I love you ..........
You make me look like a tech head lol !!!!
use quick adb pusher
you can pick up the file and drop it into the top box , then in the bottom box do a folder search in the phone till you are at /system/data (as suggested by Gfhoihoi 72) then press the push file button .
if in /system/app then tick the install apk box on quick adb pusher
the writing at the bottom will tell you if the file has been pushed successfully .
then use a file explorer i use this Root Explorer
it costs but i think of it as one of my top 5 must have apps .
use root explorer (or whatever) and browse to the new file you have in /system/data (or /system/app if the other is wrong)
click on the options button for the explorer and choose change permissions
all you need to do is make sure the permissions match this
x / x / -
x / - / -
x / - / -
reboot and all should be well
although as it is an apk , i'm not sure why it has to go to data and not to /system/app , maybe someone can chip in here ?

Fantastic! It does work!
Finally, The Arabic fonts are connected properly every where in my device.
I actually did a little investigation a while back when I noticed a lot of people are crediting Arabic fixes using this method to themselves while it seems the oldest thread was posted by an American user named "madmack" here at XDA, but I did not understand his installation instructions.
So props to you for referring the credits to it's rightful owner and many many thanks.

It makes alot of difference if you put the wrong permissions , it has to be 775 or as the pic of the choices of permissions show (it has to be exact) , maybe try one more time and lets us know, as i don't want to mess up my 1.8.3 right now
ok i will try one more time as soon as i get home, i will let you guys know

Hi,
I have a Bell phone as well, its unlocked to Fido now.
But yes Azy did fix it for me.
But I think you need to do what I did 1st, Some mods on At&t do not work with Bell, Since Bell's SF has not been released, " well from my understanding ".
You need to do the following.
1 - Flash your phone to OLYEM_U4 1.4.2 Telstra.
2 - Root , use GingerBreak, " OneClick did not work for me "
3 -Deodex , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047277
4 - then apply the framework.jar with the right permissions. (rw-r-r).

Hi,

was wondering how can I delete the pre-installed wallpaper that's on the phone?
It's really badly degisned wallpaper... how to delete it?
thanks a million :fingers-crossed:
They are not in a directory.. they are on theLauncher.apkunder\res\drawableI know you can replace the wallpapers there with your own ( I've done this before) but I'm not sure If you'll be able to add more wallpapers to the gallery without replacing the default ones.
If I helped you please press thanx

Hi,
This is how I did it last night (by playing around with Root Explorer on my phone)
1. Open up Root Explorer on your X8 first..
2. then follow this path:
system > etc >customization > content > com > sony ericsson > homescreen > wallpaper (system wallpapers are here)
PS: if you can't delete the item, and it's giving you a 'read only' message, simply click on the 'Mount R/W' icon at the top of the page, which
will now turn to 'Mount R/O',, then you can now delete it..
hope that helps you mate :good:

Adding a new language to a ROM is pretty difficult, but if the UAE ROM has Arabic ( it should ), then you should just be able to copy the strings of each app, which is fairly easy. Much easier than translating them string by string that it is

Yes.. if you haven't then please do it or if you prefer not to root to save your Warranty then its your choice.. but there is a lot you can do if you are rooted but it costs you to void your warranty
And yes, Rooting in Jellybean is a very simple process... and if you want to unroot then just simply backup your apps/data and do a Factory Reset to un-root your device

ROOT Succsed , where i can find "fonts folder, framework-res.apk and your SystemUI.apk"?
@iiD4x Use any app like Root Browser Lite (search in Google Play) then go to System folder... There you will see Fonts folder.... Tap and hold and you will get the options to copy it.. do it!
Then swipe right to select your destination..... Paste it there...
Then go to framework folder and scroll down till you get framework-res.apk - copy it... Paste it.... Go back and then go to app folder... Scroll down till you get SystemUI.apk - copy it too... Paste it..
Paste them to anywhere you like and send them to me by uploading to anywhere you like.... And yes please do it on a computer or WiFi as those files in total will weigh about 20 MB
Oh yes, please note that I can't do this now as I have exams after 4 days... I will do it and either send you the download links or directly implement it on my ROM and you will get them when you will use my ROM

@iiD4x Use any app like Root Browser Lite (search in Google Play) then go to System folder... There you will see Fonts folder.... Tap and hold and you will get the options to copy it.. do it!
Then swipe right to select your destination..... Paste it there...

Adding a new language to a ROM is pretty difficult, but if the UAE ROM has Arabic ( it should ), then you should just be able to copy the strings of each app, which is fairly easy. Much easier than translating them string by string that it is

Hey hi, I should have asked this question before, but I forgot Anyways I have copied all the "language folders" for Arabic Language - but how do I add the option to "select" Arabic language from Settings > Languages and Input?
Hi guys as you can find on forum many people recommended to buy Korean version of G flex which is F340K...but you will faced with this problem:
After changing the language to English, I still can see on my phone phone dialer Korean symbols, etc. Please if any one know how to remove this "problem" from our device, let us know. Because it gives lags when I dialed the number.
Answer found (Big thanks to "Wolfgart")
1) You need to be root it.
2) Copy and replace LGContacts.apk and LGContacts.odex to the: system>>>app.
3) Set permission to rw-r--r-- (on both apk's)
4) Restart device.
5) Factory reset device. (This is very important.,other wise phone dialer still will lag).
Regards.

You have to put apk and odex file to /system/app and set right Permission to these files like others.
Then, try to wipe Dalvik Cache
