Re: Stock romslot bootloops?
Use jsnweitzel's ICS Droid 4 Utility and use option 12. It flashes the fastboot files without wiping your data. You're going to need to do it anyways to get rid of the changes safestrap makes to your system before you can OTA upgrade to JB anyway. That is what I did and it worked fine.

I agree, if you had safestrap, you should flash xml recovery file, before installing JB update

Same Issue Here
I am having a similar issue as the OP, except my battery is now dead. I can get to the menu needed to run jsnweitzel's tool, but the battery needs to be charged. Any way of charging the battery when I can only get to said menu? If I leave it there on a charger, will it charge?

Pretty sure you will need to hack a usb cable and connect it directly to the battery. Or you can order a Moto programming cable off ebay that will allow you to charge the phone.

moto phones require software to charge, when powered down, and wall charger is connected, if it does start the charging screen, it is not charging
best option is buy a TBH’s Motorola Programming Cable
which will directly power the device, from usb
you can try removing battery, and try [Howto] Fix "Battery Low - Cannot program” use with care, you can fry your battery and/or phone
or
remove battery and charge with Universal Cell Phone Mobile Battery Charger
the Droid 4 battery is not meant to be removable, so be careful
Will doing option 12 on the D4 utility do anything to safestrap? or the 2 romslots i have on there already
Re: Stock romslot bootloops?
the slots are stored on internal sd card, that is not touched, when flashing xml flashboot files
but the roms will not be compatible, with jellybean update

Here U go flashable zips via CWM 2.5.1.3
Before flash do nandroid backup (just in case)
Nice to see my battery icons in other mods Can i ask something? What else is changed in this framework? (just wondering what are the differences between those and mine for LeeDroid - maybe i could help in someway to fit them more into LeeDroid)
Oh come on.. Now I got a bootloop.
yes, I flashed the .zip with CWM 2.xxx.
What should I do now?
Restore nandroid at first (thats why i asked to make it just in case ). Than try to flash zip with Fastboot mode OFF (settings/aplications). If still wont work i have no idea wtf... u can try to push it via adb aswell. i mean only framework-res.apk to system/framework

Plus its just the framework .apk its a case of replacing the framework in the Rom to make the battery icon become default battery in the Rom losing nothing

maybe because he trying to flash over the the notification power control with new framework which would rewrite the whole thing would it not
Oh, well, I meant to write notification power control but wrote powerwidget.
And as I said, I don't think it has anything to do with the .zip I flashed because it's working before flashing the power control thing.

I would reflash your rom... what you could also do (which would basically be the same is unzip/unrar the rom file that you're using and grab the battery images out.. It should be in the framework-res.apk and replace the battery images in framework_classic then flash) That should work, if not just reflash your rom

I know that this won't solve your porblem, but the next time you are about to "play" with system files, remeber to do a Nandroid BackUp from CWR.
Then you can always go back to befor you changed anything.
Or next time, you can do an adb pull and get a copy of the file first then flash what you please. You'll always have a copy on your PC

I found one called "Always Battery" on the Market, looks pretty good and the position is adjustable as well (it can be placed anywhere on the screen, even on top of the regular battery indicator). I think it's the best option for any un-rooted Inc S.
That's great actually but I still need a stock battery icon.

This is the 10% battery icon mod for the Motorola Droid Bionic running v5.5.886. I originally saw this mod from P3Droid in his toolbox he made for the Bionic in the TBH app. (By the way buy the TBH app. It gives you many resources for your device.) I prefer to install mods in a CWM and now that cvpcs made his bootstrapper, this will now work. (Thanks cvpcs for the fixed update-binary!)
You need root, on 5.5.886, and cvpcs's bootstrapper.
Install and enjoy!
Be careful with root and I'm not responsible for bricks, explosions, or other issues that this may cause. I have tested it on my own device and not had any issues so far.

This will not work on the Droid 3 because its a completely different framework. If your on a Bionic and rooted you would apply this using this http://cvpcs.org/blog/2011-09-16/bionic_bootstrap_recovery. You flash one of the zips with that.
They both work, but when I plug it in to charge. The bar mod goes back to the old charging icon. Anyway for it to have the same charging icon as in the picture? The honeycomb one uses the same icon set when charging.
Unlocked Bootloader required. Must flash via CWM or TWRP. Do not use Safestrap.
These ROMs are mostly stable. Expect bugs and occasional instability/crashes. Flash at your own risk.

I just changed the clock and my phone still does the same. The lines start to appear slowly in red and get brighter. It's hard to see it immediately daytime but at night you can see it easily. After a minute it's very bright though. I thought it had to do with the notification light since when you set that and try to test it the same thing happened s with screen off but much faster.
I shut off notification light since then and still there also. Never seen this issue before. Either way getting the camera working is a big step! Thanks again

Looks like the CM10 download site is blocked at work for me, is there a mirror anywhere? Thanks.
Got it downloaded, working real nice so far, very smooth. I do have the lockscreen issue too. This is amazing, so glad to have CM on this phone. Thanks to all.

no battery drain for me, I removed all bloatware using Titanium backup and used Greenify app, I decided not to removed stock apps in this ROM because i don't know what people need, ^_^
Seems to be good...
I will try.....now
very simple!
Before i'll try this, one quick question for the dev.
There's one thread in general section by zoot1, what makes
your rom differ from his? The fact the both is just simply stock
without any mods added.
I'm actually in search for a fme7 rom, at least a screenshot would be nice
I just want to share my personal fast and battery friendly Rooted and deodexed ROM, i will put a Mods on my next release of samsung official 4.2.2 on my free time ^_^

ok.
this is nice a pinoy dev, keep it and hope that on next update you can add mods like sound enhancement and themes as well.
after updating to the leaked 4.2.2 my battery drains (sometimes even when I'm charging) and now takes too long to charge. I went back to the official 4.1.2 latest JB and did a factory reset but I am still having the same problems. Will this rom fix it or is it possible that my battery is now busted? TIA!

Thanks kabayan! Already tried your advise but I still am experiencing the same trouble. I might have this sent for warranty. Many thanks again!
