Looks like your system partition is empty, so you'll have to install a whole rom ,an OTA won't help an empty system

Okay, do you have any rom(eg. ARHD).zip on your phone? If you do, flash that via twrp, and you're done
If you don't, copy a rom to a USB flash drive and connect it to your phone with an OTG Cable, and flash it via twrp
If you don't have an OTG cable, try this to sideload a rom to your internal sd card http://teamw.in/ADBSideload

It's definitely NOT bricked. I'll keep an eye on this thread, you're getting great help but if you don't end up getting it fixed send me a PM, I sometimes forget about a thread I need to check back in on. It's for sure fixable and there's great advice in here.
Edit I somehow missed your last post before posting this. Send me a PM, and I'll help you get it fixed up after work.

ok so fastboot is working, as suggested before post a "fastboot getvar all" (remove IMEI and s/n).
If sideload isn't working you can use "adb push", but first thing is to reflash custom recovery just in case it's corrupted.
so download CWM or TWRP (from the threads in xda), then
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery <name of recovery>.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
-> enter RECOVERY
then
adb push <name of rom>.zip /sdcard/ (this will take anywhere between 5 to 15minutes and not show progress, eventually it should come back with "success")
then
install zip in recovery, and choose the <name of rom>.zip and install it.
Hello Guys,
I am in a huge problem. So my microphone isnt working and i need to send my device to HTC for repairs. I am S-off using rum runner and unlocked. I use TWRP recovery and restored my device to stock nandroid backup. I did fastboot oem lock after that and tried to flash the original rom ruu but i kept getting error 155 although it said relocked on the bootloader. My Hboot was 1.44 and now suddenly it is upgraded to 1.56 maybe coz i flashed ARHD 41?
All of a sudden my touchscreen stopped working too. I am pretty sure it is something to do with touchscreen drivers. I want to reflash a rom so i can come out of all this. Can someone please help me flash a rom using fastboot since i cant use my touch screen?
I used the command fastboot flash rom rom.zip but below is the error it gave me:-
c:\fastboothtc>fastboot flash zip rom.zip
sending 'zip' (1145618 KB)...
OKAY [ 51.894s]
writing 'zip'...
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 51.931s
Someone please please help me.
Thank you

I guess so. Here is in detail what ive been doing:-
1. Connect phone via USB and i have no ROM nor any data on it right now since ive wiped the device.
2. Boot into recovery and then select adb sideload
3. Use all adb commands but it says no device found coz device is not being recognized right?
4. I am at work now and im trying on my office computer but i have one exclamation mark under other devices in device manager. It was the same on my Home computer. It just does not want to install drives for this "one" under other devices.

Try to install it Manually following these steps ....choose from the attachment according to whether it 32-bit or 64-bit
Click StartStart button, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
In the Tasks pane, click Device Manager.
User Account Control permission If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
In Device Manager, locate the device for which you want to install the driver.
Note To display hidden devices, click Show hidden devices on the View menu.
Right-click the device, and then click Update Driver Software.
Click Browse my computer for driver software, click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and then click Have Disk.
In the Install From Disk dialog box, click Browse, locate an .inf file for the device driver that you want to install, and then click Open.
Follow the steps in the Update Driver Software DeviceName dialog box to update the driver.
Thanks a ton [email protected] (bohot bohot shukriya). My phone finally came to life. I used some other driver but you really helped me and kept me going. I am attaching the drivers for someone in need sometime. Can you also help me downgrade my Hboot to 1.44 if that is possible? When i did Soff using rumrunner it just upgraded my Hboot to 1.56.

well if you have this many questions .. I think you should stop and read the guides before you do something to the phone that can't be reversed.
start here (go to post 2 Guides) >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438026
this is the MAC thread >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245782

once you have a handle on all the steps required to unlock - install recovery - get Root - and Flash Roms then you can start

Okay... After reading a bunch of stuff, I still have no idea what I'm looking for/what I need to actually do. I'm trying to get my HTC One back to stock, and all the guides I'm seeing require the phone to actually be working (mine isn't, it's stock on the TWRP/recovery thing therefore I can't access any of my apps and whatnot). Okay, followed this tutorial today (can't post the link but it's called "How to Root HTC One! [Mac, Linux, Windows Tutorial]" and no matter what I do I can't seem to get back to the actual phone (i.e., being able to access the main screen where everything is, if you know what I mean). I've tried going to the recovery screen and hitting reboot but it just takes me back to this TWRP page that has a bunch of options like "Install, Wipe, Backup, Restore, Mount, Setting, etc. I really hope I haven't screwed up my phone permanently. Please help me :crying:

Sent from my HTC Desire X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Tried to update TWRP 2.6.3.3. with flashify to latest. Got into recovery, didnt see anything happening, so we rebooted.
But it didnt reboot. Went to black screen. Can not get into recovery. Tried to access via adb and whatever command I send, all I get is < waiting for device >
it seems my phone is not even being seen with ADB, as the same < waiting for device > comes up when the phone is not connected or error: device not found

sure it will, you have to bring up the boot menu when you boot the PC, it's usually f12 or f10, it will say it on the first boot screen

Well the thing with Flashify is it uses your build.prop to determine what recovery to install
If you had a custom rom that changed the build prop to an M8 your recovery would be over written with the wrong size files

1. Ran the Nexus 6 1 click unroot kit
2. Somehow I screwed it up and now can't get past the teamwin blue screen just keeps popping back up.
3. I have a mac and have watched countless videos on reflashing factory image and nothing seems to be working.
Any ideas?

Are you familiar with fastboot? If not, go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3006500
I don't use Mac so I'm not sure exactly how the commands get typed but you should try:
fastboot format cache
fastboot format userdata

Navigate to the platform-tools folder and open a command window there. Also, if that doesn't work, in the fastboot thread I linked, is a method to install fastboot and ADB system wide. Is that an option?
Well while evolution_freak helps you out, I'd like to chime in and say that I always stayed away from any 1-click anything, as well as any auto ROM/recovery updater.
You never know if you downloaded the wrong file
and then I just imagined hundreds of lines of code pouring into my poor little phone and how it would be screaming inside ):
I've seen lots of hard bricks happen from 1-click packages, learning how to do things the dirty way is more fun anyway!

Thanks, maybe you can explain to me. In the image I attached it asks for password, but it won't let me type my computer password at all. Anyway to actually type it so it doesn't keep telling me incorrect password?

I've never encountered this, again I don't have Mac. I'm guessing you couldn't get the simple ADB and fastboot tool to install, from the other thread?
I haven't had my morning coffee yet, so bare with me.

On a mac you don't need to install the drivers it said that was windows only when I tried clicking it in the SDK manager. Weirdly enough last night when I first tried this it actually showed something connected. So I am not sure what happened between then and now.

Try this, power off your nexus and manually boot it to bootloader. Hold power down and press volume up. Once it boots to bootloader, connect to your computer.
---------- Post added at 08:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:04 AM ----------
See if it is detected then and try the command: fastboot devices
