So i have this problem, i connect my phone to LG mobile support tool, everything goes fine, it detects that i am from Lithuania(Baltics) and after checking it says that the most recent update is 10h? Although i know the v20a update is available on smartphenom DOT com
What could be the problem?

Same here, i bought my phone in Latvia( also Baltics ), and only 10H is available. After some investigation, i noticed my phone is DEU not BAL!!! For DEU only 10H is available! So does not matter where are you, or where you bought phone, if phone was made for DEU, than only DEU updates you will get (still its wrong, that DEU phones are sold in Baltics...

Enter your IMEI after the =.
It should give a string of information. The country is 6 letters and looks similar to this: ASEABK

look at PHONE remember whatever is after n7000
then go here
and find out what you've got
mine is N7000UBKK2 didn't see UBKK listed but UB is Brasil just in case you have UB but doubt it.

LG PC Suite uses the following user-agent:
LGE-ActiveDP/0.9
So I tried changing the number portion from 0.0 to 9.9 but it didn't work.
If anyone knows which LG tool a tester uses to download firmware, maybe I can try to dig into that application to find the proper user agent string if there is any.

Same here,i tried everything,flashing a fresh 350 firmware but i couldn't update the phone via ota.
I have an unlocked bootloader,i locked it but same things.

The .434 update was released a couple weeks ago, I guess there are different release schedules for every country.
I had my XZ rooted with the locked bootloader method ( goroh_kun's ), and ota updates does not work.
Updated through Sony Bridge for Mac, it works, but the root access was lost. Re rooted it with the same method and it works
Seriously? I still have nothing even on PC companion. I'm on unbranded but use an O2 sim.

Same here, and Three don't even have any forums to ask how long updates should be taking, it's been three weeks now and absolutely nothing.
I knew Sony would be slow with updates but didn't realise I would then have to wait for Three to push it through! Will probably have to wait at least six months to get the 4.2.2 update! lol
Extremely bad customer service from Three so will be leaving them when my contract is up, can't even use Google to search for any helpful information as a company called 'Three' brings up almost every query regardless of network operator :silly:

Well, I haven't had the update and I will probably never get it! In a German forum someone contacted the customer care of my provider (t-mobile Germany) and was told by the tech-support that t-mobile will not roll out the .434 as their techs thought that it would harm the phone more than it actually helped. So they're waiting for the next update...
Dunno if it's true, but I could imagine that it is, as every provider releases their updates differently, so they might skip one as well...

I want to go back to how the phone was out of the box. I now have installed UK branded .423 4.1.2 JB rom. I cant find the 4.2.2 update on either Pc companion or my phone. So what i am wondering about is : How can i now for sure which version is the "right" one for me? I live in norway,but i havent found any STOCK roms who says Norway or my carrier Telenor.
Could on of you please link to the right version that i need? TFT.
And do i have to do a full wipe from the rom i know have installed when i am installing the new one?
cause then i dont bother setting up my phone until i have fixed.

I think the .423 firmware you're talking abut is 4.2.2..just check it out once again....and nope,u needn't wipe any data...and all firmwares work with most of the carriers unless ur phone is carrier locked,if u want to flash any FTF's,make sure it is for ur device (C6603,etc) to avoid any issues..anyways have fun!

On ur box side sticker it displays tthe region code and soft version it was shipped with. Compare the firmware thread and u have ur stock soft bersion and number.

Try a bit of googling if u can find the ftf file (older version) but if u are looking foe the new update it might not be yet released for ur current region/version

I dont know, its downloading atm. But normally hi doesn't add anything to the firmware, that's why i like hi so much.
