The D.C. Metro LTE network is live! Post your results/issues/questions from around the DMV. Let's piece together an idea of what kind of LTE coverage we're going to get.
Please also post/test:
- ROM and Radio versions
- GPS and Mobile Network Location aGPS so we can confirm working GPS ON LTE
Tested in Falls Church, VA just outside the District this afternoon. Running the .27 radio.

Great! I plan to test Alexandria West this evening. How's the HSPA+ coverage down that way?

Varies from tower to tower most provide 0.5 to 3 upload speeds and down load speeds range from 1.5 to about 14.

This is from 12th Street SW (near L'Enfant and the Mandarin Oriental). I need to flash my phone to CM10.1 tonight; the .27 and .33 radios don't play nice with the phone on Stock 4.2.2.

I'm using AOKP PUB build, .33 radio and using the LTE toggle, when the toggle is OFF I get 4G, but when I toggle it ON H+ actives; so it seems settings are backwards and when I toggle LTE OFF again, my APN profile gets deleted. I have to reboot in order to restore default APN profile, but loose fast.t-mobile APN profile.
Could you post the build.prop string so I can test?
Edit: APN - (fast.t-mobile) with rest as default, found out it doesn't matter if you're using IPv4 or 6.

If you use the camera continuous focus doesn't work. You can still use touch to focus and it will focus when you hit the shutter button but won't focus otherwise.

Can confirm that LTE is working in Chantilly, VA. Now how do I set up the phone to always use LTE over HSPA+ that will survive reboots?

Use ES file explorer to open build.prop which is in /system via es note editor. Then do the following :
Replace telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0 with telephony.lteOnGsmDevice=1
Note that this will have to be redone when switching it updating ROMs (ie flashing new Cyanogenmod nightlies)

It also allows you to enable or disable LTE through the mobile networks settings menu and with CM10.1 you can add an LTE quick toggle to the quick settings panel.
I also forgot to mention that you need to enable the root items in ES file explorer's settings menu otherwise you can't access the phone's system files.

Mine is set to lte/GSM auto and will connect to 4G lte when I am in a city with it. Montana has only a few cities with lte and mine is surprisingly not one of them.

It happened to be a bad SIM card. I went into AT&T and they put in a new one. LTE popped right up. Problem solved.

Check the following thread and see if your phone is set to LTE/GSM Auto. That would be the first step to make sure your phone will look for LTE.

There is way to do that, even punching in numbers if it works at all, which
won't, would not do it, at best it would only TEST your LTE band to make
sure it's receiving the signal properly.
Good luck!

I would go for lte/gsm/auto or wcdma/gsm auto
This way you always have chance for fallback to gsm when needed
