Hi All,
I've been trying to set up my company email on my Nokia Lumia 620, but there is any error which i don't know what's happening.
Is there anyone facing the same problem as me? Is there any way to fix it?
You have take a look server side for logs. Let me know. I'm using Office 365 and I haven't any issue.

Try deleting the Account again and to recreate the Account. It should ask you during Setup wether you want to allow those Policies to be applied. There are some policies though that can't be enforced on WP devices. One of them is SD card encryption. If your companies server requires the SD card to be encrypted Windows Phones currently can't connect (wether they have an SD card or not).

Hello all
I've been scouring the web looking for answers to this problem. Most of them are Palm specific.
I have had to replace the SIM card in my Tilt with a new one supplied by ATT. Had the phone repovisioned with the new SIM...all Windows 6.1 functions are fine.
My Goodlink apps (required by company) are no longer working and throws up the error that the intalled SIM does not match the phone SIM..or words to that effect.
I went to try and reactivate OTA from get.good.com. The installer begins but is unable to uninstall the old app.
Is there a way to update the Goodlink server with the new SIM number. As it stands, I have no corporate email or calendar info.
Did you ask your corporate IT folks. I think this is probably something they need to fix. Sounds like your new SIM needs to be accepted by the corp servers or something like that.
yes. but they are proving to be less than helpful. Goodlink is a legacy app and while they are bound to support it...they'd rather give me a blackberry.
Hey all
So my corporate IT department will not reactivate my Goodlink account to work with the new SIM card.
My department will not approve the request for a Blackberry
My corporate IT department will not enable the native Active Sync for Exchange.
Is there a similar program to the Blackberry Desktop director that would sit on my host PC and *listen* for email/calendar changes...then relay those to my device OTA?
thanks in advance
Good morning everybody,
i updated my Nexus One 2 days ago from 85B to 91.
Since the update my phone cannot connect to my exchange server :-(
Does anybody know something about this problem?
Thx for your answers
I have the same problem. :-(

Sorry, no problems here with FRF91 and Exchange...
best,

i have the same problem.
after the update my exchange setup had gone.
resetting it backup just comes up with "unable to open connection to server"
if i untick accept all SSL certificates i get "unable to open connection to server due to security error." so it must be communicating, and ticking that accept all ssl should then mean it passes?
exchange: 2007 SP1 standard on Win2003 standard x64 sp2.
OK i think i have it.
i changed our exchange certificate on the server to a SAN certificate. (subject alternative name).
my explanation won't be the best, but it certifies the servers different DNS names. such as its internal name, external name (eg. internal.company.local, externalmail.company.com.au)
Maybe with this update it broke the 'accept all ssl' which is suppose to let it communicate if the ssl cert comes back with the rong name, or expired.
if you have access to the exchange server you are trying to setup then give this a burl.
..ok i can't post a url. so if you want to give it ago shoot me an email and ill link you up and give you a hand if need be.
let me know if this helps any of you!?
Mick
any way around this other than swapping out certificates? i don't have access to do that at my company and i doubt they'll do that just because one phone has an issue...
Hi, id appreciate any help. JUST UNBOXED MY htc hd7, and tried to set up my outlook account, which is based on ms exchange server. I have it running without any issue on iphone, and i just copied the setting of the iphone. However, i keep getting a certificate error for my server. I have remote acess to the server via citrix, and i tried to copy a few certs using mmc, and mailed them via a gmail account. They installed correctly, but it didnt work. Can anyone help?
hi .
i ordered a lumia 720 i stil use a hd2 with windows mobile (yeah i know its old ) but my question is what is the easiest way to export the data from windows mobile (contacts , tekst message etc ) to a new wp8 device??
anyone any good ideas on how to do that ?
greets
Sadly, I'm not aware of any current way to export SMS in a format that can then be imported into WP8. WP8 does have a SMS backup/restore feature, but I haven't yet looked into uploading data from something other than a WP8 device to then get restored. It's worth investigating, though.
Contacts will automatically be imported if they are in the contact books of any EAS account (Hotmail/Exchange/Office365/Gmail) that you add to your WP8 device. For contacts which are purely on the phone, one option is to write them out to the SIM card, put the SIM in the new phone, and import them that way. Althernatively, Samsung (and possibly Nokia; I haven't checked) phones have an app for contact sharing via BlueTooth, though I'm not sure if WM6.5 supports exporting them that way.
Documents can be uploaded to SkyDrive and then synced down to the phone, and music/video/pictures can be synced using MTP over USB from any PC, but other data is likely going to be nigh-impossible to transfer right now.

If you look up accounts in your setting I believe you can add another email to your phone.
Not sure if you can change it totally without loosing info.
If you're just worried about the email address, I think you can change the address associated with a given Microsoft account. You can also just stop synching email on the current account and add the other account as a normal email account (as opposed to the phone's primary Microsoft account), if you *really* only care about email.
Otherwise, though, I'm not sure if you have any good options. On WP7, your purchases and such were attached to your Zune Tag / Xbox Live Gamertag (same thing) and you could move those between accounts, then hard-reset the phone and set it up with the "new" account to have access to all your old games. It *probably* works the same for WP8, but I can't promise that.
This kind of DRM bull**** is one of the reasons I don't "buy" apps if I can help it. If you actually owned a copy of the app, you could just re-install it on your own device after changing the primary ID no problem... Same goes for Steam and such, of course.

So,this is the story.
When i bought Lumia 520,i wanted to sign in with my e-mail address hotmail.com. I received error, tried with a new alias(same error), so i had to make new e-mail address(outlook.com)..Few days ago, i reseted my phone to factory settings, then i tried for curiosity if my first e-mail work and worked .Now i want to move apps/games to old e-mail address hotmail.com (or merge e-mail addresses).but i can't..I know that in wp7 you could change in registry something( i read somewhere )...
I can change gamertag for free(first time),but e-mail address no.I've been talked with support but they didn't helped me. They gived me a free t-shirt for xbox avatar.....I think there is no other option..just buy again apps/games in old e-mail address.

I believe that if you go to live.com and log in, there is an option under accounts to link different addresses to your account, as well as set the primary. As I remember, would be able to use any/all of those to log in. I had this issue before when I set up a new email. Only problem I had after that was my phones address and the primary weren't the same and FB chat through the native messenger app would not work. I reset the primary and no issues after that. Try it and let us know.

I said that you can add other addresses that will link to whatever you use for your Live.com account.
