[EASIEST]Crack Android Pattern/Pin/Password Lockscreen without root! - Galaxy Ace S5830i General

Reset Android Pattern/Password/Pin lock (PROBABLY without even root)
PHP:
I am not responsible for your device being dead, you flashing stock ROM, you using your device as a brick, or any harm to any information, personal or intellectual property, terrorism, vandalism, theft, or any other thing by use or misuse of this mod.
This guide is for educational purpose only
Introduction
It sucks when you forget your passwords
But Gmail account can save you. But what for those who don't have it?
There are some methods to reset them
Wiping data being most popular
But, why loosing precious data when there is a easier or easiest to do method
This is a new method found and tested by me on a rooted device but the resources it uses are available to be used without root too, so it may work on unrooted devices too.
This method uses Aroma File Manager by amarullz in Recovery Mode of the device to delete the password database related files. So, it should work on all devices!
So, first you need to download AROMA FILE MANAGER from this thread :-
Aroma File Manager
Credits:-
*amarullz for Amazing Aroma File Manager
*m.sabra for information about which files are related to passwords and pattern
Instructions:-

1. Download Aroma File Manager.
2. Place it in the root of your sdcard(Preferred)
3. Reboot into recovery
4. For CWM:
Mount all partitions (including sd-ext if you have it)
And flash Aroma File Manager from sdcard
For stock recovery(Samsung e3):
In stock recovery, there is no option to mount partitions, so
Flash Aroma File Manager, Click on menu option and go to settings
Select Mount All Partitions
Now, exit from Aroma File Manager and reflash it.
Now, you will see each partition is mounted
5. Now, go to /data/system
Note : If you have sd-ext mod to increase internal storage, go to /sd-ext/system/
6. Now, If you have to remove pattern lock, long press and delete gesture.key
If you want to remove password, delete password.key
7. Exit the Aroma File Manager
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy

Thanks.
Now my friend is going to cry a lot

Big thanks!
I had forgotten my PIN and I can do nothing for help :crying: because I disabled the root access by adb, I tried any method like installing a app to bypass the lock screen, use adb command to disable and much much more...
BUT IT DID NOT WORK!!!
A big thank to the developer, again, because you help me save all my data and save my time.

Thanks Areeb, you just saved my friend data.

He used the word "Rooted device" .... So if you are rooted...you can easily install a custom recovery from a stock recovery.
And also gave a possibility for non-rooted device. Tested on rooted.

There is no android phone without recovery
And you can try my ROM Tools v3 which automatically reset passwords
Including what Androidnow said

This method was posted long time ago in the portal... For not rooted phones, you need adb debugging enabled and use adb from a PC to delete the files needed to disable security... For rooted phones, same story plus what the OP mentioned...

[TOOL] 1Click_CWR

I have made a small utility that will install CWR on the LG thrill. Untested on the optimus 3D....
Thanks to designgears for outlining the original procedure in this tread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257588
WARNING:
Your warranty is now void.
I take no responsibility for bricked, dead, or unresponsive phones. If you are uncomfortable using this tool, then DON'T. Furthermore, I created this utility for my phone, and decided to share it with the community.
This utility was coded in c# in a windows 7 environment. I can only speak to this working on windows 7. If it works on XP, great; but I only tested it on my windows 7 system. Confirmed working in XP by: gentzleon
Before you begin:
Phone must be rooted!!! Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1251663
Must have an SD card in the phone.(This is used for the storage of the recovery backup)
Drivers MUST be installed! ( Direct Link: Here)
Instructions:
1). Plug phone into computer via USB cable.
2). Turn on USB Debugging mode
3). Launch 1click_CRW with admin privilages (right click->run as Administrator)
4). Enjoy
Notice
Because people have different computer speeds and the fact I wrote this in 10 minutes, there is a pause between each command. Just click 'ok' when the popup messages says waiting.....Its fool proof.
ALSO: I did not put any error checking in it because I did not feel the need. I created this for fun and decided to share it.
If you see an error from ADB like no devices found, make sure your drivers are installed and restart the computer.

Sure no prob at all.
This installed cwr just fine but when i try to make a backup or install a new rom it says error cannot mount sd card does anyone know y this would happen
Freaking sweet. I was hoping to find something easier to do this with that having to go through the other method to flash GB Roms. That is what this is for right?
All those having problems installing, make sure all your permissions to /data are checked-(all 9) if not you will not be able to install recovery...
To set permissions you must;
Have root explorer or the free app ES file explorer.
---Navigate to /data and press and hold
---Select properties
---you will see at the bottome where it says permissions an option to change
--- Select change and make sure all are checked.,
---click out, reboot phone and it should all work..
There have been instances where the folder will change back permissions or not save the new permissions so just perform it again... Enjoy the 1 click CWM Now If this could be included in the script it will make it fool proof.....

I think I may change this app and create it in a windows form...I will have a button that follows the same procedure as it does now, and a second button to fix permissions..However, should I have it apply the permission change to the entire /data? Seems unsafe to me, but I'm paranoid.
Also, work has been long, and my wife and I are in the final process of buying a new house. So that is why I haven't been on much.
Figured it out thanks for this tool

[Q] Edit system file without root

does anyone can tell me how to edit android system file without root?

Not possible i guess. Only root users will get access to System partition. If not rooted, you'll only able to access the SD-card folder only.

Yes, it's impossible, you have to root......may I suggest you this: Universal Gingerbread Root & Unroot 2.3.3 -> 2.3.7+ ?
actually it is possible with abd it is like a temp root
what you need is a stock kernel in which ro.debuggable is set to 1 and you can use adb root command to push and pull files to system dont know about deleting
but still it is far better to root the device.

yes thats right, we need to mount system to r/w and thats need root, if not then we'll just in r/o state and we can only see and do nothing about it
I think it's possible
I have the same problem. I want to change the system sounds.
Today I was looking in my files with astro file manager. I noticed a little phone icon in the path. I tapped it and i got in the system partition.
P.S I have a galaxy nexus. It has no sd card. I don't know if it works with other phones.
I'd use adb, as dheerai said. I think u mean with 'root' that u flash sth with loosing warranty. But using adb doesnt void warranty, i think, cause if it would, no single developer using adb (and they do use it!) would loose his phones warranty and this might not be googles intention.

what if the phone don't have root....?
If you just want to view them then just flash TWRP flashing doesn't require root and you can view them and if you want to edit them then sorry there's no way to edit them without rooting
Can you please elaborate the process about how to edit the system files through adb commands?

NO CWM backups?

hey everyone well i was having some problem with my htc one root that it went away sometimes but after flashing 1.65 its fine but before that i had some backups of the cwm but i cant find them on my phone. In my s4 they are always on cwm folder and then backups but cant find on htc one.
Can someone please help me
thanks
Pretty sure they're in /data/media/clockworkmod/backup - they can't be seen by a PC so you have to use a file manager on the phone to move them to the PC-readable part of your memory
Thanks for the reply bro but i can find it.Nothing in that folder or anywhere else. Are my backups corrupt or something?

Either move them to /data/media/0/... using the root explorer on your phone, then you can see them with the PC,
or
use "adb pull" on your PC.

You used file explorer to check out your /system/media folder right? which one? But if you delete something there it not supposed to be there if you have correct rw permission there. I first think that it could be problem with bootanimation you try to install but if you can't delete something there for good I guess first look at your permission to write that folder.

Root again. Use "Easy Root Tool". If it stuck cleaning part just run it again and you should be good.
I was trying to change Xperia S bootanimation last year. Ending up to find that problem is much deeper then basic root and root explorer.
Didn't find the way how to apply custom one.
As I remember is somehow connected with bootloader or kernel
Sent from my C6903 using XDA Free mobile app
Don't know about Xperia S but with Z1 I can change bootanimation. I use X-plore by Lonely Cat Games with r/w rights and have zero problems.
I would suggest you do not have root.
Check if you have killed the ric.
Goto sys/kernel/security/Sony_ric and see if the file called enable says 0 or 1. Also check it just after a reboot.
If it's a 1 you will lose write permissions to the system partition after a reboot, which explains the symptoms you are talking about.
Changing the boot animation had nothing to do with kernel or bootloader, you just have to change the bootamimation.zip in system /media

CM12 screenshots?

Read something about this, but can't find it now, get a " not enough space" error trying to take a screenshot. Validus ROM.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
Does the error say something like "can't take screenshot due to limited storage space, or because the app doesn't allow it."? If so, then it is likely the app whatever app you are using that is blocking it. Netflix, bank apps, and some other apps do this.
Echoing above, you get a generic message like this if for example, you're screenshoting an app that wishes to block the feature. However if you used MTP or adb to copy your /sdcard data back to your phone via recovery, you'll have screwed up your permissions. DO NOT fix permissions via recovery. Test the screenshot folder to see if you can create new files using a file manager. If not, I'll link you to a flash able zip that will fix your sdcard for you.
