Hello guys,
I had been using Slimbeans ROM for the last few months and found it to be really good. However just recently I was trying to do a video call and found that the Slimbeans ROM hasn't got the video call feature in the dialler at all. Is this due to the stock dialler carried over from the stock ICS ROM released for the Galaxy Nexus? Would I need to change my default dialler to something else? What do you recommend I replace the default dialler with to call someone's mobile number with video feature?

What happened if the person you're calling doesn't have access to wifi to use Skype? Wouldn't the video feed become laggy and affect the voice quality as well?
Just got my HTC one, non rooted, stock firmware.
When i downloaded facebook messenger and tried to enable it to hijack sms/mms by going to the options screen, the option to enable it is missing. Funny that it works on my xperia z but not htc one.
Anyone with the same issues? Or did i get a weird set?

anyone?
I happened to find the same thing on one of my phone.
The option is here on my Galaxy Note but not on my Acer Gallant. What's weird is that I have not seen a lot a people talking about this.
SMS settings disappeared after I upgraded from Android 4.0.4 to 4.1.2. Hope they fix it soon. Reported it. If anyone knows how to fix, please tell us. Thanks.
I also have this issue and have been searching for a fix with no result. It is a direct result of an upgrade to a 4.1+ base from 4.0.x. I have tried modifying build prop values to see if facebook messenger was somehow disabling the feature based on android version but have not had any luck. What is curious is if you restore messenger from a backup made on a working ROM/device, it does enable the setting briefly and for a single use. Once the app realizes it's authentication is out of sync with Facebook main it requires you to resync and you will lose the feature again. I have found minimal forum posts about it, I believe some other devices are free from issue on 4.2.x though.
Hello, a while ago i noticed a problem with the google talkback app, which is used by our phone for example to read out loud the callers name or give us a voice feedback in th Endomondo app. The problem is that afer the last update which was a few months ago the voice from the app has completely disappeared and whichever voice and language i download and choose ther is only the silence when i try to listen to a smple, or in endomondo or when it should read the callers id.
When i unistalled the update the voice started working good and its possible to use the google talkback without a problem.
However, the last update brought polish language to the app, and without the update i cant enjoy it..
Does anyone else have the same issue as me and my mototola?
Perhaps somebody found a solution to this issue?
I wrote an email to google concernig this but i got silence in return...
hey, does nobody else have issues with google talkback like me?
please help and at least comment that for you its working fine...
Yeah... The update for TTS is not working on the RAZR i... you can read a couple of user comments on the play store written by Razr i users. Nobody seems to care about that. Maybe we have to contact google about the problem.
EDIT:
Just installed the latest update and its working again YIPPI!
Hello Everyone,
So I flashed my Verizon LG G2 from KitKat 4,4,2 to stock 4.2.2 thankfully, but the problem I am having is, I am missing the Visual Voice Mail App, I mean I have the old one that comes already installed which is version 2.2, I believe , but I want the one that is 3.0 , here is why:
As you know that Verizon now offers a free Basic Visual Voice Mail, and I did have it working on Kitkat, but not on Jelly Bean.
So Please Please Please, I am happy that I flashed my phone to 4.2.2, so if you can post a .apk file for the Verizon LG G2 Visual Voice Mail App that comes with KitKat 4.4.2 , since it is free to use and it saves me a lot of time to dial *86 every time I get a Voice Mail (ugh)
The one I have now makes me dial *86 every time I click on it, even if I click "Subscribe for Visual Voice Mail" , it gives me an error.
So again, Please if anyone has a KitKat version on their LG G2, Please pull out the APK File for Visual Voice Mail 3.0.6 I believe is, and post it here, I will greatly appreciate it, or simply if you have it ready without going through your phone.
Not sure if this will work or not, but just a thought.
Go to xda-developers Verizon LG G2 Verizon G2 Android Development [ROM] XDABBEB's VS980 v2.2.0
There xdabbeb posted zips for removed lg and google apps. The VVM might be in there. I'm not too sure, I don't have it on my phone.
Best of luck!

The .apk is in XDABBAB's 2.2.0 LG apps zip. Make sure you copy over the .apk and the odex file. Let us know if it works...

Ever tried Google voice mail? Having voice mail transcribed and sent as text (and/or email) is great. You can also play back the voice mail from Google voice or Google dialer, so there really isn't a need to call.
It's a bit of a pain to install (a computer with chrome and Google voice app is helpful), but it's worth it.
lg g2 xdabbeb's vs980 v2.2.0
Watching this one :good:
Google Voice
Yeah i get a lot of questions as to why i want the visual voicemail app also. Not only do we have to pay for it but Google Voice does all the transcribing and such also. Its just a ease of use thing for me, as i think they hope it would be. I pay for the feature but also dont get it with a custom rom. I cant find the apk anywhere, which is unusual. If anyone can help i would also appreciate it.
Does anyone know how to activate the native screen recorder, if possible?
I've searched online but found nothing specific for the MiA2, since we've just received the update.
Thanks!
Nah, Google removed the screen recorder feature in the Android 10 final build
