up a routine that does the command you want. There's a button that creates a home screen shortcut that triggers the routine
