Hey guys I habe updated via ODIN to 2.2.1 recently and I now
want to unlock my phone to all networks (simlock remove)
Is it possible for the new android version?
Exxorzist
Have you tried sgs unlocker?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Yes, I unlocked my Phone on Android 2.1 EClair and it is still unlocked on 2.2.1 JPU. These are not iPhones, therefore they do not require a hack.. Hell samsung stores the unlock code on your phone!
SGS Unlocker says to me:
"Sorry no codes found
File not found: Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S?"

I think you need to have root for the unlock to work in Froyo. If possible dowgrade to Eclair, unlock and upgrade back to Froyo ... or get root in Froyo first.
Its probably unlocked, have you tried another sim on it yet?

In settings, there is Location & Security, & you find Set up SIM card lock. HAVE YOU DONE THAT? Verify.
When you put in another SIM, is it asking for a PIN to use phone?

sorry for my bad english.
I put in my other sim card and first it asks me for a pin. So I enter the pin and the it asks me for a "network- unlock code" (i think that's what it's called in english).
Is this a used phone you bought?
I think the original owner put a SIM lock code on it. Worst case, you bought a stolen phone.
If you can put the phone to download mode, why dont you try flashing a 2.1 ROM? See if it works.

I bought this phone with a contract from "3"-Austria. I'm the first owner.
So now I want to go to Poland to visit my family and put in another sim card.
The usual Pin it asks me I enter sucessfully and then it pops up this messege:
"Siim network unlock Pin".......
-->I think this is the code I need.
When i enter *#7465625#
it says: --> Network Lock [ON]

Try this thread, & ask the developer if he can help you.
you should try what i suggested. the link i posted comes from the the app sgs unlock. try pressing the menu on sgs unlock app and choose generate NV_Data.bin it will lead you to the link i posted earlier.
the tutorial will replace the files that locks your phone. thats why you should make a back up on your /efs folder for warranty or emergency concern.
tried it successfully with 2.2

Do you know if this could work also on gingerbread 2.3.5?
First off: I am a noob, both here and when it comes to rooting/flashing/etc. I am speed-learning out of necessity LOL
I cant seem to unlock my phone's sim card pin no matter what I do... I have a Samsung Galaxy S gt-19000M, it was purchased in Canada and used for years on the Bell Aliant network. I have now moved to Belgium and would like to use this phone with Base network here. I love this phone and would prefer to not have to buy a new one
But of course when I put in a local sim card it asks for a pin code and Bell Alliant refuses to give it to me.
So I rooted the phone with SuperOneClick, and put on busybox (I thought it was installed through SuperOneClick but the galaxy_s unlock app was complaining of busybox errors), terminal emulator, root file browser and titanium backup.
So far I have tried:
-> galaxy_s unlock app
Result: it looked like it worked but no dice
from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7776555#post7776555
-> Hex edit
Result: still asking for pin code after reboot
-> SGS Unlock Tool apk
Result: cant find codes
-> generate unlock code for windows
Result: errors if my phone is connected to the PC, if I copy nv_data.bin into the folder and run it like that it gives me a code that did not work (20404)
from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8942669&postcount=94
-> attempted setting the pin to "12345678" (it asked for 8 digits)
Result: the inserted pin didnt work
GalaxSim still says it's locked and sounds like the pro version would work but I cant try any paid apps since the only sim card it accepts doesnt have an account attached to it anymore so I have no compatible sim card with a phone account that could be used to pay for an app...
So....... 2 of 3 pin attempts used up and not sure what to do short of a full factory reset >_<
I then did a factory reset, doesn't reset the pin code attempts (of course), galaxy_s unlock and sgs unlock tool still wont work
Now I downloaded a factory rom and am considering to learn how to flash the phone >_>
Fingers crossed I don't brick it!
My question: Am I missing something?
Did I skip something really noobishly obvious?
Please someone tell me I made a stupid mistake and make this all go away!!
Please? >_>
EDIT:
Ok so I'm a noob alright... I think I have been trying stuff for the wrong model -_-
Which means this is probably posted in the wrong forum section too, I'm sorry...
Back to square one I go
Hi, I bought a phone in the states, apparently it was unlocked but I guess it's not.
It's rooted, it has busybox installed.
I've installed the rom pa_n7000-3.56-27MAI2013-063155.zip (paranoid android) and after doing it, the phone asks for the sim unlock code which I have not. I've read plenty of threads and Galaxy S Unlock seems the way to go. I followed the steps but it wouldn't work.
Step 1: Save actual efs folder? after clicking yes i get the messate "One efs save exists, for made new save, delete or rename it." I click Ok and then i head on to step 2.
Step 2. Sim Unlock: change lock-bytes for unlock.. Sim unlock? click yes and after a while the phone goes black (not turned off, just like when it's idled, So I press a key, and it shows the Galaxy_S Unlock saying "Done: If the signal work: use step 3, if the signal don't work: restart your phone and use step 3. (Some of the times I've tried it, the program goes black and says "Galaxy S Unlock is not responding.. wait /stop)
Honestly I don't know if the signal worked, but I've tryied both options and still, everytime time I reboot the phone it asks for the sim unlock code.
Any idea that I could try for fixing the issue? Thanks a lot.
Hey Guys
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I've searched all over but not found any solution though.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830V. I previously bricked it and restored stock firmware and now when i turn on my device it says Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830I. The problem with this is that i now wanted to unlock my phone and when i use the Vodafone Unlock Tool (found by searching "vodafone unlock tool") and when i enter the unlock code into the Network Unlock thingy it says "Network Unlock Unsuccessful". I think that the problem is because the unlock tool says its for GT-S5830V and my firmware has changed to GT-S5830I. Please, does anyone know where to find the stock firmware for GT-S5830V or is there a way i can FULLY restore my phone to when i bought it instead of just wiping all the apps off (because all it does it wipes all the apps off and doesn't actually "restore to factory defaults")
Please correct me if my understanding of the problem is wrong and if somehow i can get my hands on another unlock code without paying some weird "unlock your phone here" website.
Thanks in advance

I tried doing the solution on that link and it didn't work. so i clicked on the link that was on that post that said improved method and i got everything right until the hex editing where the hex search didn't work so i couldn't find the code.
Does anyone else have any ideas? I had to pay another $20 on vodafone so i can still call and text so at the moment my new sim is just a waste of money so i desperately need a solution.
Thanks again for your attempt at helping and your quick reply:good:

Bro, did you run Install after you installed BusyBox on your device? You should check the comments from the site. Most of guys who didn't open the BusyBox app and run Intall received this error. While doing a full Install solved it. Do post your result. Hope I helped

Try to follow this video. As per the video, if you get "or or or" error, run Smart install again on BusyBox. If that doesn't work, I also found a site on the comments of this video. It seems the site unlocks any phone & it's free cause they run on user donations. I have no personal experience with this site, so use at your own caution.

I think that when you re-flashed the rom from brick the phone got network unlocked. Did you try another sim before trying to unlock it?

Yes i tried with Amaysim.
I got a reply from Vodafone and they supplied me with a master reset code. I followed the method provided and when I entered the reset code into the phone keypad, it said "Mobile Network not Available". I guess I just have to take it to Vodafone to get it unlocked. Will they unlock a rooted phone or will they not accept it? If they wont then i can just unroot it.
Guys I found a confusing solution. While on my way to Vodafone I unrooted my device just in case they didn't allow rooted devices. Once i got there the guy must of thought i did something wrong with the unlock code so he decided to get the unlock code for me. Once he got the unlock code he switched the sim cards to enter the code but strangely we were not prompted to enter the code and the sim just worked. I rooted my device again to see if that was the problem and I was prompted to enter the unlock code so it was so i unrooted it again. But unfortunately nothing seems to go right for me now and now I can only connect to wi-fi if my device is rooted. If i try to connect while unrooted it will attempt to obtain the ip address for a while until it gives up and says the network is disabled. Does anyone happen to know a solution to this problem?
Thank you to everyone who tried to help
Reflash the stock rom with odin and remod it.

Hi everybody, I don't know if this will help all you but this is what worked for me (Android 6.0.1):
1. On the setup wizard (after factory wipe), connect to internet (wifi/data)
2. Select "Emergency call"
3. Call to any valid number (112 for example)
4. When the calls start swipe to the left on the dialing screen and you will see message and browser displayed (in my case the message method doesn't works).
5. Select browser.
6. Go to google.
7. Search for Package Disabler Pro 9.8
8. Download it and install it.
9. Open it and search for "Samsung account".
10. Click on Clear Data and then Disable.
11. Go back to google and search for QuickShortMaker
12. Install it and open it.
13. Search for "Setup Wizard", it will expand.
14. Select the one with ".setupwizards.SetupExitActivity"
15. Done! You can now use the phone and restart.
Ok after this you can go and check that there is no Samsung account displayed (Settings>Accounts), buuuuut, you can't add it . What I did was:
1. Go back to Package Disabler Pro and enabled "Samsung Account".
2. Then go to Settings>Back up and reset
3. Factory data reset
4. Asked for Samsung account and I inserted my real account.
5. Done, now I can sync with my account.
The oooooooonly issue that I can't figure out it's the way to remove the "Reactivation lock" from Settings>Lock screen and security>Find my mobile.
Well that's all hope it works for you guys.
If this doesn't work for you, you can check out unlockjunky, they will definitely be able to do it.
Good luck!!

Mate, you are an absolute legend! I've been searching for 8hrs looking for a solution after hard resetting my phone and being unable to get past the Samsung Account lock afterwards (even though I had the right username & password!) About fifty useless/outdated YT videos & a few hundred websites/forums later - none of which were helpful, I finally stumbled across your post, despite it not showing up 8hrs ago when I came straight to XDA hoping to find a solution first.
I have an improved method for #2, 3 & 4 of your post and will add all relevant info soon (just need some kip now that the panic is over). I'll also expand a little on some details and include further options which worked in my particular case, but all n'all - you're an absolute legend mate and I'd be screwed & still panicking without your shared info. Huge thanks...

You have to dial an emergency number or this trick doesn't work. Its not practical for most folks but if you are worried about dialing an emergency number I'd recommend using a SIM out of a tablet that isn't phone number enabled.

Look for Aptoide apk download it to sd card and search for package disabler in this app and install it or download and copy Pachkage disabler you your sd card and run via file explorer or download and run ES File manager as I did.

stock 5.0
Did you get it figured out I got the edge 6 plus to work fine now it was one of the tougher ones and I've done a few on some newer models what are you stuck on?
I thought the Combination Firmware would reset the FRP lock by default after being installed.
first thank you for sharing ur experience and i want to add
that i done it step by step and it works nicely but still cant remove the reactivation
and here is how iv done it after i bypassed it using ur method
i flashed a lower modem file from stock rom N910VVRU2BOG5 which is 5.0.1
at this point my imei went off
so i went for full flash by N910VVRU2BPA1_N910VVZW2BPA1_N910VVRU2BPA1_HOME. which is 5.1.1 and did full hard reset
then i just signed in with the last Samsung account i used with ur method earlier and it passed so now i can easly remove reactivation mark , unlock and root then make it Arabic .
thx again
Did you ever post up the suggested steps to replace #'s 2-4 in the original post above? I'm not seeing them anyplace. This would be a big help. Thanks.
When I call I can't swipe to the right is there another way to open browers
I successfully used this to gain access to my phone but I believe that if I power cycle it I will be locked out again. Is there any way to remove or change the samsung account now that I am in? The options are greyed out in settings.
ADB and Root.
Hey, I have been working on these for a while keep finding new things each time I try to remove Reactivation Lock. However I was wondering if I show you guys how to enable ADB with RSA Key, and Root the device. Could someone show me how to remove the Reactivation Lock using root. I used other methods on older and newer models, but these S5's are the only ones giving me issues.
After weeks of going mad trying different solutions I've found online, here's what worked 100% for me just last night:
Login to Samsung Account on other device, select Password & Security, enter password then choose Devices. LOG-OUT of your S6 Edge if listed, confirm. Next change password - doesn't matter what, can even change it back afterwards.
Flash Lollipop (I used G925VVRU4BOK7)
Wipe Data/Cache
Boot fresh Stock firmware, enter/confirm network details, at Reactivation Lock prompt, enter user & updated password. Sign-in....
Settings -> Lock Screen & Security -> Find My Mobile. Unselect Reactivation Lock and enter password... voila!
Works for anybody else??
when i made the call the wifi turn of
