Had one of these on my S3 and just bought one for my GN2. Anxiously awaiting their honeycomb case to follow soon.

I have one for the S3 and I LOVE IT!! Best $20 bucks I ever spent on a phone battery. My worry with this one though is no mention of NFC on it. The Note 2 has NFC on the case again not on the battery like the S3. If this has NFC then you will officially have a phone that lasts longer than a Tablet

No NFC, no thanks.
I bought one of these (can't post links, but do a search on ebay for note 2 7600 and you'll find it). Decided if I was going to extend the battery I might as well do it properly, and a 7600MA battery is about as big as I could find! Figured if it was crap I'd only wasted £15! Turns out it's rather good. It does add a bit of depth to the phone (about 10mm), but for me at least it actually makes it more comfortable in my hand. And it has the added bonus of keeping the camera lens away from whatever surface the phone is on. Can't comment on whether the nfc works or not I'm afraid as it's not something I use.

Thanks guys! Something too good to be true I guess.
Actually I bought this battery, cover and charger off ebay 2 weeks ago and imho its awesome, typically my stock battery gives me 7.5 hrs screen time over 1.5 days, the 6500mah battery gives me TWELVE hours screen time over 2 days. I only switch wifi or 3g/4g on when I need them with sync off and this applies to the stock result as well, I know china batteries are usually sub standard and do not perform anywhere near their quoted mah capacity but in this case its pretty good and for £8.50 delivered exceptional value, if I get ONE year of consistent performance I will buy it again.

I believe these have the capacity of two chinese batteries in one, whatever that means. Still it should be better than stock battery.

Mugen is overpriced. Why not Momax? They use LG cells. I've had a fat Momax extended battery on my SGS2 for 18 months and no issues at all. It lasted about twice as long as expected from the numbers.
Really cheap batteries leave me nervous. I sleep with my phone charging next to me and would not like to wake up in a fire or worse.
But Mugen? I'm quite unlikely to drop $100 for a battery. But won't go for $10 ones either. If Momax doesn't release their extended for the Note II soon, I'll just find something similar.

Well, the Veblen effect might apply to extended batteries too. But in general if the difference is too big I tend to suspect that they are using cheap cells and/or lying regarding capacity. It is not always easy to measure the numbers accurately.
Hello, has anyone ever used either of these batteries? I saw them listed on ebay, and there are many sellers for these. Unfortunately, since you can't see any product reviews on ebay, unlike on amazon, I can't tell if it's any good or not.

No it is going strong since 4 month's. I done earlier post I posted the link for the 4300 mAh I use. That's exactly what u have. No it does not has nfc. The only battery that is bigger and has nfc is the one from mugen. But that 2680MAH has it. Well it still is able to fit in ur normal battery back so. I heard someone mention that those gold batteries are sold out. And if u buy that bigger battery make sure to follow the charging and recharging procedure. Put in ur phone let it run down to 5% then charge it for around 12 hours. Make sure u do not interrup the charging. Then after that the same always let it go down to around 5 and charge it for around 8 hours. Ur phone is gonna tell u that the battery is full like after 2 hours. That's not right. Since it goes by the standard battery. Trust me 12 hours 5% and afterwards 8 hours 5%. Makes sense since the battery is a little bigger then twice the original one.
And look at this when do u ever get after over 15 with using the phone still 62% battery life left? Never ever. Also I used it with 1500 mhz speed I use it the standard speeds no under or overclocking. Kept that in mind.

Yeah no issues. The golden and the 4300 mAh are both made with Japanese cells so it is all good. Also they have overcharging protection. I had no issues at all. It makes my phone finally usable. I went 2 days 16 hours without charging. I take that over a little bit bulk. Or 2 to 4 hours more with that golden.

According to these articles, it sounds like the M8 isn't going to be much better than our current device. 2GB of RAM, UltraPixel camera (no reference about actual pixel count)

The phone would need to be a bit bigger for a larger battery. I think that battery life on my DNA is awesome. Although I do run a custom rom and kernel (latest cr-palmer kernel). I really don't think that they should use a smaller battery either, hopefully it will be more advanced.
I have a feeling (other elevate members will know what I'm talking about) HTC is considering going back to removable batteries.

It would be really interesting to hear if this replacement gave You more life for the watch ? let us know after few days of use...
The battery life isn't substantially higher, it lasts longer as I can see, but only by a few hours .

You rock! Thanks for putting this together. Any chance you can link the battery you used just in case anyone (myself included) wants to order it and make the update themselves? Not much difference, but as this device gets older it might be worthwhile to swap batteries.
Thanks again for the nice mod!

This is an older photo, I used the regulator from the old battery on this one, but as you see, it isn't being used with it in this photo

How has no one noticed the fact that the word "350mah" was written in marker and not printed?
I'm calling your bluff.

I have successfully replaced the battery before, but be cautious if you do get a gear, only tested on original gear. You have to switch the capacitors, or the battery will just drain, and it needs the same voltage. The LG G Watch I heard was a great device, and with the oneplus, the G watch has full compatibility. I used the gear once with a Droid ultra, I had problems with a few things, and no galaxy store. Good thing I'm back to my Note 3 (for now ☺).
when replacing the battery with the 350mah one, you have to switch a capacitor? you can just connect the two wires to the pads? and what is the battery regulator? I want to try this one
