Just got mine at the Verizon Store. Beautiful phone man.
You switching from the Droid Charge to the D3, papi?
I might pick one up later down the line too. If you get one, post your impressions, likes, and dislikes.

How much did it cost you? Is it $450 full retail in store? I keep seeing it listed different prices everywhere online and I've seen differences as much at $200.
Best buy is 645 verizon is 449?

Yeah, the price ranges are ridiculous.
Best Buy is serious a ripoff game, they are trying to play up their buy back program which may be find if you plan to upgrade again at full retail in less than 6 months, but at their inflated retail prices is a joke. $200 premium over Verizon Wireless stores, no thank you.
I did love my Droid Charge, but I really do enjoy the new Droid3 and the keyboard. Blur is the just crap though and I desperately want the bloatware off, trying to figure out what launcher to use.
So I was considering swapping my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 for an Atrix HD. I got a guy who will do a trade. What do you guys think? Would this be considered an "upgrade" as far as performance?

Yeah I just read the thread about upgrading the battery. Seems simple enough. I am convinced. Swapping on Friday.
Where could I find this thread?

Look at the ATRIX HD accessories section.

Had one of these on my S3 and just bought one for my GN2. Anxiously awaiting their honeycomb case to follow soon.

I have one for the S3 and I LOVE IT!! Best $20 bucks I ever spent on a phone battery. My worry with this one though is no mention of NFC on it. The Note 2 has NFC on the case again not on the battery like the S3. If this has NFC then you will officially have a phone that lasts longer than a Tablet

No NFC, no thanks.
I bought one of these (can't post links, but do a search on ebay for note 2 7600 and you'll find it). Decided if I was going to extend the battery I might as well do it properly, and a 7600MA battery is about as big as I could find! Figured if it was crap I'd only wasted £15! Turns out it's rather good. It does add a bit of depth to the phone (about 10mm), but for me at least it actually makes it more comfortable in my hand. And it has the added bonus of keeping the camera lens away from whatever surface the phone is on. Can't comment on whether the nfc works or not I'm afraid as it's not something I use.

yeah, I think those go over the battery cover. anyways, I contacted Hyperion asking where I could buy some, and they just sent me 2 for free
I will be receiving mine tomorrow and was just wondering how everyone felt about their new flexes. Are there any quality control things to look for?

no issues here at all, i love the look and feel of the device... the build quality if better then samsungs. I like it a lot better then my note 3. I'm loving the curved screen its sick! having the biggest battery among the different version is nice.! 3500 mah vs 3400 other carriers
Pretty sure 3400 is a typo. All are 3500.

I stumbled across this because I have been googling for one since I got my phone and finally found one. Its not that much more powerful then the stock one but for the price its worth it. Check it out!

The actual capacity will be less than the stock one. For $15, why not just buy the stock one?

Because you can label any mah number on the battery.
It is common that 3rd party batteries inflate the capacity.
And 3rd parties usually have worse or no better battery technology so that it is nearly impossible for 3rd parties to put higher capacity in the same size.
