I thought the same...only to find two folders and an .apk.....I couldn't find the file I was looking for...I will give it another stab right now

My question is that if I flash this, does it wipe any mms themes i might have. Or does it just swap png? Flashed one of these before and it trashed my mms themes. Now I got to manually do this every time I switch roms.

[Q] 4.2 Camera

Anyone could get 4.2 camera working? I have already put the .apk and libs manually via adb, then set permissions. The new 4.2 gallery works, but when I switch to camera the screen goes black and have to restart the phone

Link with zip is down, maybe there is some *.so file that needs to be installed too.

Have you already tried to...
Use a root file browser/editor go to /system and open for editing build.prop
edit the prop files...
Ro.product.model change to Galaxy Nexus
Ro.product. brand. Change to Google

I didn't. I will wait for custom recovery.

I think there is no need to touch build.prop, im using a patched apk to work In any jb device, already used it In other devices, this is the first that gives me problems, maybe related to odexed system or symlinks, hope we can fix it

Hm, tried everything here, with the filter files too, but camera do not work get 'Galeria parou', in english would be something like 'Gallery stopped'.
Gallery and Editor is fine.

yeah man..i dont find the photosphere anywhere in this samsung rom..i flashed JB mainly to check out Photo sphere cam and i am very disappointed..so anyone with a working apk like the s3 ?

It is not just apk, you need some other files to get it work.

Because we just got 4.1.2, and there is a big possibility that nobody tried it. And I post link to the thread where somebody posted how to install it. 3
Develepment is at begginging, we do not have custom recovery... So it is a bit slower to try something new. I do not want to reinstall stock with Odin if I get bootloop becouse of trying some app, and it get me bootloop.

okay..if someone gets the camera working pls let me know :] ..also a tutorial would be nice..i am new to all this stuff..i flashed JB for 1st time and i am going to root it using shaan's method that doesnt increase binary counter..i dont know what a custom recovery is so anyways keep us posted..

You can use this with fresh install or not. If you don't have fresh rom you must wipe dalvik cache in recovery

@OP:Would you update to another sever(i know google is good but cant download by phone).

this odex is only for cm7 and other rom with base of cm not for base rom of samsung. I'm working to create a version for samsung rom

you can use titanium backup pro to odex your rom... you can also de-odex... in titanium backup pro goto More> integrate sys dalvik into rom

whats up guys.
may need your help. check out ge port by gruesome wolf info is there. i thougt that since ge based rom has sense based kernel and framework it wouldnt be too difficult to port over and here we go lol.
Camera is not opening for some reason. AOSP one works tho so think its a little lib issue.
Also mediacacheservice dieing which is connected to the gallery fc that im having.
Oh, and data isnt working. gotta rest tho 1:30am

Hello guys. This time I've made a new update from the previous development.
This is the next version of HyDroid ROM. And this time I've bought a couple of changes that will enhance the overall performance of the device.
New Features include:
CF-Rooted.
S5 UI.
Xperia Z3 Walkman.
ViperFX.
S5 File Manager.
Custom Bootanimation Support.
Quick boot.
Ultra Power Saving Mode Launcher.
Removed Bloatwares.
Mi Ringtones, Notifications and Alarm tones.

The ROM is customized and as far as the UI is concerned it will provide you a little S5 like feel. It's boot up time is reduced and battery is good. But a tiny warning guys, try not to add custom kernels or any modules since you'll have plenty of issues like internal partition will go missing or apps keep force closing... Music player pause when device flipped is disabled since the default player is removed. Belle UI app may force close but it can load icons from the launcher settings.
And this time I've uploaded the ROM on AFH, therefore further updates will be hosted on AFH and/or GDrive.
Installing guides:
1. Reboot to recovery. If using rooted stock ROM(Not GenNXT or Xperia Z ROM) go to terminal and type the two codes:
Code:
su
reboot recovery
Other ROM users have advanced reboot option so it'll be easy to do it.
2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset or Clean To Install New ROM.
3. Advanced Options->Wipe Dalvik Cache.
4. Install ZIP from External SD.
5. Choose HDRv3.zip & Install.
6. Reboot.

It actually means it runs on base 4.2.2 & is like 4.4.2 and features both the ROM's feature my friend !!

Yes my friend! And you can also set CM wallpapers and Xperia wallpapers and I have also added some Iron Man Jarvis sounds . But the start up sound alone would be less... That is the sad thing..
