Stable build v23 has problems with superuser. Install super su from playstore or flash the nightlies where this problem is fixed
Some functions of Rom Control do not work, one example is Signal/WiFi custom colours. Rom Control & AOKP are being worked on to bring these items up to date and fully functional.

PIE FAQ
Q. What is PIE?
A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.
Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.
Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.
Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.
Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.
Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.
Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.
Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.
Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
A.First, make sure you're running the latest version. Try doing a full wipe(wipe data/factory reset and format system) and reflash the ROM + Gapps. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.

Hey ixanza..got an idea...
How abt decompiling the camera.apk of stock....then convert it into java using jd-gui..... compare with aosp cam and make changes....or make the stock camera framework independent...... we once used labrynith apk...and turned it into our own app...for fun...but it was framework independent. Pm me if you are interested......

Actually camera is lib dependent...Samsung has closed source libs, so some of them can't work properly...

Is there any way to decompile ko files?
Cant we just change the location of the lib and paste the libs in aosp?? Are libs independent?

Not possible. .ko and .so files have protection. Even if you decompile them you won't be able to recompile them

EDIT: So far this ROM is very confusing, the paranoid per app DPI change settings don't seem to work, either the settings won't save or the sliders won't slide.

got excited and flashed it,i can confirm that sliders do not work, anyway, thanks for the rom, hoping for an update,PACrom is really fun to play with.:laugh:
This, as with ANY CM10.* ROM, must be trimmed to fit and work on our phones. Look at Rashed's threads for instructions, suggestions. A few: Anything that can be installed from Play does not belong either on the ROM of the gapps. Stuff that you will not use, take off both using any UI zip tool or Bill Wekel's trimmer. Voice recognition (old style! new will not work at all.) srec can be symlinked to sdcard. Move most the othe ringtones there as well--android will find them. Fonts which you cannot read can be removed. Etc. Etc. There is a new calendar on Play so no need for calendar.apk on ROM or gapps. Google Now, VoiceSearch and some others are installable as user-apps. Do this and remove from /system or from gapps if already done.
You do not need a lot of space on system in excess of desired gapps but you need some. Check before proceeding. If there is enough room on /system and on /data (if using link2sd, read my postings on link2sd's Achilles heel!), then everything should work.

Really want this and was unable to sync everything from github to roll my own. Meanwhile, I am on 4.2 so may wait for a 4.2 pacman.

Bugs :- Video Recording & Panaroma is not working.
Edit 1 :- Video Rec suddenly started working , issue with panaroma exists.

Lol,i can t believe we have tablet UI on our o1.The development for o1 has no limits apparently.I tried this rom,is smooth enough,something new but...not very practic.I mean the screen is 3.2 " with a 320x480 rez...text is too small,you can select anything else very often,etc.But is good work,so thanks

136 mb means a lot must be trimmed off before dreaming of flashing (a trimmed!) gapps.

Today i will improve the rom and delete unnecessary files

And by the way, are these gapps pulled from rashed's thread or these are for Paranoid Android??
Asking this because people had problems when they flashed normal gapps, but the problem got away after gapps for PA(talking about ics PA, maybe problem can arise here too)

Everything working seamlessly @beerbong. No FCs, No Ui meltdown. PA working fine on all Three modes. AOKP smooth as always. Wifi Tethering Works

Same here.. Everything working fine and seamless.. There are graphical glitches and some major one with vsync at places and during watching some videos.. But not new on this rom..
Awesome rom.. Wondering how's it diff than Rootbox and other similar roms. This one is smoother than those though..
Will give it some time to learn the battery life on this

You were right, its in Lock screen settings... Anyways, thanks for your work Papa Smurf, running this on my nexus 7 as well and the setting is in sound lol. Thanks again. :thumbup: oh and something else I noticed is that for whatever reason the lock screen slider from ROM control with 8 spots doesn't show up, only the one with 4 under lock screen settings in the normal settings menu is ever applied.

Did your try turning on/off the dark mode? What theme and font is that? Does your issue happen with the stock theme?

That worked just fine it was dark mode the issue, thanks a lot, btw theme is blue alloy cm 10.1 and the font is from Rom Toolbox Pro

PIE FAQ
Q. What is PIE?
A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space.
Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.
Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.
Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.
Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.
Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.
Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.
Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.
Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. Try a backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.
Q.What is a Experimental Build?
A. Experimental Builds are Linaro builds including O3 strict-aliasing optimizations with highly optimized TWRP recovery and a Over and Under clocked Recovery. They may get updated every week or so. These Builds can be potentially harmful to your device and are not supported by the dev by any means
Q.Can we flash this on Locked Bootloader?
A. No, This requires custom kernel and can never be flashed on locked bootloaders

The alpha phase of the release life cycle is the first phase to begin software testing. Alpha quality software has undergone only the most superficial of testing. It may contain known bugs, and almost certainly contains unknown bugs.

You can turn off dual panel. Go to Settings-Hybrid properties-Apps, choose Settings, and set Size to 320, and Layout to 360p.

Its looking good so far this is a great release!
Camera is buggy. One Photo and camera locks up. restart camera.apk resets.
But very good...
no keyboard
Have installed ROM. Full wipe but on boot I have no keyboard and therefore can't do anything.
Gapps link looks like down also.

Is it possible to install over pacman 4.2.2 RC1 like you would normally install nightlies?
I'm getting 'Stopped working errors' for:
- dialer (the phone app)
- android.process.acore
Did anyone manage it?
I think its too much work to wipe everything and go through the process of setting up everything for 4.3 android that doesn't bring anything new.

hi onejay this rom is also great nice work but want to tell u init.d tweaks nd build.prop tweaks dose not working for me i dnt know its me only or some body also have this issue just want u to know its dose not save values when i press back and open it again its going to back to original state means when i tick super tweaks and bck and again enter its autometically unchecked dnt knw wat happend

Same problem. I could not log into google account with no wifi.
Rom itself looks amaizing. I like Pacman in black feature.
I will also try to install it over CM11 without wipe.
How can i install this rom ? i do the download butt it was a folder and not a zip.
how don't know how to install a folder or if is possible...

I have zip after download.
Just Installed the ROM. Wifi Signals are weak!! testing other stuff.. My opinion is v17 was better than this one that's what i think may b i am wrong becuz the v17 interface is more attractive than this one!

Same thing happening with me also. After selecting Init.d options getting back to it shows that options are unchecked :-S

you need yo mount system as rw before applying settings, init.d tweaks work build prop tweaks wont apply if sys is r-o

This ROM is GOD DAMN FAST. Only problem I have encountered so far is that I cannot recieve MMS :/
Also everytime I rebooot the phone the nav bar appears even tho I haven't enabled it. Just enabling and disabling fixed it.
What about mobile data connection guys?
Just me and jjaagg have this problem?
