What functionality that initial charge of 30 minutes recommended by Sony before switching on a smartphone for the first time?
And if you do not?

my phone just died .. JUST!
in the morning after the alarm belled, my phone can't be charge.
I used my cable or charger, none is working.
I think that it is my hardware problem ? ..
ANYONE HELP !!?!?
If the phone's on, reboot and try again. Or shut it down. Take the battery out. Leave it like that for 5 seconds. Try charging again.

Hello,
One probable reason is that battery totally lost energy..use a universal charger to charge the battery for at least 30 min..try re-inserting battery to phone then..and charge via x8 charger

First it wasn't working but after a day it started working. Maybe a small malfunction
now I don't touch my phone while it's charging
You can call me lucky

may be its because your battery life has exhausted and you have to replace the battery
or
your micro usb port on the phone may be damaged
or
the phone may be charging but the led light is just not blinking, simply leave the charger connected to the phone and switch on the power just like you do to charge any phone and wait for half an hour or so. try rebooting your phone.is the phone charged now?
Just try and unbricked ur phone.I know it's a battery problem but just try unbricking it.Make sure to make a backup before doing anything else.

Hi all, is there any recommended way for start using a new battery? I.e. used until finish before first charge or straight charge to full after replace old battery? For first time full charge, need to over charge it, I.e. 8 hours?
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. I had start using the new battery. This is the first time I used until left 0% and it still able to sustain more than 20 minutes with 3G and WiFi hotspot on. Anyway to calibrate it? I already wipe battery stats in recovery before start using the new battery.

You'll need some sort of rapid charger. Not sure if they exist though. More then 2 hours is about right. I have same experience but it doesn't bother me.

No.
They broke my signature...
No, it wont cause any damage. Also, leaving it connected to the charger overnight will do nothing. You can't overcharge a smartphone battery, they are protected against it.

You can read this info too on the XSP's user manual pdf, sony stated about the battery there
Just make sure you use original plug
Sent from my C5302
Battery won't be damaged by much while doing this. It would just be slower charging if you're using the normal 5W wall plug, or even see the battery draining while charging through connection with computer (via USB).
im gonna say yes
