First read this thread
(You have 30 odd posts so you should know better)
You can try to flash a new theme through recovery. That should fix it.

You will have to flash older firmware via Odin. Check out these links and you should be able to get all the information you need.

To bring your phone back...download a stock rom from samfirmware.com and flash in Odin..
Download and flash (Odin) CFRoot Kernel with Busy box...and from there you can flash any custom rom and theme you want via ClockMod...

[Q] Black screen

hello i have a blackscreen samsung i9000
gan somebody help me.
I need more details on how you encounter this problem. And more importantly, can you boot into the recovery or download mode?
i have put out battey in douwnload mode
no recovery
You have to put your phone into download mode and reflash a rom with ODIN. What ROM did you flash before you encountered this problem?
Since you can boot into download mode, just reflash a new stock rom via Odin.

[Q] HELP! I've a bricked i9001

Hi guys.
Im new with rooting and flashing so here is my story:
I rooted my phone, then i dit go to recovery mode. But without clockworkmod. Then I clicked update. And selected the .zip rom file. After installation, it did boot, then shut off, then boot, then shutoff endless. So I thought maybe I should install feamod now. So I did that via odin (I could go into download mode) And then I cant get to recovery mode anymore, now it is download mode, shut off, download mode, shut off. And than I thought maybe install a custom rom. So did I: Android 2.3.6, and when installed via odin: download mode, shut off. AGAIN!!!! WHAT CAN I DO PLS?!?!?
Kind regards, nikosb10
First calm down ! Then get into download mode dowload a firmware for your phone from samfirmware.com and flash it as onepackage file via odin. After it booted again make a factory reset and wipe dalvik cache, cache and wipe all data everything should be fine again.
one way to solve your problem is to flash a stock kernel but u will loose ur all data(if u dont have a backup)then root ur device and do ur thing

You have to flash a stock firmware (custom firmware as a odin package does the same), if Odin doesn't work correct for you, you should visit this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_Plus/GT-I9001

thanks in advise ><
note ( recovery mode change from CWM to Samsung recovery mode) << i think it has been unroot since i flash the official firmware?
Download PhilZ kernel zip file, 5.08 or other version, then flash it using stock recovery. Then boot into recovery. You will have PhilZ kernel. From there you can flash do clean to install, then can flash custom jb 4.1 rom in zip file.

The stock ROMs are here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
Get your stock ROM
Download mode on phone
In Odin select PDA only and the stock ROM from above forum
Flash and wait a while.
Hopefully you have a working phone again.
Shalom and good luck, John

my phone can't boot

hello everyone,
I rooted my galaxy ace S5830 using single one click. after that used the stock recovery to install CWM (i changed the name to update.zip and use it from my SD card). By this i lost my recovery option.
I started the phone and used the CWM.apk installed in my apps to flah the recovery again, at this point after restart by the app, the phone stuck and don't start or enter the recovery.
Ican enter download mode (Only word downloading is diplayed on the screen). Now when i try to download the stock ROM or the CWM using Odin, it take very long time and stop at the same point (download MIBIB file). WHen trying to download the recovery using odin, it stuck in the download .img file.
U tried it with different odin versions, but all stuck.
Any advice?

Hello, thank you for repalu. I can boot on the download mode only. I solved it after correcting the (OPS) file name. I found a post on another site said it must be (Cooper_v1.0.ops). After doing that, i can use Odin normally to download the recovery CWM and stock ROM.
