Hello. Some of you may know me as -SlenderMan- however i've given that account back to my brother since he came back from the army.
Now let's talk about bootloader. I have a bootloader status of 'Yes' meaning I can unlock it. However I decided to lock it back and do a full reset of my phone. Now the status says 'No' and i'm unable to unlock my bootloader again. Please help me. Thanks
-Erica Law

No I have a Xperia V and relocked it with a ftf I made myself when I used my old account -SlenderMan-
Re: [Question] Bootloader
Was there a preset.ta in the ftf?
You may have locked your phone for good, have you tried unlocking with the code you originally had?

I tried unlocking with the code I had but no go. Also I have used my own ftf to lock my bootloader many times and it's fine. Until today...

I'm going to try flash an ftf. See if that works. I think PC Companion might have locked mine up.
Okay I think flashing an ftf fixed it. Solved.

Yes, unlocking a bootloader causes the BE2 not to work. However, there is a method to keep it. Just search xda for backing up .TA partition

Yes, I'm sure but for the instructions and any disclaimers, search for correct thread. It's somewhere on Xperia Z forum I think.

It's too late for me as I unlocked my phone 30 minutes after I turned it on
The guy who accidentally discovered this method can confirm that it's working

you will lose your DRM keys, but BE2 will work with videos but not with pictures. This BE2 will work on stock based ROM's only. I flashed CM10.1 and result was have to give up BE under CM10.1, tried modding but no use. I compared with the screenshots taken.
other guys says that we will lose TrackID too but i never use that service so i cant comment on that.

I have used the TA partition backup method and unlocked my bootloader successfully..
I have my bravia engine intact.
The method is safe,if done properly..

Did you connected your device with QPST ??? Do you have any idea of correcting the partitions or Hex files using QPST and making the phone to get into flash or fastboot mode, i am asking this because i bricked my LT25i and struck with QHSUSB_DLOAD mode...

Bravia Engine 2 is working in my Xperia V lt25i Unlocked BL with Stamina Mode Enabled.
for me its a miracle now as for the strong reviews that BE2 will be lost Forever.
check out the pics for proof.
Note:I Only checked it Working in Videos.Yet i Didnt Noticed the BE2 working in Pictures(or It is always Enabled for pictures)
WORKED FOR ME.
check this out : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269
The Way I Flashed to get BE2 working.
install the app from market
open the app and choose BE2
Enable(ON) it and reboot the device.
(u will get a bravia.zip in ur sd\PimpMyRom\....zip)
open the app again and choose BE2 and flash it. thats all.
i flashed the zip manually through CWM.
after reboot, my device went HELL SLOW than worked as usually...

If you don't see any difference in the pictures, then unfortunately this is a placebo effect. I have BE1 on my Xperia T with unlocked BL and BE1 is working only with the videos. And I didn't flash anything at all - stock rom without any mods and .zips flashed
But I'm curious about another thing - where did you get working Stamina Mode?
My phone is T. Xperia T.

Placebo?? What it means?
A friend from Chinese forum gave the stamina Mode zip.
Working for T users also...
Check out the thread "stamina mode (alternative) " he commented there.

as the post above says.
However, that is perfectly safe to unlock your bootloader (Infact it is the only way to do it)
However, you will lose warranty.
On the plus side you can install a custom kernel to gain automatic root (Without the need to go through any other rooting methods) and install ALL custom roms.
root
if you want root xperia tx use tool DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit
Hi guys,
Is there any Android 5.0/5.01/5.02 build working on locked bootloader in Xperia Z? (C6603). My operator blocked the opportunity of unlocking it by myself
Thanks for the replies
No. Any rom that needs a custom kernel cannot be used with a locked bootloader.
Also, just for your future information: Do Not Post Questions/Help/Troubleshooting in General
