[Q] SGS issue force close on receive call

I just installed Darky's 5.2 ROM over my stock 2.1-update1 and everything works fine, but whenever I receive a call something (dialer?) gets a force close and the call is rejected together with a temp. loss of signal.
Then everything is back to normal...
Any steps I'd take? I'm pretty new to this.

have the exact same problem... can dial out no problem but only receiving calls. so thinking about whether I should flash another rom until this is fixed.....

I was wondering could I just do a factory reset and then flash the rom over again? Do I have to disable the voodo lagfix before? Not too sure how this works heh.

I don't have this problem. But whenever i am in the game "flick kick football," I get some random hangs, and is forced to close. I suspect that happens when I get incoming calls. Anyway to confirm this?

I have the same problem. I recived a call, something force closed, the signal dropped and i lost the operator. I had similar problems with bluetooth and file manager before on this ROM, but I re-flashed it and everything worked again.

no problem here with Darky's 5.2 ROM and the Clean Guide Instruction, i just received a call without any problems

I used the easy guide and did not clean anything or do a factory reset, I just followed it like a dumbo. I came from 2.1-update1 stock JM5 kernel with a ton of apps installed, if that helps.

hey I think I found a solution to this. I went to recovery mode, wiped cache, wiped dalvik, did a factory reset and voila, receiving calls works without force closing.
phew.. was about to download another rom. anyhow, hope that works for you Jule!
still a few problems with the ROM that i encountered:
- my AT&T home button is not working.... not to sure whether there will ever be a fix for it
- media volume, even set to max, is not working when playing movies and youtube.

[Q] Phone won't call and get called

Hi guys,
I was on version 8.0 and installed version 10.1 (Darky)
After that i can't get called, the caller gets the voicemail and I get a message with a missed call.
I also can't call someboy else, it directly says: connection terminated.
I tried installing the resurrection edition, 9.2.... but still the same problem.
I also tried installing a stock rom, 2.3.4 AND 2.2 with odin... both don't work, even the CWM backup i made from darky's 8.0 has the same problem when i restore it
It looks like it goes wrong when I flashed from darky's 8.0 tot 10.1...

Can't receive phone calls after flashing Slim ICS 3.2

Hey all,
I just flashed Slim ICS 3.2 and the essentials files for the Vibrant and everything seems to be working great, however, I am unable to receive phone calls. I can place phone calls just fine, but I never even see when someone attempts to call me now. Any ideas on what could cause this and how to fix it? Thanks guys.

flash another modem................I recommend u to flash kf1 modem after that flash KB3 modem.............

CM11 no phone service but data works

I have 3g and LTE service depending on where I am with working data but I cannot make or receive phone calls or test messages. Data works fine. I have tried the latest and the oldest radio, no change. Even if I restore back to my stock ROM I still have no phone service but data will work. I have also tried to flash the CM11 rom a few times. I am on the 11/19 nightly. Im not sure what else to try.

I was looking through some setting and found my MIN number is set to 8471110111...Im guessing I have to get the correct number from sprint and figure out a way to change it to the correct number?

Cannot Make Calls At All

I am currently on Insertcoin 4.0.4 and cannot make calls. When I try to make a call, it would just say "call ended" immediately without ringing. I also cannot receive calls. I changed rom to PA CM11 Beta 4 and the same problem persists. No matter what I do, I can't make calls. I started to believe it was the radio, so I just flashed the T-Mobile US 4A.14.3250.15_10.34.1150.02L from the Radio dump list and still cannot make calls. I am S-off with the latest firmware and I noticed that this happened when all the roms in the forums changed from M7ul to M7lte. Is there a solution to this? I have tried wiping the data of the dialer and even installing a fresh rom with a full wipe. After a clean install, I would be able to make a few phonecalls before it starts doing the same thing again.
