4.2 rom for TL?

Where can i find a 4.2 rom for my Xperia TL? THis is a noob question i understand, but i just joined and i love this phone i got it last week when i decided to jump ship from Windows phone OS(terrible by the way)

no i mean Jelly Bean 4.2 the newest version. The reason i ask is because it has the group threaded text messagin fix on it that droid phones have been lacking for far too long.

None that I know of yet. Fxp ids working on a cm Rom for the T, I don't know if it will support TL at a later date.

TLs purchased from AT&T won't be supported. There's a possibility that Sony may sell TLs directly with unlockable bootloaders eventually, but until then, locked bootloader that can't officially be unlocked = far less developer support.
I would have done a CM10 TL bringup if the device had an unlockable bootloader, but it doesn't. Even if exploits have allowed unofficial unlocks, I simply refuse to support devices that aren't officially unlockable on principle.

There are no 4.2 roms for the T
The closest is the cm10.1 but it is not ready for daily use yet.

With this power, I certainly hope so!

a chance is there but i dont think moto. will bring any new update for our device.
but if there are many new devices with x86 intel cpu we get a good chance to get new updates which are portable to our device.

im curious about which drug you guys used, can you tell me?
theres nothing but 4.2.2 for now, and nothing indicates the next version will be more than 4.3, so i doubt any device that doesnt come from factory with the jellybean 4.2 will have something like 5.0 when it becomes real.

Someone here on xda wrote, that Google starts a stock android for x86 processors.
So if android 4.3 is x86 ready, we will get the update in autumn.

And there is a new information of Key Lime Pie
There is a rumor that the android 5.0 its been developed for work with 512 mb of ram, so it gonna wake up the development for all the phones, an there is gonna be a samsung tablet with x86 ibtel proccesor, so, i think we gonna have at least 2 more official update and much more custom roms

Yes I read this too. Google made some comment about delaying the next version to allow more updates to Jelly Bean first. The stats suggest that that's succeeding.
I'm happy with how fast we got Jelly Bean. I think our device is well placed for the next version (very, very few devices have 4.1.2 as far as I'm aware). We have a thin 'skin' of Android, powerful device and a manufacturer that's keen to please.

Motorola...???...Update...???...MUHAAAAA...no way, never ever...we have to buy a new moto device to get 4.3 or 5.0...

Well let me tell you, they release the Razr i whit Ics 4.0.4, only 2 months later, the jb upgrade comes, and for the Razr maxx too, so i think we gonna have 5.0 upgrade when it comes

Another point to remember is that not all users are unlocked their phones so the service providers will also be a stumbling block / hindrance for any upgrades as we have all seen in the past

I lost the music unlimited integration !
And wasn't one of the 4.3 benefit is that it gots the latest Sony apps ?
Tried installing 7.9 but fails
Dono about the problems so far I am loving it

Walkman app is integrated in OS so if you have root you first have uninstall it and install the new one. If you are not rooted you have to wait for an update from Update Center app, or try different version first. At the moment I don't see any other solutions.

There's not much difference between 4.1 and 4.3 to be honest, so you might as well just stick with stock 4.1 if you don't like the aesthetics of custom roms.

I had audio issues due to the kernel, so yeah, I'm waiting for the update. Hopefully they get fixed.

Nope until other OSes start supporting KK base like CM11.
Ubuntu Touch only supports cm10.1 that android 4.2.x unless you want a phone with no camera the chances of that happening anytime soon are low.
Also ( correct me if I'm wrong) there's no fully working 4.3 base other than stock for XZ1.
But do not fear Sense 6 just got ported to N5 since N5 has nearly identical specs to Z1 a port might be coming soon. I would personally like to TRY and do that myself but exams in 3 weeks so nope.

Hmm i don't like sense and i mean with other os's, something that isn't based on android(i mean with another runtime like ubuntu...i think you know what i mean^^)
And i look forward to wp8.1 at the moment...hmm just waiting for it.
