Bootloader Unlock Allowed: NO to YES - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi friends.
I have a LT29i and when I tried to unlock it's booloader i faced the "NO" Obviously I searched all the internet for some weeks to know how to solve my problem, and the solutions I found were just about using Testpointers or paying to Wotan.
I gave up, but suddenly after playing a little with stock versions of ICS, I just looked again at my Services - Configurations and I found out my status now was 'YES'
This worked for me, I don't know if it's going to work with your device, but I found a way to unlock my bootloader and wanted to share with everybody. If your phone turns into a rock or start flying, I'm not responsible, don't blame me.
Cutting to chase:
1. Flash in Flashtool:
Xperia TX 7.0.A.1.307
[STOCK FIRMWARE] Xperia "TX" T29i_7.0.A.1.307_FTF
Check if you status is still "NO", if it's already "YES" just jump all the following steps and unlock your bootloader by Sony mode.
2. Root:
Use Bin4ry tool
3. Install Recovery for ICS:
Use this
4. Now, use your phone for some time, and check if the update to Xperia TX 7.0.A.3.197 appears in your phone via OTA (Configurations - About the Device - Software Update) . If it's its all ok the update will appear.
When the update shows, just download it. Before install do a reboot and install.
Let the phone do it's work ...
5. You must be now in a rooted 7.0.A.3.197 Stock ROM with Status "YES" -- So just unlock your bootloader by Sony official way.
I'm having not much free time in the last days, so in the next week, I'll make a more informative Thread with Links, and screenshots as I can,
good luck.

Hmmm, I am very dubious about this...

Hahahaha, I know it looks too simple for a problem like this, but worked for me, why wouldn't work with more people....

I am actually bored enough to give this a shot.

You can unlock the bootloader with wotan?

If you find the wotan server online, from what I know it had not been online for 6 months

Flash an ftf-, make root, install CWM, wait for OTA and then you have unlocklable bootloader that can be unlocked.
Yes you are right, not many people will believe this.

Thats because it is total bollocks,I suggest this thread is reported and locked.
there is no change as suspected

Thread locked, will only get opened if OP can prove this really works.

"Cannot" as in never? or is this something that may change in the future? Because I just received my phone in the mail today, and this locked bootloader is very disappointing. I might just return this phone if unlocking is not an attainable option for me.

check the service menu. It will tell you if it allows you to unlock it or not. Its always worth a bit of reasearch about this before laying out £350 or getting into a 2 year contract....

Updated TL Lt30a 9.1.F.1.120 boot user to remove bloatwares

I have just fortunately received and installed the update for my TL Lt30a (AT&T) v.4.1.2.
I used to have a root software loaded within the older version and had Root Explorer with SU from where I downloaded the root software from.
But with the new update, also came with the annoying bloatwares that compromised the battery life of my phone. I know there's a new feature that extends battery life, but I dont have the need or use for the AT&T apps.
Is there a new root software already available to remove these?
Or a site that I can be directed to the right direction and get the unwanted apps off from my phone.
Thank you,
Sorry if this was posted already before, but if there is a link to that thread that has already started commenting below would be just enough.
How about searching first buddy? If you Google "Root Xperia T 4.1.2 or Jelly bean" I promise you will find your answer in less than 1 minute.
In any case. Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
Good luck!

and BTW the AT&T model is the LT30at not LT30a which is for our northern neighbors.
Always a pleasure to see Spectre51 and augie7107 comments.

Guess I need to get a different internet service.
But for anyone else with AT&T and recently installed the new firmware. Hope the link above provides a simpler search on finding the solution to root your phone.
Good luck and credit to all that helped me out tons and with those affiliated within the link above.

Welcome to XDA. Sorry for the late reply.
You can't remove the AT&T apps unless you have root access.
To unlock from network you will need a code. These can be obtained from AT&T if your contract has been satisfied or you can purchase a code on-line from a third party.

Bootloader

I got my new Xperia Z today, but was sad to find out that the bootloader is locked
In your device, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

Mine sadly says No. I'm guessing I'm stuck with the stock Rom Sony placed on there?
I have my device rooted, but it's not as fun as being able to have CM or something
So, I'm guessing there is nothing I can do?

You need a custom kernel. And to install one, you need an unlocked bootloader.. which will break your warranty on many cases, so be careful

Already unlocked my bootloader,
Sorry, I'm a rookie at android devices, where can I get a custom kernel
And what do i need to do after that?
EDIT: It seems we replied at the same time! haha.. nevermind what I said below then....
Also note that a lot of our Xperia T's bootloaders are NOT unlockable. There is a code you can dial on your phone to take you to a service menu where it will tell you if your bootloader is unlockable. If it says No, then your bootloader simply cannot be unlocked. Then you can join the many of us who patiently pray and wait for someone out there to crack or work around it
