[Q] Build.prop Tweaks - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hello there....As mencioned in the title, what are the better tweaks to put in build.prop and how to put them?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. - And could someone please send me the original .492 build.prop? As was playing around with it and now the camera sees 12mpx instead of 13 xD. Shame on myself xD

Just add these at last in build.prop
# Touch Tweak

view.minimum_fling_velocity=60

Whar phone?
Thank me! I need to get my thanks up from my previous account!

The 12mpx is nothing to do with build.prop turn auto mode off and see it return.

The Phone is the Xperia T lt30p
P.s. Yeah you are right. The 12mpx it's from superior auto setings. If i change the camera to normal. It read's it as 13mpx.

touch pointer

Hey guys..
Is there any problem if I keep this option ON ?
And is there any way I can change is pointer ? I dont like this circle thing :/
Go to settings / developers options and then check or uncheck the touch pointer box.
Edit: I guess you can't change the pointer. It's an developer option so it's still in beta...

I want to keep this option ON.. is there any issue if i keep this on forever ?
Well I could have an influence on your battery lifetime. But I guess that's it...
Concerning my earlier reply, sorry for misunderstanding the question.

Probably themę is a line in build.prop to keep it on, but i dont known it And you can change the point by repleace png in framework

I think it won't cause any issue, I use it a lot with the coordinates one, and yes, you can edit the image (white circle)

Camera settings - what is the best?

Hi. I am wondering what settings you all prefer using with the camera.
I am on normal mode, 9 megapixel (16:9).
Does the ppicture quality get a little better with 12megapixel (4:3)? Don't see any difference..
So what settings are you guys on?

We can't tell you our settings, cause it's a secret!
No... it purely depends on the conditions. We can tell you that for example superior mode is the best, wouldn't it be that you want to take a night shot, then Normal mode HDR would be better.
I'd say play with the settings and you decide.
I use normal mode HDR: off most of the times.
Sometimes burst.

Haha
I see. Don't see any difference when changing from many different setting. Only noticeable is changing from 9 mp to 12 mp. That is the format size. My eyes are so bad at noticing any difference what so ever.

Boot animation #google edition

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340338.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U75TYBWTRII&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Maybe ot works on our XZ
Dont know for sure because of the screensize

cool boot animation!
I would like to flash it on Xperia Z fw .423 stock but I'm looking for feedbacks before..
Me 2 i didnt dare to take the risk,if the screensize is a problem maybe someone can mod it to fit our screen
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
I used a file to flash using recovery and it worked. It didn't soft brick my device. Just that the animation looms kind of small on the screen. May be the resolution thing.
Don't know how to post the zip file here. But the post from which I got it is now closed. May be due to some violation.
Do you guys know how to add the file here using the xda app? Don't have my comp with me here.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
HTC One has same resolution of display as our phone. So it should work as shown in video.
P.s. I didn't liket that animation, xperia's better

Auto rotation in launcher

Hey guys,
I read, that you can force auto rotation in launcher by editing the build.prop.
My question is: what do I have to add and where?
Thx

Take the Xperia launcher mod ra3l or something like this was his name here from xda. It's look like the normal launcher but it work on all android 4.1 and up.
Gesendet von meinem Xperia SP
Thx I will try it
But I think it should be possible without installing apps? (I don't like bloatware )
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368506 this on and he is not a ram eater then the original on.

I think this is what your looking for, not sure if it works with sony home though.
launcher.force_enable_rotation=true
Add it to the bottom of your build.prop and find out.
By the way... i found this by typing in "auto rotate launcher build.prop" into google.
Thx for your reply
Sir, be sure I used Google, too, and I found that as well. But it didn't work for me, it seems to be a kinda Google launcher solution. I'm just wondering if there is a solution for xperia as well...

I think for the sony launcher the xml files need to be edited in the apk.
I used to enable lockscreen rotation all the time in my old phone and that needed a value changing in the framework.apk

well if by build.prop it cannot be done, if i may suggest using App Setting found in xposed installer. with that app u can specifiy which app will have forced rotation. mind u that u need to be rooted to use it.

Yeah I did. Don't know, maybe it's a problem with the Existenz Rom? Cause my home app may be kind of modified.
