Battery charged alert off, how? - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

On my previous Samsung it was easy, just turn alerts off and set a separate alert for SMS.
Does not work on advance.
Battery charged alerts even if notifications are turned off.
I do not want to hear this alert nor day or night.

Issues with hd7

Hello,
I am using my hd7 from the past week...The WP7 OS is pretty good, but i have some issues with the phone's hardware in general.
The battery is pretty weak, it does not even last a whole day, with moderate phone/web usage via cellular data connection. All my updates are off, push email is off (download content set to manual), Find my phone is off, the automatic updates are off as well. With all those options, my phone hardly lasts for 10-12 hours
The second issue is with the speakers. It is too low, i keep on missing calls all the time as I am unable to hear my phone. I have the sound enhancer set to dolby surround, don't know if it works for incoming calls...Anyone experiencing these issues?
My phone is charging overnight. Took the phone off the charger around 7am and didn't have to put the phone back on the charger until 10pm. I have the wi-fi on, making 2 or 3 phone calls. Not sure why your phone is discharged so quickly.
@utopia, any idea how many charge cycles your battery has been through?

Disable low battery beep?

Does anybody know of a way to disable the loud double beep you get when the battery level drops below some low point? It seems like it goes off at inappropriate times 75% of the time, such as in bed late at night while I'm reading an ebook and my girlfriend is almost asleep.
And while we're at it, how about that sound when you plug in the charger? That's always going off at the same inappropriate time...

how to limit the LED trackball?

im on cm7.2.0
i wanna know how to stop my trackball from blinking until i open and read my sms. i want it to blink a couple of time then stop..
is there any way to fix this?
Why? Battery savings will be negligible, and it would entirely defeat the purpose.
there are some settings in the led notifications settings that mention it increasing the power usage by 3% an hour. what if i get a text at night that i don't read and wake up to 27% battery that i could have saved. that's why its my concern..
Don't use those settings

Battery drain in Alarm (screen on)

Hi,
I really like the alarm/clock app on the Nexus 6. I don't use snooze but i set up like 10+ alarms for waking up in the morning. Sometimes I cannot wake up and the alarm just stays ringing after every 10 minutes. Today, I woke up late meaning alarms kept ringing for long with screen on obviously. Then, I noticed that my battery had gone from 100 to about 61 when I was in office and battery stats showed about 1 plus hour of Screen on time which was weird because i didnt use the phone that much then I realised it might have been the alarm. But 40% battery drain is too much. Any suggestions on this? Maybe how to keep screen off when alarm is ringing?

My personal suggestion is to do what I do...
Personally I keep my phone on charge overnight, and when the alarms sound off, the phone is still plugged into the charger. I actually don't take my phone off of the charger until I am about ready to leave the house.
My Alarm Clock Free on playstore has screen brightness adjustments when the alarm rings.
The battery drain may not be from just screen on time, my alarm also vibrates and that will drain battery.

How do you turn off WiFi

How do you turn off WiFi ?
I do not know why it is on ? It is paired by bluetooth to my phone and Wifi is useless.
Lately last week I can not get through a day with my watch. Display is in ambient mode but is on 1 !!!!
Trying to find and way I can keep using the watch ..... it loses 10% an hour. My average day is 6am to 10pm it is dead at 4pm.
Used to be I turned if off and back on if would drain 3% an hour and easily make it through a day but now more often than not it is down 10% an hour.
If I turn of WiFi it may help.
Settings WiFi
WiFi automatic
Select this and it sets up an access point !!!!!! I want it off and I want it to stay off.
But how do I change it from saying WiFi automatic to disabled ?
When I tap the wifi-automatic icon, it asks me if I'm sure I want to turn it off. I'm not sure what you're doing differently. Maybe if you set up an access point, then the automatic icon will switch to turning off?
If it is connected to BT, your wifi isn't being used. By default, if it's on wifi because the BT isn't being used, it will shut off after 2 hours to save battery.
For me, I got about twice the battery life when I turned off ambient mode (why do I want it showing the time when I'm not looking at it?) and set screen timeout to 10-15 seconds. I think I use it a lot, or should I say, play with it a lot. After a day of heavy use, I can usually go from 6am to about 9pm (only once did it shut down due to heavy day and excessive text notifications).
Lately I have been trying to track my sleep on it every night and just to be safe, will throw on a charger for 15-30 minutes in the afternoon or evening to ensure enough charge. Last night with a quick charge I was able to have about 60% when I woke this morning.
Not sure what notifications come through normally, but I'm running Feel the Wear along side Android Wear for a variety of notifications.
