I Know.. but if you are able to flash a custom recovery like CWM i think you can wipe data and\or flash a custom rom instead a stock

you dont need root to flash 2.3.6 via ODIN. if only download mode works for u you only have few options. 1 if u have warranty send it back to samsung. 2 install clockworkmod recovery via odin multi downloader or reflash gingerbread 2.3.6 via odin while your phone is in download mode thats it!. easily sorted when u know how if download mode still works.
strange for a new phone to have bootloop.
hi there after coming home tried to flash the phone
but only thing i get is i hear on my pc that it is connected but not to be seen on my pc.
when i put it in download mode odin doesn't recognize the phone what is to be done with this.
can't get into recovery mode either
happend only once did recovery wipe data but then i got e:
can't mount data?
please help getting desperete to after flashing my sgs2 for over 20 times without any problem
i think the problem is yhat it's not in debug mopde but there is no way for me to get it there becaus cant get into the damn thing
please again how to solve before taking it back for warranty because its a long drive for me to get to the shop

You are absolutely sure it's S5830?? Check this thread:
Here
Do steps A to C, this will restore your mobile, meaning that that it will erase ALL your data, not SD card though.. Although it's difficult for you to make a backup now, so... This will probably fix your phone.
Press Thanks button if helped.
i touched your kernel for sure!
its soft brick!
put phone in download mode! flash a stock rom! and then flash a custom rom that has a kernel with init.d support!
Problem solved, flashed 2.3.3 and it's working
Thanks :good:
Hi,
I bought my samsung galaxy note GT-N7000 in India. The OS was GB on it, later I upgraded with ICS from samsung service centre. For few months it worked fine.
Once I found my mbile was switched off , I restarted with power button then it got hanged on samsung logo while booting.
I removed the battery and again restarted----same problem persist.
I rebooted from recovery (Power+volume up+home)----- same problem persist
From recovery tried factory reset------------------------------ same problem
Flash done using odin v1.85 and PDA file "N7000XXLRT_N7000DBTLRT_N7000XXLRK_HOME.tar.md5"-----
Flashing done successfully and it PASS from odin-----Still same problem.
Plz suggest if some solution is there.
which Logo is it,? glowing one or the N7000 one?
go to philz thread, download LRT kernel (zip file). place it on ext SD and flash it from stock recovery. then boot into recovery again. do a factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache.
Stuck at Samsung logo on restart

if you have downgraded to GB then no need to do the above steps. just do a factory reset from recovery

it sometimes take about 3-5 mins for the phone to restart. so wait for a while. if that doesnot work, flash ICS again and follow the earlier steps

Thanks will Try.... Restart u mean....after rebooting it will Stuck for 3-5 min on Samsung GALAXY Note..GT-N7000..and then it will go ....
Tried still same problem.....
Thanking you....
No. When you flash a new rom, it stays on the glowing logo or whatever the boot animation is for 2-5 mins. If it's stuck on N7000 logo then it's a differ story all together

I have been trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S I9000 without success. I used Odin and flashed I9000XXJVK_kernel.tar but when I switched the phone it doesn't boot. It is stuck on the Galaxy S GT-I9000 white logo with black background. I then tried to install using Odin the CF Root-XW-XEN-JS3v1.3-BusyBox but it failed installing on Odin. Now the worst has happened. My Samsung Galaxy S i9000 will not switch on now. All I get on the display when I try to boot is an exclimation mark icon in the middle of a phone and PC icon. I fear it is bricked.
Anyone know how I can save my phone?
Please advise
I managed to get my Samsung Galaxy back to life with flashing the factory ROM on Odin.
Anyone know how I can root my Samsung without this happening again?

Welcome to XDA robj1974. You have two ways to solve this:
1)- Boot into recovery and wipe data reset. (Volume+ + MenuKey + PowerKey)
2)-Boot into Download mode and flash a fresh firmware on your cell.(Volume- + MenuKey + PowerKey)
All the best!

Hi There,
Well you will need to flash your device using Odin. Download the firmware package from www.sammobile.com/firmwares and flash it using Odin.
