You can't. Just root, install the 11ext2internalsd.txt script, install Triangle Away, and enjoy a customized phone.

Could you send me to a link where the steps are descrited a little bit more? Thank you

1) Root.
2) Go to Q&A and look for "how to swap internal storage with external storage" or something to that extent.
3) Apply what you've read.

Internal memory

How is my internal memory being used up if I have apps2sd installed?
it's not being used at all, your internal storage is just going to waste. Also, a2sd has absolutey nothing to do with memory, so it won't make your phone faster

[ Request ] External storage "swap" with internal for Xperia Z1

Please try to make a mod
External storage "swap" for Xperia Z1. that will be safe for z1
So that we can make external SD card react as our internal storage by doing this we can directly downloads every thing on our SD card and can install more HD games.
Usually 1 HD game have 1GB to 1.5 GB Data and 5 to 6 games fill up all 11 GB available Internal storage in our device, but if we exchange our internal storage with our SD card than we can fulfill our requirements by using a 32GB or 64GB Sd card

Right now I am using Gameloft to SD app for moving all my games to SD card
1) First fix your remount reboot error get it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317432
if you did not have recovery then use windows.exe installation method. Rooted device is requied
2) Download GL to SD app from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slf.ListglApp&hl=en
move your games data
3) After moving data you can play games by this method only
3.1) open GL to SD app
3.2) you will see two button on top right side, first button is mount and second one is for unmount
3.3) press the mount button
3.4) Now click on play button which ever game you like to play
4) after close the Gl to SD app all the folders unmounted, so if you want to play again you have to open GL app again and mount the games.

does External swap has anything to do with the RAM?
Swap is normal terminology for offloading the least used data to slower drives. I suspect that the op is asking for a way to use the memory card as internal storage, and vice versa.

Sorry I could be very wrong here, in that case sorry. I thought OP was referring to making a swap partition on the sd-card and using that as swap. I've seen people do this on 'low-RAM' devices to increase multi-tasking a bit. That's why I wondered what he was up to since he has 2 gigs of RAM.

yep he's looking to swap internal storage with ex-sd, I would like to be able to do that too, I have like 2gig left on internal and a 64GB card only being used for camera, photos, videos and very little music
was using that on the XZ but I stopped using it for some reason, don't remember what it was

Hmmm well you could try simlinking your internal storage to your external sd-card, or only do it for specific folders. I never tested this by the way so I have no idea what could happen if you do this, but it's an idea.
Thank you as well by the way!

I tried Folder Mount with that fix, but can't get it to work.
The linked folders will mount, but when launching the moved games, it is asking to download additional files again.
The files from the Install.bat of the fix have correctly installed on my phone as well.
So not sure what is going on.
Can you play moved game successfully on your phone?

Using external SD as memory?

I have been having problems with low memory latley causing the phone to reboot.
Is there any way you can partition off part of the internal or external SD card and allow the phone to use it as an extended memory? Kind of like windows will do with a empty usb drive?
Thanks.
Try this....

Phone - LG Optimus One
Rom - CM 10.1.5 (4.2.2) KITKAT version
Kernel - Stock
Cpu - 806/128 Interactive
Recovery - TWRP 2.6.3.0
First off, thanks for the reply.
It looks like that app is just to port applications to the SD card. Which is not really what I mean.
I dont need more space on the phone, I need more memory for the device. Think like RAM for a PC. So I would liek to partition off part of wither the internal SD or external SD so that the device can use the allocated space as extra ram. This way I can multi-task without the phone going into a reboot.
Thanks

[Q] Extend Storage of Micromax Canvas Turbo [Encrypted]

I have read the thread by nrupesh2912 on how to extend storage on Micromax Canvas Turbo phone. It is really helpful, however I have some complications:
I have encrypted my Internal storage and (maybe) as a result I can't take a NANDROID backup of my device which is essential before formatting my SD Card.
Another member FSadino has suggested that I can directly flash a custom ROM / new stock ROM to my device right after extending the storage.
I can proceed with the steps mentioned in nrupesh2912's thread for extending my storage but after the green circle part I'm little confused on how to proceed.
Can anyone please explain how to do it? I want to install Pure Xperia Z2 ROM.
I have rooted my phone and have installed CWM recovery on it.
Please Help.

Right I do not have any doubt in individual processes. What i don't understand is how do I place the zip file of ROM after extending the storage, since the memory card becomes corrupt and needs formatting?
Thanks

You have 2 options:
First flash rom then extend storage.
OR
First extend storage, format sd card, copy zip file to sd card, flash rom.

Error: Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card

I keep getting this error trying to install apps from the play store. My phone is rooted, the SD card is properly partitioned, and I can successfully link apps to it via Link2SD. The problem is that my phone seems to be very picky about what I can and cannot install. Some programs will install with no fuss, while others will give me the "Error: Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card" error. It's extremely irritating.
Please do not suggest unmounting/remounting the SD card. I've tried this. It DOES NOT WORK.

Yes. I rooted it, have TWRP, and have write-protection off (it was messing with my SD partitions).

At this point, anything. I can link stuff to my second partition, but I can't move anything to the space I set aside on my SD card. Any game, any app, is poison to my SD card.

When you partitioned your sd card did you make it ext2, ext3, or ext4 and set it to primary?

There's not much I can do since I can't actually see your phone... I know I had mine set to ext4 and primary but be sure you're using a good partitioning tool..
I don't know if FolderMount would do what you want but you can always try.
Do you happen to have the stock kernel on your phone? Because if you do it's write protection enabled and you can't use that from my experience. You need to install a kernel with write protection removed.
I installed a custom Kernel, write protection's gone. Think wiping the whole thing would help? Or installing a Custom ROM?

A custom rom could definitely help! Just make sure you make a backup of your current system and then try another rom but I can't exactly say any rom that's better than another one because I'm using a personal built rom but all the roms are pretty good and each has their own problems so be sure to read about the rom you choose closely!
