Evervopv and aokp and cm9 all has some bugs but they are all harmless, and will not brick the device. I know they are not fully working but that is not the same as they are not safe to use.
Perhaps you can explain what you mean in that statement?

Evervolv jellybean 4.2.2 worked just fine for me now using the rootbox rom and I only found the headsets bug.

I don't think their is one with sense 4 and a working camera. Icecoldsandwich has a working camera and is stock icecreamsandwich without sense.
When HTC release the official ics for our phone then we will have a sense 4 rom in the Dev section which everything works.

[ROM] Just some better base ROM

Working ICS stock ROM for the XL
IMPORTANT: The update script will automatically delete all caches and all user data!
<-- you should really read that!
BB_P33.zip RS FTP (Old Partition Layout)
BB_P34.zip RS FTP (New Partition Layout)
What ROM should I use?
- Is there an ICS hboot on your device? -> P34
- You've never flashed an ICS ROM using RUU -> P33
How to get root?
- install the BB_root.zip (after installing the rom)
- download the Superuser APP
Why the hell did you not root the ROM?
- It's a fixed stock ROM... How I see it, a rooted is not stock anymore
- Other developers might want an untouched version if they use this as base
Changes:
Nothing!
Did you read about the update script? ... Anyway, I told you

Nice to see you back!
This fixed all issues for the stock one?
Should be updating the base of mine later on today
Ahh the man who started the senseless is back. So can this base be used for further projects with your blessing of course. Be interesting to test the new partition layout but I guess I would have had to flash an official ics ruu to use that one. No official Europe ics update but should be in next few weeks. Is it rooted?

This is a new rom, 2.31.401.2 (HTC Europe), not the Asia one
I did not try it much, but everything should at least theoretically be working
EDIT:
@shingers5
No changes (but it's a HTC test build)
Awsome so we can have fully working ICS rom without updating hboot?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio X315e using Tapatalk 2
yes, it should work just fine with the old hboot
Does anyone have a mirror for these. Rapidshare gets blocked by the providor here

I thought that Dannys base was just an asian RUU, which he then made a flashable .zip file out of?

the kernels are NOT the necessary part of a CM or MIUI roms.
have a Look at motorola defy plz.
with locked bootloader, defy still gets CM and MIUI
so kernal is not the key problem

Yeah i understand that, ive seen cyanogen mod running off stock kernel before, but obviously that would take some serious tweaking of CM and we have no CM project started

I'll try and put a kernel together for you

hey this is not Asian kernel...is it??? does it mean that ICS will come soon to EU?
This is good news as hopefully now we can get sense 4 fully functional. Hopefully we can use some of these files to also get miui further along.

Installing custom ROM on HTC One Dev Edition

I was wondering if the HTC One Dev Edition (US) is capable of installing custom roms based on " 1.29.401.13" ?? I'm curious because my phone is currently on "1.29.1540.3". Not sure if the "1540" is region specific which could cause things to not operate correctly. Let me know Thanks in advance
