Yeah I asked a couple developers to give me step by step directions on how to port over roms, but no help as usual. Willing to port over as much as possible, no love on the tmobile side.

Yes I tried all the roms for the t879, avatar is ok. I always get random reboots followed by a blue screen and it gets very choppy after a few days of running the rom. Would be easier to just have the i717 roms ported over, rather than flash 20zips to get a running rom. Im willing to work with anyone who wants to bring more to the table for the t879.

[Q] The Best ROM ??

Hi
I have N1 and I tried so many roms in it but every time I face a problem
can you tell me the best rom you have and dont have any problems
because I am tired of installing and wiping
and thank you
Nice first post.
It's kinda lame to come ask us to tell you our OPINION about the best ROM, because you want to save some of your time...How do you think we found our favorite roms??
All roms will have problems, even stock google roms.
Don't be lazy, get to flashing. Titanium Backup does wonders bytheway.
Please HELP me i tried so many before posting this

It's really just the principle of the matter; no rom is better than any other rom.
Choosing a rom to fit your needs is the best, and most interesting (imho), part of owning an android phone; there's just so much to choose from!
If that's not your thing, there's a new shiny iPhone with your name on it waiting at the Apple store. *sarcasm*
Stock Froyo FRG83 = Stable
Desire Port = Beautiful
MIUI = Fast ( not Done but very Stable)
CM6 = Fast (not Done, not really Stable)
Depends on your taste..

I am curious, however...Is CM6 really all that unstable?

hi guys,
i am new to thinking.
can one of you tell me is it better to try things out for myself (makes my head hurt...) or should i just let others do the thinking for me (easier!)
i am also new to teh internets.
can someone tell me where to get pictures of cats with funny captions?
i would google it, but its actually easier to create an XDA login, post something here, and wait for a response.
thanks!!!

What's wrong with you? Is this how you support a developer who is working hard to give you a nice ROM for your phones for free? What's going on with you?
Way to discourage people who do hard work and expect nothing in return. Really, well done, clanking down on people like this. That's exactly what this forum is for, right?
This is something I would expect an iPhone user to write. "No need for other phones cuz my iPhone is the best and so unique." This is not something I expected to ever have to read on an Android DEVELOPMENT forum.
Shame on you.

[ROM][GB]MokeeOS-Nexus s V1.10.436(AUG.24.12)

MOKEEOS
Hi Everybody,
This is my first ever rom on XDA. I am not a dev, i just ported this GB base rom to nexus s. I already tested everything. It works fast with out any problem. Also I have to thanks Galaxyuser who helped me to fix googleplay fc. As you know He ported this rom already to nexus s. This is the latest version of mokeeOS.
Credit goes to:
mokeeos team
Cyanogen-mod team
Galaxyuser
if you notice any bugs please post it.
if you like my work please hit thanks button.
Note1: Gapps already included
Note2: If you have problem with su permission simply just flash this .zip file and youll e good. The problem is, mokee team has included the SuperUser into the rom, I tried to removed it but its related to framework stuff.
Installation:
If you are coming from ICS/JB roms you need to perform a fullwipe.
Issues:
- The only thing I have noticed so far , when you press About phone in setting you get FC, but other than that everything else works smooth.
P.S: This rom is meant to be for who want to experience a new GB rom with new UI, So please dont spam my thread. Also I am not responsible for whatever can happen to your phone. Flash it at your own risk.
