I am very new in the Android's stuffs so i want to confirm something here.
I have read a thread in the X8 general discussion,
Saying that X8 and W8 is basically the same phone where SE just slapped a "walkman" logo on X8 and called it a W8.
So my question is this,
Can i root, install recovery, and install custom ROM (like froyobread or GingerDX) using the same softwares found on this thread which is meant for X8 ?

yes,you can do it normally.its like on all xperias.and if you mess up something just flash it back with sony ericsson update service.

I bought the Xperia T (lt30p) and i would say what is the best rom and the best kernel. Thank you!
Please use search, also there is no answer to this question so there is no point posting it. Especially add your have not said what you want from the Rom....
Is your phone's bootloader unlocked? You can only flash custom kernels if your bootloader is unlocked. Not all of our phones are able to have the bootloader unlocked. There are threads in the forum to show you how to check if your phone is allowed to have it unlocked. If it says "No", then right now there is no chance of having your bootloader unlocked. If it says "Yes", then you can unlock it through Sony's dev website.
There are some great ROMs for the XPeria T that use the stock kernel. Right now, I am using XPerimenT ROM v2.9 on my LT30a. It's a little old, but I really like it. It is based the official 141 firmware.

I want a simple CM 10 with oc and stable kernel... But i don't know if there is CM 10.2 or CM 10.1

Hi all
I unlocked my cousins xperia t bootlader and installed omni 4.4 on her phone but she is not happy with it
i have a quastion
Can i recive ota updates after relocking bootlader ?( it was possible in 2011 devices but i didnt find anything about this in 2012 xperia section)
Also i have another quastion (i saw the answer but i wana get sure)
What is the best ftf file to relock xperia t bootlader ? Doomlord one?
Edit: i dont have any TA backup because she doesnt need thiese download music info and ba 2 futures

i manage to flash and downgrade to 4.2.2 but after that there is no mobile network other things are working can u please help me ?

Just keep going through what I said
Install dual recovery
flash a 757 pre rooted rom
I do suggest that if you are so new to this, you read all the instructions and "how to" threads before starting

ya right now now i m in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606 this section but cant guess which file should i download i tell u once again that i downgrade to 14.1.G.1.534 so i kindly request u please can u give me files for dual recovery very much scared and waiting thanks a lot

ohh i found ther files Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.7.123-BETA.installer.zip (10.22MB) i download it and when i start it i press 3 becuase my device is unrooted but after that i get message like this waiting for device even after connected device with enable usb debugging mode

thanks again finally i m done to root now my condition is that i have rooted 14.1.G.1.534 c9602 indian z1 now i just want to do stock rooted latest kitkat please give me final help thanks in advance

No I can not suggest the best ROM, its like asking whats your favourite pizza, some people like pineapple on their pizza, some do not. Some even like little fish on (Dirty so and so's)
So, for your best rom, you have to try and them and see....

You need to say more some abt the requirements. Unlocked bootloader, flashing other items like gapps, flashing new kernel, ...?
